Aaron responded promptly when called. He took his time trouble-shooting various possible solutions, and came up with a simple, inexpensive plan. He returned today and did the job in a couple of hours, including welding, and then stuck around and assisted me in load testing of the crane. Crane works and stows beautifully. SO, Aaron did not only did excellent work, but brainstormed with me for a solution unique to my circumstances. I will be hiring Aaron again soon for some other projects, he was very easy to work with, and stayed within his estimate which was reasonable to begin with.

On the key drop envelope it asks the services you want and a maximum price you are willing to pay. I got an estimate a couple months prior and saved up for the items i needed. The estimates were about $900. On the envelope i made sure to write "call me if its over $1000" because i understand inflations been crazy. i get off work and no one calls me so i give them a call and they say the price is $2100 Plus a 3% credit card fee. They obviously ignored my message on the envelope even though they require you to fill out the envelope for the key drop. I had to argue them down and still ended up paying $1600. I thought they were nice dudes and maybe it was a misunderstanding but still felt shady and i overpaid on things i would have just did myself over the weekend if i new their real prices. Would not recommend.

On April 12, 2024 I took my Subaru to Ken's Northwest Automotive. It was due for a regular…read moreservicing, and they had previously recommended replacing the front brake pads. Also, the alternator light had come on. They changed oil and topped off the fluids ($71.95). They tightened the fan belt to prevent the alternator light from coming on (87.50), and installed new front brake pads ($269.00). They also resurfaced the front rotors ($60.00 and installed new windshield wiper blades at ($49.90). I picked up the car just before their shop closed, stopped for groceries, and drove home. The generator light came on AND STAYED ON. There are several traffic lights on the 17 mile drive home, and each time I slowed to observe the red lights, the front BRAKES VIBRATED to the point that the steering wheel shook. And no, that wasn't a malfunction in the ABS. I would have been ok with wiper REFILLS, but they installed large Rain-x WIPER BLADES, which would look fine on a GMC 4X4, but not on a small Subaru. I had not requested wiper replacement, and they never called to ok the charge. The following morning, the car wouldn't start. I ordered a new alternator from NAPA, it was delivered in about three days, and I installed it myself. No more alternator light. The car is driveable, but health issues prevented me from addressing the brakes until now. Thankfully, I have an old clunker that I could use. I have an appointment with the Subaru Dealership (34 miles) next week. I figure the Dealership is more inclined to be accountable for their work. They may be able to order OE wiper blades. The total bill on this visit was over $600.00. The only part of this repair visit that didn't BACKFIRE was the oil change. Pretty high price for just an oil change. Tightening the fan belt accomplished NOTHING. And I don't believe they resurfaced the rotors. I'll never return to Ken's Northwest Automotive. This was the WORST experience I've ever had at any repair facility in my life. Apparently the technician didn't THINK to test the alternator. And the brakes? What if someone leaves Ken's shop to pick up their kids at school, and drive through a school zone?? With defective brakes? Admittedly, that's an extreme example, but -- WHAT IF? This repair shop has changed in recent years. And not for the better. There's nothing worth recommending about Ken's Northwest Automotive. This was a bad, bad experience.

1st time we took our car there was because we have been taking our car to Hiros (the same location)…read moresince Hiro opened.... then when we got our oil changed, we heard one of our car had funny noise, my husband opened the hood and found a red rag hanging in the engine. Some time later one of our car passed 90,000 mile service, and they quoted us some repair for around$5,700.... I told the guy I have never heard of a Toyota with only 90,000 miles needs that much of repair on engine. We decided to call someone for 2nd opinion, and there were things that were necessary.... and the 2nd person says the repair should only cost $600. Don't think we will go back again. Recently, I got a flat tire over on Bainbridge but live in Kingston. I happened to be in a dead zone on Bainbridge so I couldn't get cell service. It was pouring down rain. I was able to get a tow truck after walking several blocks to get signal. It took the tow truck a while to get to me and my tire was shot. I was soaked and tired and the tow guy got my spare on and told me to go directly to get a new tire. I drove straight to Kitsap Tire at 430pm. (They close at 5 pm). They checked my tire, it wasn't repairable but instead of making me come back and order a new tire. They had a used tire and put it on right away and I was out the door in 15 minutes for only $50.00! I can't recommend Kitsap Tire enough!

My used Jaguar was fixed in one day, with a minimum of fuss, and $1800 cheaper than a local car shop had bid-free loaner car, friendly, and honest. What's not to love?

The process was fine, CJ was our salesman and he was easy to deal with. We paid cash so didn't have any experience with the financing department. A week later the AC quit working, and the check engine light came on. It was running rough and jerking. We took it to our mechanic who said the code indicated a misfiring ignition coil. We were really frustrated and reached out to them. Yes, we knew we had bought a used vehicle and yes we declined the extended warranty. But to have this happen in one week didn't seem right. Jarret from their service department replied and asked us to bring it in. We did, they recharged the AC system and replaced the ignition coil at no charge. So far so good, the AC is working and the truck is running smoothly with no warning lights even after pulling a travel trailer to Ocean Shores and back. So I can recommend this dealer, they stood behind what they sold.
