The building and the surrounding property is absolutely gorgeous. It's in Ken Caryl which is a very nice upper middle class area. Lots of trees and beautiful homes. The inside of the building is even more stunning than the outside. It's the perfect venue for weddings and wedding receptions. The entire place must be Christmas heaven during the holidays. I can easily picture it decorated with trees and lights. The craft show was quite good and I'll be attending the next one.

I picked up a new reel since we were fishing the next day at a very reasonable price along with some various other items so the grandson could fish while his reel was being repaired. When I got back in town I headed back to pick up a 2nd rod and the same helpful staff member who helped me with repairs on the first reel was there and once again impressed me with her knowledge of fishing rods. My grandson is 9 and still learning to fish so she set him up with a balanced rod to go with the previously repaired reel. A great Eagle Claw Featherlight, great sensitivity and easy for him to handle, and most of all very reasonably priced. I am a big fan of local small businesses and will always support them, everything in the store was reasonably priced and well stocked. I booked a tee time through GolfNow for this little executive course that is advertised as "great…read morefor kids." I had my son looking forward to playing golf all week to be greeted by a proShop that almost refused to let us play. After going back and forth and me begging to play after driving an hour and a half to be on time to a 6:15 tee time, they agreed to let us play. On our way out of the proShop we were tough talked and told we would be removed from the course if we held up pace of play and golf etiquette(I shot even par don't talk to me about etiquette) We of course had a blast when we were out there so well done to the greens keeper! After the round we sat and had some food and a lemonade. I watched one of the staff come and publicly dress down a group for playing behind pace. The pace got screwed up at the beginning of the day as we were waiting on every shot first thing in the morning. If you are going to run an executive course- you designed it for beginners. That is why I was there with my kid and many others were with their kid. I would understand if I were at BearDance and beginners were out there and holding up pace of play but not at the links in HR. I obviously won't be back even though my dad and I played the course when I was growing up. Golf is a generational game you guys could try embracing that instead of turning folks off from the game. Lastly, fix the way you advertise your rates. They charged me $180 for myself, my kid and a cart. Website and golf now say otherwise. Very disappointing experience especially since my son and I have played on much nicer courses and have been treated MUCH better.

Putting green and chipping area is good. Then the course is in poor condition. The tee boxes are in poor condition and the management isn't trying to make it better. The play is slow the last couple of weeks taking 5 hours a round on a course that is supposed to be played in less than 4 hours. Now the course is a 3 1/2 hours normally. There use to be marshals but they got new carts with screens so there's a lot of restrictions and no Marshalls and that is disappointing because the management has no control of the course and there 6 people in a tiny pro shop. The disappointment doesn't end there-the management and pro shop can have an unfriendly attitude if you complain about anything. It doesn't matter to them about people hitting up on you or making you sit ten to fifteen minutes on a hole. The cart and food is also very disappointing as well. The cart barely has anything and my Reese's cup was expired. Maybe the management should spend some time at the course and spend some of that money on the course too. All in total a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT For the money they charge-even ;in the winter when the grass is brown and when the bathrooms are closed and equipment is not out it is the same price.
