Great antique store! I could spend days here, there are so many booths and great finds. 100% recommend!

We planned a short day trip from Des Moines IA to Lincoln NE on July 5th with stops in Omaha NE and Council Bluffs IA on our way home... We love to hit antique shops, antique malls, thrift, and consignment shops. Platte Valley Antique Mall, Cafe & Pub in nearby Greenwood NE was probably our favorite stop. Followed closely by Vintage Village Antique Mall, Aardvark Antiques, Burlington Antiques, and Timeless Treasures in Lincoln NE. All of these shops are worth stopping at and checking out! We really didn't get to Omaha NE itself, but there's always next time...! We only ran into one shop that we would not recommend. Lake Manawa Antiques in Councill Bluffs IA... Look it up. They treat customers as though they're going to steal the store empty and require you to put your purse in a locker. If you don't they will literally chase you down and create a scene to make you put your purse in a locker. Used to be a good antique mall, but it's become more of a flea market type atmosphere. read more

I went to this store yesterday . I've been many times , I was looking for a shopping cart to hold onto. The sales check ask what I was looking for, I said a shopping cart, and replied we don't use those here and you will have to lock up your purse . I said I've never had to lock up my purse before, it's not a big purse. Had it in here last month. Told them they could check it when I left . My biggest problem was how rude the older blonde lady was, and I think my big coat she could have ask to hang up. That's more than a problem then a medium size handbag. I would not recommend this place anymore, especially for this 64 year old to be treated like this after she ask what I was looking for. Her voice was rude , Nicki the other sales clerk was nicer . This was Sunday around 10:30 am. So it's not like they had a bad day . read more

There are some cool gems here but mostly everything looks newer than what I would consider antiques. Staff wasn't very friendly at least not to me. This is a hidden gem of a place. If you like Antiques this place is for you. You just never know what you will find with so many different vendors under one roof. For me it's worth the drive from Omaha area to Lincoln every 2 to 3 weeks. Almost hate giving it away to other buyers of antiques but it is a fun time looking and buying those treasures. read more

They are scamming dealers. They alter the price tags at a higher amount and sell at a higher amount without crediting the dealer. Items also don't sell at too high a price and the dealer has to pay rent to display overpriced items that was more than what the dealer priced it. read more

Very impressive well organized mall. It took us almost 2 hours to see everything and we found many great items. I liked the idea of lockers to put your purse or bags in so your hands are free. We found many great items that you can't find in Utah. read more

The staff​ here is incredibly helpful, they have convenient​ little doorbell​ ringers to alert staff if you'd like to see​​ an​ item in display or need help getting a item. I've shopped here multiple times and each time there is new items! You definitely​ need plenty of time to wander the store and dig through really cool stuff, since the mall has different vendors prices vary by individual booths. Would recommend stopping by to pick up some Husker memorabilia! read more

Beware: Lots and lots of reproductions-few marked as repro. When you tell the staff this they act surprised, doubtful and disinterested which means they are either COMPLETELY ignorant about antiques or intentionally dishonest! Reproduction Roseville, Hazel Atlas, depression glass, Hall and more. I thought more than 50% of their stuff was unmarked repro. I'm never going back! read more

Beautiful mall, well laid out with great displays, clean and well organized, nice aisles, easy access and plenty of parking. Prices were mostly reasonable. BUT......... NO ONE smiles, no one is friendly or welcoming, no one offers to help in any way, they *barely* speak when you go up to pay. I'm quite certain none of the staff has ever heard the words "customer service" and they certainly don't give any importance to being friendly. While the mall makes me want to return, I believe we'll give our business to the other antique stores who, by their behavior, show they want our business so much more. read more

As far as antique malls are concerned, this is quite possible as perfect as one can hope. It is an excellent balance of dirty and clean, with prices well marked but still enough stacks of mystery that you feel satisfied by the hunt. The entirety of the mall is composed of different vendors, yet they all seem aware of each other as far as pricing is concerned. I collect one type of glassware and while I felt the price they had marked was a bit high for the so-so quality of the pieces, it was consistent across vendors. I had company in from out of town the weekend that I visited. This visit amazingly corresponded with Aardvarks' Anniversary Celebration! That means they had complimentary coffee, punch, sheet cake and a little nut mix set up at the snack area. And balloons and crepe paper. This also meant trivia over the loudspeaker. Pretty much the only way to make an afternoon of mindless antiquing more fun, is to pair it with loudspeaker trivia. So, about every half hour a lady would come over the intercom and announce the trivia question. If you knew the answer, you were encouraged to come to the front of the warehouse, write the answer and your name on a slip of paper and enter it into the drawing. Great fun, although I never one won. In addition to the novelty and sheer size of the space, this business itself was run very smoothly. While we were shopping, an attendant came and offered to take some things we had picked up for purchase. They held these items at the front of the store so we wouldn't have to carry them while we continued browsing. Also, the check out procedure is very efficient. One lady rang up our treasures while another gentleman carefully and meticulously wrapped and bagged them. There was also hand sanitiser at the checkouts and the paper bag that our goods were handed to us in was hand stamped with an aardvark. That's classy! If you a fave a few hours to kill, make the drive north to check out this place, it will be worth it even if you somehow don't find that little bit of something you never knew you needed. read more

I followed my husband into this mall. I had my handbag over my shoulder and a worker approached me. 'We do not allow purses in here. You can put it in a lock box or put it in your car.' We were on a trip so I was carrying my jewelry and cash. I was wiling to do neither and so I left to sit in the car while my husband was free to shop. They probably missed a sale or two as I have been a dealer for 35 years and have never stolen a thing in all of those years. I will not return. read more

Beware. The front desk attendant will actually chase you down and demand that even the smallest purse be left in a locker! They also now have "no guns" signs on the door. I have been to over 100 antique stores all over the country and I have NEVER seen another place where customers are required to leave purses in a locker. Must be paranoid management here. read more

Wonderful antique mall! Lots of interesting things to look at, most booths are not so crowded that you can't move, and prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly but not hovering. Best thing: they don't require you to leave your purse in the car or in a locker--but they do have lockers if you choose to use one. The place is very large. They have a seating/snack area at the front so you can rest or relax while others are shopping. We'll definitely be back if in the area again! read more

I've purchased many things here over the years. Vases for my wedding, tea cups, a hutch, and many other things. I found Godzilla posters here. Godzilla posters!! I was ecstatic! Some antique malls let people sell junk but they have taste in what they let people put in their booths which is nice! read more
