The estimates were about $900. On the envelope i made sure to write "call me if its over $1000" because i understand inflations been crazy. i get off work and no one calls me so i give them a call and they say the price is $2100 Plus a 3% credit card fee. They obviously ignored my message on the envelope even though they require you to fill out the envelope for the key drop. I had to argue them down and still ended up paying $1600. I thought they were nice dudes and maybe it was a misunderstanding but still felt shady and i overpaid on things i would have just did myself over the weekend if i new their real prices. I was looking at $$$ to get it towed to a shop just to get the problem checked, but then I found out that Equality Auto was a mobile mechanic van that came to you. For only slightly more $ for a diagnostic test than the lowest quote I got from auto shops in Everett, they came to me and saved me the towing cost, which made it a great value in the end (not to mention the time I saved by not having to leave the house or figure out care for my toddler). Trisha was able to fit me in to her schedule even earlier than she thought she'd be able to, and after determining the problem with the fuel injectors, she was able to order the parts and replace them in a timely manner.
