One of my favorite things about this location is that it's almost never crowded. I don't feel rushed, I can take my time, and everything is always working properly. The equipment is reliable, the space feels clean, and I always feel safe while I'm there. The best part though? They play music and it's actually good music. It makes the whole experience way more fun than you'd expect from a car wash. It's in a convenient location, it's affordable, and I can usually get my entire car done for $10 or less. While I occasionally go to the full service places, I honestly prefer doing it myself. There's something really calming and satisfying about it.

I, unfortunately, never received a call and once midnight hit, I decided to drive down, grab my keys, pay, and drive to vegas to drop it off at the rental place with just enough time to make my flight back to reno. I pull up and see my rv. Nice and clean. I go up to see if anyone can get me the keys and process the payment. No keys can be found. We try and call the person I dropped them off with and no answer. Nick and I were able to come to an agreement. I would come back in the morning when the keys would be back and if the rental place wouldn't waive the late fee, Nick would reimburse me along with the price of my missed flight. Nick gave me his word and we shook on it. I return in the morning. Nick had the keys in hand and we worked out the payment. The rental did not waive the fee but Nick kept his word and upon my return to Reno, sent me the reimbursement. I highly recommend you get services done here. It also took way longer than originally agreed after deposit was paid 7 weeks and then we got charged nearly double the estimated time--which threw off our schedule and forced me to spend even more to have the job redone correctly. If you bring your car to get it washed or detailed and Tony or his guys are working on someone else's car...use common sense and get their attention so they can address your questions or concerns. This is a true locally owned and operated car wash and detail business. When the Magic Crew is working on a 150k Porsche they are not going to stop work and talk to you, they are in the middle of a job. If you go to a doctors office it's the same concept. The doctor doesn't just stop his business when treating a patient to answer your questions. YOU have to wait your turn or make an appointment!!! Serious people with serious vehicles visit Mr Magic. You can frequently see multiple 100k plus cars being washed at Mr Magic wash or being detailed. Thanks for working hard Magic crew, see you in 2020. The most recent time I came in I was able to have the full service and had them power wash the floor mats (extra $5). In comparison to the previous Hutch's it seemed more expensive (even more so than some places I've gone to in CA). They told me it could be an hour or more, which wasn't great but I had some time. It ended up taking closer to 30-40 mins. Overall it was fine. They did a good job but still felt it was pricey.

Once a solid 4 star operation has now dropped down to just a 3. Remembering, you get what you pay…read morefor, prices have gone up from $4 to $5 for the basic drive through car wash. The maintenance problems continue and have become severe. In the past, It was almost always 1 of the 2 credit card machines was not working or at best, would not take a Discover Card as advertised. Now, at least when I visit, 1 of the 2 car washes itself are not oprational at all. This past week, when Reno's major snowstorm finally cleared, the entire operation was not working. It's a shame because they're location is so convenient, right at 5th and Keystone just off of I-80. My hope is management will remember there is new competition in the area and customers will only be pushed so far.
