I was at this car wash after midnight on a Tuesday/Wednesday. My car was really dirty and I was tired of telling myself I would wash it tomorrow. I just left Renown hospital, my husband was admitted. I Yelped "self serve car wash." Looking for something close and I chose this one. When I got there I was a little squeamish about being there (anywhere) that time of night alone but it was well lit, clean and I felt like I was carrying a weapon with each tool I used. They have the pressure washer with several different settings from; tire clean, wheel clean, bug wash, pre soak, pressure wash with soap. There is a soft brush for the soapy clean with a lot of soap. There is a separate tool for the conditioning cycle with plenty of solution. Then back to the pressure washer nozzle for a waxing rinse, and my favorite was the blow dryer. A separate hose to dry my car without using a rag just aim and dry. I also opened my doors and use that blow dryer to blow all the dust out of the inside of my car. It worked really good. My car was clean and dry with very little effort. It was a little pricy but I was having a new experience with 11 settings 4 different tools and plenty of solutions to get the job done well. So the price was well worth it. My experience was epic!! Only four stars Because I did need to use a rag to spot clean some of the bugs off my grill and windshield which blew me away. read more

The Flying Frog Car Wash is do it yourself. It's has great water pressure. Each bay is extra wide & tall allowing work trucks enough room to get the job done without soaking yourself. It's open 24/7.. A really nice feature is the free vacuums.. This is a locally owned business in an established Sparks neighborhood close to I-80.. read more

Easy and no waiting. Just gotta move fast to get every cycle done in 3 minutes. You might spend an extra $1 or $2 for a more complete wash

I can't believe I came back here to wash my truck There was no wax for your vehicle in the sprayer. Also no triple gloss and Their vacuums did not work This isn't the first time it happened to me this is a second time.I would not recommend this place to anybody . I had left a good review, but I just realized that flying frog has been overcharging me on my Visa. It says three dollars to use the sprayer but if you slide your Visa card it will charge you at least 11.75 So I'm changing this review to a negative one read more

It was my first time coming here, and I am from out of town. This was the closest car wash to me from where I was staying. It was late, and I had just come down from the mountain, and my van was caked of dirt and stuff from the snow, of course, and anything else. I wanted to take all this off, and since this place is open 24/7, I ignored the reviews and went to clean my van. When I got there, it was empty; the place looked well-maintained, along with all the bays. When I swiped my card, I did not know how much it would cost, but with the dirt, I figured I would be power spraying down for some time. What I was amazed by was the warm water that was coming out of the host, which was awesome because it helped with the dirt. If I had more time, I would do a complete wash, but I am satisfied I found this place, and the value was not bad. read more

I've been trying to find a reliable car wash but there are many here in Reno/Sparks. Most are self service power wash kind like this one. So without getting too much into the details of what a car wash is - I'll say this. The first time I used this location a month previously the final result wasn't too bad without using the dirty soap scrubber since I just wanted a good wash/rinse only. Fast forward to now and when I got there, only two if the car wash bays were open. Turned out the one I picked was flooded because it's muddy season around here and off roaders wash off all the caked on dirt and grime. The bay floor was so muddy, the power wash just splashed more dirt on my car. Plus since it was flooded, I was unable to pull my car all the way in but unless I wanted to wade through 8 inches of muddy water to wash the front of my car. I think a little bit more maintenance would probably keep the bays open. Plus there was hardly any soap from the power wash and the spot free rinse was hardly that. I had all kinds of spots after the wash. I may or may not be back. read more

I have been taking my cars here for a number of years now but the old man taking care of the property (need to assume it's the owner) is the most miserable person I have ever met. I've had 3 interactions with him and every time he was rude, condescending and ignorant. The last time I backed my vehicle over the vacuum hose and he got all mad. The hose was not lifted off the floor and just there to be run over. I would have apologized but his shaking his head like I was 5 didn't help. I don't know who stuck their thumb.... but he needs to move on. He doesn't have to be nice, just quit being a D. I know he doesn't need my spare change but at this point I can only feel sorry for him for being so miserable all the time. Good luck to anyone who needs to talk to this person. read more

I have been going to this car wash for about 8 years now and I have never had a problem with my experiences. With the expectation of the maintenance fellow that has been very rude to me and my sister the last 3 times we have come. He is extremely disrespectful. I will never go again. Update for the owner. Thank you for your quick response. As a business owner of 2 business I can appreciate you wanting to resolve issues. I did put 2 bags in the trash area pointed out by your manager. Yes, one was very heavy. At that point your attendant came to me asking "what the hell is in that bag?!". I told him I didn't know because I had rented out my RV. He looked at it and said it was my burner tarp. I immediately apologized and told him I would take it back. He then started making rude comments, So much so that after he brought the bag back, another customer came over to help me load it. He told me that he didn't know why the attendant didn't just ask me to wash it off down the bay drain like he had done. Apparently this was such an issue to the attendant that he brought it up as defense for his rude behavior. Also, the hose was not tangled up in my ladder. My windows were rolled down. I had no radio on. I did not start moving causing your attendant to "jump out of the way". Finally... " the manner in which tried to avoid damage to our equipment made you uncomfortable and leaving feeling upset." ??!! Your attendant was verbally abusive. It is obvious that he was angry because I tried to put a bag of garbage in the garbage area that was very heavy. He assumed I was lying to him about knowing the contents and said as much. I have a rental business where I rent vehicle both cars and RV's. It's a small business and I do all the cleaning and prep by myself. This was my first time with a burning man rental. I definitely have learned a lesson for next year. I do not want a refund because I was able to do what I needed to do. I needed a service and you provided that service. It is very apparent by your response that this treatment by your attendant is something you condone, so I will choose a different facility next time. The caretaker/ owner? is the most miserable, angry, hate filled person I have ever witnessed. As I was exiting the wash area, I was barely moving. I literally had my foot on the break and creeping along. I could hear him yelling "SLOW DOWN" and then screaming it. I was going so slow, I couldn't imagine that he was yelling at me. As I was looking in my mirror to see if he was yelling at me, the side of my RV lightly... and I mean barely brushed the vacuum hose that had been left hanging down by someone else. I immediately stopped to make sure I hadn't damaged anything. At that point, he walked over and put the vacuum hose where it should've been in the first place and then decided that he needed to call me an ASSHOLE and DUMB BITCH. At that point, I got out of my RV, and walked over to him. I told him that I was very sorry. He just continued yelling. I politely told him that I was sorry I upset him and that I didn't intentionally try to make him angry, but there was no reason for him to be yelling and name calling. He told me that I shouldn't be driving an RV and to get the hell out. Nothing I said was going to matter so I just left. I don't expect this to change anything. This old man appears to be the owner so I doubt anything will come of this. But I would like to say that I hope this man eventually finds some peace and joy in his life because all his actions show is that he is truly miserable, and that is a very sad existence. read more

1) the vacuums are ripped off half the time 2) vending machine is often broken Finally for the main concern: 3) NO EXAGGERATION, I pulled in by a vacuum, to dump my trash. Soon, I was approached by 2 girls (under 18), who both started talking to me saying how "old I was" and how "I looked like I was 30" . I was genuinely confused as to WHY they even cared about me, or my use of the vacuum. I went along w my business and didn't think two teenage girls would do much beside try hurting my feelings with some garbage, half-baked, insults. So, still listening and looking confused, I got out to throw my trash away. This is when one of the girls - with one really long white acrylic middle finger - came around to my side of the car; she grabbed my hair, pulled me down and started PUNCHING MY HEAD. I was very confused for a solid 30 seconds. But, because I'm not an animal, I let the poor, angry and deranged little thing have at it, I knew they were young so I didn't want to fight back or get arrested for child abuse or whatever. But she didn't stop, and eventually I had to throw the girl off me to get her to stop and to release her iron fist that was pulling my hair. I mean... I know teenage angst, but I never had the urge to beat up strangers for not using a vacuum. If I did, I never acted on it . The girls took off and, oddly, didn't even use the vacuum - their excuse for being there in the first place. Idk who these girls were. I'm not going back to this Carwash, because I have a feeling they live nearby and probably cause mayhem whenever they like. The police said their was nothing they could really do, despite me having a plate # and car make, model and year. I'm not the type to press the issue . (Obviously these 2 girls have some MUCH bigger issues that juvie will only add fuel to) The reason I'm yelping this: so anyone not used to this area can avoid or take caution. Cops don't do much, and people do what they want. Also, the Sparkians aren't all that helpful or kind. There were 2 other people using the other vacuums, watching this happen. No one said a word, no one even asked if I was ok after. I couldn't gotten mugged or stabbed and no one would've bat an eye. And finally, a slight concern, the owners put up signs saying "24/7 surveillance". So.. did they also just watch that happen and not even TRY to follow up? The car wash is friendly place. The staff came up asked if they how I was doing and if they could help. The manager Frankie asked if there was anything wrong I said no. The car wash was clean. I have drove pasted and I have seen it trashed by bums put then clean it up fast. I give them thumbs up for dealing with vandalism and bums trashing it for no reason. My favorite car wash in Sparks. The outside is always clean, never too busy, and I can get my car clean to how I like it. They have a machine for air fresheners and car wipes which is super helpful..Wish I could get change or cash back though. read more
