We came in a few weeks ago for seasonal rentals and the guy that helped up was amazing and helped my little brother like he was his own. We had a gal help us in helmets and found us a good one for my little brother that he could grow into as well. I went in earlier this week to try on some boots and to get feedback on a pair I had to buy online. The gentleman helping me was amazing and super helpful in letting me know the ones I got were not suitable for my calf type and helped me find a very comfortable new ski boot. Overall this store is great and I love having it so close!

We were prepared to pay for parking and entrance to the park as per the instructions on the website. Today it was free which was nice. The drive through the entrance to the parking lot was scenic and well marked. At the lake we met Grace and Wes who outfitted us with life jackets and made sure we knew where to go. We also saw a map of where not to go. They are asking for people to not go near the dam, but that wasn't an issue as there is a ton of open space to explore. The lake was quiet, scenic, and beautiful! Without jetskis, boats, etc we were able to hear birds and fish jumping in the water. The sounds of nature really made it seem like an escape that would only be experienced much further away. The two hours flew by, and we are already planning another trip back. Awesome morning 5 minutes away from Parker.
