Our first attempt to walk into Lee Douglas was railroaded by our perception that this business was…read moremore consulting than furniture; consulting/designing wasn't what we needed. So we bypassed it and went into The Loft around the corner! (Read my review on The Loft. An amazing place that I just want to soak in!) At the Loft we were referred to Lee Douglas, "if you love us, step next door to our sister company and be amazed". So we walked around the corner and into an amazingly well set up space. Usually furniture stores are wide open spaces with scads of couches, chairs etc that one has to pull their creativity together. At Lee Douglas they stage furniture that provides a homey comfort feel. The furniture is beautiful and unique. Clients do have the opportunity to customize with the wide variety of fabrics, colors and they have wallpaper. The real gem is with Brenda!! She was fabulous!! She has a warm greeting meeting us as we walked in. Asked great questions and shared some wonderful guidance. The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is that we haven't actually purchased anything yet to assess the quality after some use. However I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next piece from them! Recommend you stop in and ask for Brenda. She won't disappoint!!

Both times people in the store completely ignored me until I indicated I wanted to make a purchase. I purchased a cabinet for $2300 a week ago and again I had to go and ask for help. My cabinet was delivered on time by two very courteous men. I haven't heard anything from the sales person to see if everything was correct. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone nor will I be shopping there in the future.
