They did a diagnostic first and let me know what was the problem then call me to let me know what was wrong and what needed to be done at the same time chk to update my oil change .. it was time for Carlani oil change.. he gave the price how much it was going to cost before they fix the problem. There was one major issue. I told the owner that I was going to be taking my car on a long road…read moretrip and I needed all the safety checks done, tires checked, oil changed etc etc. When I went to pick up the car I specifically asked him about the tires and he said they looked good. Part way on my trip the sidewall of one of the tires gave out. The tire repair shop was flabbergasted to find that my tires were 25 years old. I had absolutely no idea they were that old (I did not put the tires on the car, I bought it second hand). I was relying on Blue Canary to do the paid for safety checks for me. When I returned to Blue Canary and told the owner (manager?) what I had discovered he definitely did not act surprised, dismayed, or even apologetic. He said he doesn't typically check the age of the tires. Something that several tire experts I spoke to said should be one of the first things done! It is extremely fortunate that I did not end up in a serious accident. I definitely would never rely on his assurance that things were taken care of and safe. In addition to the subpar service related to tire safety I also paid a considerable sum of money to have my engine cleaned. It definitely was not cleaned (didn't look like it had been cleaned at all). A rodent deterrent pack had been put inside the hood.... A very EXPENSIVE rodent pack since it appears that was all my expensive "engine cleaning" involved. He did offer to re-clean it when I got back to town and he was willing to do so when I brought it back in. However when I started talking with him about the situation with the tires I got totally disgusted with his attitude and left. I will not be back. And if you are concerned about anything that could be related to safety I would be cautious having it serviced by Bainbridge Blue Canary.

I've been holding off on writing a review of this dealer for reasons I'll explain below…read more We bought a 2018 Ford F250 from them on June 7th. The process was fine, CJ was our salesman and he was easy to deal with. We paid cash so didn't have any experience with the financing department. A week later the AC quit working, and the check engine light came on. It was running rough and jerking. We took it to our mechanic who said the code indicated a misfiring ignition coil. We were really frustrated and reached out to them. Yes, we knew we had bought a used vehicle and yes we declined the extended warranty. But to have this happen in one week didn't seem right. Jarret from their service department replied and asked us to bring it in. We did, they recharged the AC system and replaced the ignition coil at no charge. So far so good, the AC is working and the truck is running smoothly with no warning lights even after pulling a travel trailer to Ocean Shores and back. So I can recommend this dealer, they stood behind what they sold.

I occasionally compared estimates and Kens always had the best price. Since the service was good and the repairs were good, I never really thought much about it. Then I bought a VW ............ (Kens does not work on VW's, or at least the kind I have). In the last few years I have switched mechanics several times and most of them have been awful. With each dreaded repair I miss Kens more and more, I never realized how hard it is to find a decent mechanic! The things I miss most about Kens: 1. Competitive prices- accurate estimates. 2. Great staff- always friendly and honest. 3. Good repairs- in 12 years of going there, they never screwed up a repair. My only gripe is that it can take a while to get in, probably because everybody loves this place.

Early 2013 my wife had a bad experience here. but ownership and mechanics have changed. We had a…read moreToyota Rav4 that got some diesel in the tank from stored gas cans at our home. we were reluctant based on our previous experience. However, the locals on the NextDoor app recommended Hiro Automotive, Hansville Automotive and the dealership in Bremerton. Noteworthy is that the vast majority recommended Hansville AR and not one said to stay away. All referrals had great things to say about Hansville AR, especially how good they were in explaining issues, advice and suggestions for DIY repairs and all around good customer service with "Fair" pricing (everyone is entitled to make a buck, just not to gouge) We called Hiro auto which specializes in Japanese vehicles stated they were not equipped to drain a gas tank. This is not a bad review of Hiro, just that it seems odd an auto repair would not be "Equipped" to drain a gas tank. Called the dealership that cited 5 hrs to drain & clean the tank at $125/hr. So we bit the bullet, reluctantly called Hansville A.R. and talked to Steven. He was polite, well spoken and not only confirmed a lot of the things we already knew, but added to our knowledge, walked us through exactly what he would do and indicated it should only take 1.5-2hrs to drain the tank and determine if anything was damaged at $100/hr. We decided to "chance it" and have AAA tow it over. When Phil the driver of the AAA truck showed up we asked him if he had any experience with Hansville A.R. and his comment was that he did not personally but that "since they got a new mechanic a few years ago" (bingo) he has heard nothing but good things and that he really knows his stuff. My official Review: We had the vehicle towed over at 1pm on Thursday, Steven said he was busy but knowing it was our All Wheel Drive vehicle and the largest snow storm in decades was supposed to hit Friday afternoon said he would do his best to get it to us as quickly as possible. I called at 4:45 and he said he had just started draining the tank and that his initial assessment was that there did not appear to be any damage, and that he could have us done and ready by 10am Friday as long as there were no surprises. At 9:30 am Friday I get a call from Steven who says he has had the car running for about 20 minutes on the fresh gas (we supplied one of our "correct" gas cans) and that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. $216 including tax........ Less than 24 hr service time, excellent communication, on time repair, no up-selling or "you really should....." comments and got us home before the storm hit. Hansville AR will handle all our non-warranty automotive repairs in the future. Thanks Steven

After a week I picked up vehicle, payed $1,300, and upon driving away all of the lights came on. After bringing it back I feel they changed the story to, they have to replace the ABS module to keep all the lights off. With that in mind, we started hearing a thumping noise but couldn't figure out where it was coming from so, decided to take the truck into a mechanic. We called, they said they could look at it right away so, in we went. In cases like this (many documented) tell the tale of dishonest and incompetent mechanics, looking to make fortune of your misfortune. As a consumer, I feel like Diogenes with his lantern looking for a honest man. From the first call to paying the bill, they treated us professionally. The mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the issue (after a tire rotation before we left, the company in our hometown did not tighten one of the wheels). They found the issue, repaired it, recorded and sent the video file to me for proof of work. Honesty and competence seem to be in short supply in the current times, Demuner Auto Repair and their employees are an example of what an auto repair facility should be like ...honest and competent.
