Ladies1stHVAC found a bad (leaking) shrader valve and had my AC back in working condition in 1 visit for the cost of show up and refrigerant re-charge. I have since used ladies 1st for the following work, and have been satisfied every visit. -Permitted & Relocated my HVAC to enable my basement remodel -Added rough in duct work for my basement re-model -trouble shoot faulty air conditioner, found a bad condensate pump where the float wasn't telling the pump to run so it was shutting my AC off. All work has been priced very well. I feel like AnnaLynn is very knowledgeable, responsive and is clearly very experienced.

A few years ago, AAA replaced our water heater, and the guy was friendly and did a good job. When…read moreour heater did not turn on, we called AAA again. Austin's misogynist behavior at AAA drove me to use a different service provider. When I called Ladies First, AnnaLynn immediately answered. I discussed my concerns, and she was very accommodating to my circumstances. However, it was slightly more expensive than the $50 with AAA. We did not discuss the initial service charge of $175 until she was done. AnnaLynn used several techniques to determine the problem, replaced the filter, and explained her service plans and costs for repair versus replacement. If you want someone who shows empathy and trustworthiness, call Ladies First.

I want to alert the public to the unscrupulous actions of this Lakewood-based company…read more A year ago a serviceman from Walrath Heating and Air Conditioning alerted me that my 20 year-old furnace was on its last leg. He suggested that I plan to save $6000 to $7000 for a new one this fall. In November I met with a Walrath salesperson who evaluated where the furnace was located in my crawl space and advised that the price would be $8000. Two days later his written proposal came in at $10,000. When I asked him about the difference, he said that he had forgotten to add in how labor intensive my particular installation would be. He was certain it would go into a second day. I took him at his word. It took the workmen less than 6 hours to complete the job. The salesman and head of the company - now called Walrath Mechanical - refuse to talk to me about the $2000 extra I was charged for labor that was not required. This is a scam. I have since noted on Yelp that I am not the only reviewer of Walrath who trusted a grossly inflated bid. These guys are crooks. Homeowners like me and managers of commercial properties may have once appreciated this small company. Don't be fooled - they no longer care about you.

Ralph came the next day and diagnosed the problem quickly, went and picked up the parts needed and fixed her furnace. The response was great and the price was very reasonable. In fact a plumber recently did that to her. We really appreciate Ralph and A Plus for helping our sister.

The great people at A+ have done furnace repairs, entire furnace replacements, a water heater replacement, and today they did a water line replacement to fix a leak that had developed. I would highly recommend to anyone.

He really wanted to give me the right information to solve the problem. A rare and appreciated quality. Thank you, Von! My husband called him and he came same day to evaluate and provided us with a bid/plan for repair. Tony is a mechanical engineer by training and extremely knowledgeable. This was not just a simple replacement, but rather a need to improve the efficiency and output with a better system and improve on poor work that had been done in the past. The very next day after his hard work (and his team) we had a replacement in place and plan for improvements in the future. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor who appeared to be professional…read more Here's what happened: They performed maintenance on my 4 year old Navien Combi-boiler. Everything checked out and the system was stated to be functioning normally. BUT Dave thought the system could be better if I added a different circulation pump. He also thought the system should be re-piped. As the bid for everything was close to $5,000, I opted to replace pump for $864. Soon after the pump was replaced and that maintenance work was done, I noticed the pipes were clanging when the heat went off. They said air was in the system and wanted to replace the air vent. Before they could replace the air vent my system broke down. It took them a week to get back to fix the problem (that's right! No heat or hot water for a week!). After it got running again the clanking continued and when I called to ask why, I was dismissed and asked to "pay up". I decided to enlist another company certified be the manufacturer to give the system a closer look. You won't believe what they found! The pump they installed was the wrong size(was suited for a large commercial application) and they installed it UPSIDE DOWN! The technician also found the heat exchanger had failed and there was carbon monoxide and gas spewing from it! It had to be shut down immediately was going to cost me $4,250 to get the system repaired! I hold Cedar Creek Mechanical and Dave Sutton responsible for this but to this date there has been no effort by him to make things right. Whats more, the suggestion for the repiping was all wrong. The factory certified technician said it was wrong to move the pipes on this system the way he suggested. So here it is: This company does bad work, suggests things that don't need to be done and then claims no responsibility! I believe they are also overpriced when I compare to others. They might try to deny this, but my system was running fine. I have it in writing. I have all of the receipts. We will see what the judge thinks!
