Updating review to 5 stars. It is due for a refresh as this new state of the art car wash is even better. The tire dressing applicator is doing much better now and doesnt splatter over the car as it did in the past. Been going to this place over the past year when my cars need a wash. Came by today and the found they even have something cool for lucky winners who get a free car wash. Fastest, most thorough car wash in town for reasonable price. read more

So with Hutch's Car Wash closing, I was looking for something closer to home, and I saw Scrubbs and pulled in. Not sure if they have a menu, I got the $24 wash. There were two attendants who sprayed the back and front bumper really well and helped guide the car into the wash. As the car entered, I was given a cute little air freshener. I usually decline those, but this one (Ocean fragrance) smelled really good. The brushes that scrub your car were super clean as was the entire car wash . Then, the vacuum stations were the best part. No extra cost and supplied with the softest, cleanest towels. The even have a clip that can hold your mats so you can totally vacuum up every little crumb. The bottled cleaner spray washed my dashboard, interior doors and windows (filled with dog nose marks) beautifully. They had a dirty towel bin and a trash bin at every station. It was super hot, and I still got done with my very neglected car in 20 minutes. When you have the right tools at hand, the job goes fast. This will definitely be my go-to place for car washes. read more

Scrubbs Car Wash - Scrubbs car wash entrance - Car Wash Near Me - Reno, Nevada

1st timer here the other day . I didn't get more pics I should have. Next time. Service was great the young lady helped me with my options since it was my first time and also showed me the monthly prices as well. I got the $16 which included Lava Bath , undercarriage , wheel cleaner & clear coat. It came out nice, seems to go a little slower than other car wash I have been to really get it clean . When you come out lots of spaces to vacuum and wipe down . Towels are available at station, vacuums are nice and strong and air nozzles are very strong as well. They had glass cleaner and I think a spray for interior to wipe down as well along with dash wipes. Lots of options which is really nice. I would go back and possibly change over to here for my monthly that I do at another . Enjoy !!!! read more

Scrubbs Car Wash - Going thru - Car Wash Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Scrubbs Car Wash is one of the better car washes I've tried in the Reno/Sparks area. The price is right, it is quick and is centrally located. The two beefs I have is that it is closed on Sunday's and it doesn't do a good job in drying your car. Aside from that, it is a good place to clean your car. read more

I was dumbfounded. I pulled up in my Jeep, barely any mud near the tires, and they turned me away, told me to go find somewhere to hose off my Jeep before coming back (at least they were nice about it, almost apologetic). Why would I do that? I then went to Buggy Bath. Anyway, they're able to run their business any way they want, but isn't this a carwash? Evidently not the sort of carwash I need in my life. read more

The best carwash in Reno!!! The owners are the sweetest, they go above and beyond. The husband got on ground and got all the paint off my car from driving through new lines are the road. I also love that each vacuume spot gets towels, glass cleaner, and interior cleaner. I do the unlimited monthly and it's so worth it, 2 washes and it more than pays for its self! read more

I wasn't real happy with the last place that we were using as a car wash monthly subscription service. I called Scrubb's and spoke with Julie. She was so pleasant sounding and nice on the phone. I told her my situation and let her know I wasn't happy with my current car wash. Asked her if we could possibly do a trial to see how the car wash did on my vehicle prior to setting up a monthly subscription. After my car wash, I was so pleased I couldn't believe how much cleaner my car was from our previous experiences. I immediately went in in person and spoke to Julie and got subscriptions for both our cars. Additionally, it was very nice to know that they offer a veteran discount. Which was nice. To this day they continue to make improvements to their car wash. They have a wonderful detailing area with vacuums, rags cleaners, garbage cans, and let me tell you, the vacuum are very strong at sucking up all your dirty carpets. You can't beat their wash and their prices are very competitive. Trust me! Come see Julie and get a monthly membership. You won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped in here today for a car wash and they were doing a soft opening with free car washes! When I got up to the nice lady, Julie, she explained the pricing. When she tried to open the arm to let me through the touch screen froze! She felt so bad... she called someone over to help and open the arm. The wash was one of the best I have had! Probably doesn't hurt that that the equipment is new! All of the people working there were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! read more

delightful experience from start to finish! The car wash was very speedy and the vacuum station offered many add-ons like spray wipes, smaller vacuum, vacuums, and take away dashboard cleaners. Having a car wash not attached to a gas station is a big plus in my book. Those drive through car washes aren't all that great. But right past S. Meadows Pkwy exit. Another stand alone car wash in S. Reno by the Damonte Ranch exit is Scrubbs car wash. You can sign up for any of their car wash plans for only $9.99 for the first month so you can see which package is for you. They even have a floor mat clip so you can vacuum the spots under the floor mats and clean the mats while it's clipped outside. They also hand you a microfiber towel, dash wipe and an air freshener as well. That was a perk that I enjoyed at my previous car wash by Winco but they stopped giving out air freshener vent clips for members since last year. Hence, why I cancelled my subscription w/ them. Overall, it's a nice new car wash, friendly staff that greets you as you drive up and it's closer to my . Had the pleasure of meeting "Scrubbs", the canine mascot as well. read more

Absolutely GLAMOROUS service, a young man who introduced himself as Noah made such interesting conversation, telling me about super niche and awesome hiking spots and even told me about secret beaches in Tahoe. After I left, I inspected my beautiful grey Hyundai Sonata 2006 and it was sparkly clean, (when I tell you it SPARKED) not a SINGLE SPECK of dirt or grime. He even got the sticky stuff off the back windshield for me. What a fantastic employee you have there. #shoutoutnoah read more

5 Stars I don't usually switch car washes, but Scrubs Car Wash in South Reno won me over--and fast. The quality of the wash is excellent, and the amenities are a game changer: super strong vacuums and blowers, free microfiber towels, plus glass and all-purpose cleaners available at every station. It's never been easier to get that detailed, showroom finish inside and out. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They genuinely care. I drive an Audi Q5 Sport with a rear spoiler that other washes always miss--but the Scrubs crew gave it a thorough pre-wash before it even went through the tunnel. That kind of service is rare. Bonus: If you're lucky, you'll meet Scrubs, the friendly four-legged mascot who makes the experience even better. Highly recommend--conveniently located right across from Walmart in South Reno. Give them a try! read more

Great carwash. The kids who greet you are kind and hard working. They provide the vacuum, glass cleaner, and small towels. I would definitely come back. read more

All of the employees working at Scrubbs are very helpful and friendly. I accidentally locked myself out of my daughter's car while cleaning it, and they looked up the AAA number for me and let me use their office phone because my purse and phone were locked in the car. They even gave me a cup of cold water while I was waiting for AAA to arrive on a hot summer day. I will definitely continue to go to Scrubbs for both exterior and interior vehicle cleaning needs. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here randomly for a wash and were so pleasantly surprised! The employees literally ran to greet us and explain wash options as it was our first time. We got the top of the line wash for $24 because it was touchless. They sprayed down the car before we went in and gave us an air freshener, dash wipe, and towel to dry the car. The vaccuums are free and you're provided a spray cleaner, glass cleaner, and more towels to use! Super awesome experience read more

Great car wash, they have all the bells and whistles to clean your car. The staff is welcoming. Valve for your bucks

This place is always amazing! The staff is so friendly chasing me around to make sure I have everything I need. I was even given an otter pop today in the heat to keep me cool while I vacuumed my car. The price is reasonable and I think for a machine wash it does the job just fine. If I could give one recommendation - I believe the spray bottles are a little cheap. I often have to go around to other stations to find a spray bottle that's working properly or not leaking everywhere. I think this problem can be fixed easily with a little more upfront cost for the spray bottle quality. I could see this being cost-effective for the car wash as they won't be replacing bottles as often and the customer will have a better experience! You guys are the best! read more

Needed to wash the plethora of bugs off of the front of my car from traveling to Reno, decided to come here and give Scrubbs a try. I asked the attendant if they could get them off, they "scrubbed" the front of my car before it went through the conveyor. No pun intended. Not only were they really nice, but my car was perfectly clean and I got to vacuum it and the supply of fresh towels and cleaners was appreciated. Price is good for what you get, if I lived here, this would definitely be my car wash stop for sure! Highly recommend! read more

Scrubs doesn't like people who go to burning man, including thousands of people from Reno; don't go there. Someone who actually thinks about the consequences of their actions might have written "No dusty cars - sorry!" This sign means "people who enjoy burning man can go away". That includes me, looking to wash my very nice, never-been-to-playa car. Never spending at dime at Scrubb's again. I suggest they reexamine what they say and how they say it. -- after reading her answer, it's clear she can't tell the difference between "people who go to burning man" and "cars that have been to burning man" which is the point of my complaint as a former regular customer. The entire answer sort of Reads like "of all the things that never happened, this has never happened at all". People who have been out there know it isn't said at all - it's dust. Very fine dust. And I'm unconvinced this person has any interest whatsoever ever in being precise or understanding the language she is using. Which is fine. - I didn't use the wash today and I won't come back after washing here once a month since this spring. read more

Scrubbs Car Wash - A picture of me, a Burner along with my car that's never been to Burning Man. I live in Reno and Scrubb's doesn't want my business. - Car Wash Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I had a problem with a gift card when I went to the wash. The card wasn't operational. Juli, the manager, was super nice and very helpful in getting the problem resolved, which at one point, entailed calling her headquarters. She bent over backwards, in my opinion, to fix this. Another big plus is the quality of wash and cleaning amenities that I got. I'm not going to any other car wash in the future. And there are other choices in Reno. read more

Visited 12/6/2025 Truly a one-stop car wash. It's not for everyone just for people who actually want to enjoy the experience. Great customer service from start to finish. Jake greeted me and clearly explained the services; I honestly thought he was the owner or part of ownership. The company should be proud to have him representing them. The amenities are excellent and offer great value for everything you get: clean car mats for $5, microfiber cleaning rags, strong vacuum suction, window cleaning solution, air freshener, and compressed air to clean tight spots inside the car. There was even a kind woman offering pastries. I was just visiting the area, but this is a great concept backed by equally great customer service. My car was clean when I left. Thank you. read more

Nice set up. New facility with towels. Helpful staff. Conveniently located near Walmart and Maverick.

Scrubbs is a newer car wash that is neither full-service nor bare bones but somewhere in between. When you roll up to the kiosk, you can select the level of wash and usually someone will come up to help you as well. The attendants will do a pre-wash as you enter the car wash and give you a microfiber cleaning cloth and dash wipe. The prices do seem higher than a bare bones, no attendant wash, but the vacuums are free of charge (and strong), and they provide more microfiber cloths and a general cleaning solution and window cleaner at each vacuum station. I appreciate being able to take my time with vacuuming versus rushing before the time runs out. The last time I think I got the top level wash and my car looked so shiny and new. It still looks great after a week! The manager is also super kind. She offered frozen otter pops to my two little ones, which was much appreciated on a hot summer day. I would consider getting a membership if I lived or worked in South Reno. read more

State of the art car wash. Awesome friendly service. They provide microfiber towels, an air freshener and a dash wipe. I personally use the touch-less option for wash which is great. Today before I headed in they swept out the bed of my truck from some light sand I had from Tahoe. After you pull through you have the " self detail" area which has high powered air to blow off and out anything you need. The additional microfiber towels and complimentary glass and surface cleaners are also a great touch! Awesome addition for South Reno! Appreciate you guys and the service provided! read more
