Just a glimpse of the glassware

Such a great place for cool antique finds! I stopped in on a whim and definitely look forward to coming back to just browse or to look for something specific. They have a large selection, but the store is still small enough that I felt like I could actually make my way around everything. From what I saw, the prices were also very reasonable compared to other antique/vintage stores. Not quite thrift prices, but very good!! There is furniture, glassware, art, decor, jewelry, and so many cute knickknacks. I bought a handmade birthday card made by one of the owners. The staff were extremely friendly as well; I noticed that they made conversation with everyone. They were actually willing to let me take the card in good faith because I didn't have cash on me at the moment (there is a $5 minimum for credit/debit cards). The parking situation isn't great, but worth it.

    Lovely cabinet.

I visited this cute shop back in February and have been wanting to do a review ever since! I Love this shop! Everything was displayed so you could see it and move around the shop easily. They have a wonderful variety of so many unusual & beautiful things and even some furniture. I love the eclectic look of their shop. The owner was very helpful and friendly; and made me feel very welcome. I will be coming back here again, looking for treasures to decorate my new little place.

I love, LOVE this store. The owner is a hoot to talk to, and his inventory is vast and affordable. I make it an effort to look here every time I'm looking for a new piece as his pieces are HUNDREDS less than other stores, gorgeous, and generally go with the original wood of my 95 year old house. The more you buy, the better the bundle price too! Check this local hidden gem out if you love antiques and unusual curious.

i love love love this place! everything is so cool and the shop owner is so nice. they have a great jewelry selection and a lot of hidden treasures around every corner. this will definitely be a regular place for me.

If you're looking for a collectible and can't find something here...you're not looking hard enough…read more Lol This store is in the Old Market district of Omaha and was almost overwhelming. At points in my life I have collected comic books, other comic book related items, movie related merchandise, and diecast. This place has all that and more...! Shop smart and take your cell phone to stare and compare. I found a few items reasonably priced, but I found quite a few more that were well above what they could be purchased for online including shipping. One thing about collectibles though... Sometimes it's worth a few dollars more to have it in your hands. I've been surprised a few times when I received items that weren't as described or packaging was damaged in transit. Antiques and collectibles are a different market as a buyer... If you see something you want it's better to buy it right then if it's priced within reason. You may never find that same item again... Old Market is what Old Market is... It's geared to tourists and things are often a little high priced in areas like this. So is their rent usually... These areas attract a high volume of people and if you don't want to pay the marked price...someone who comes in right behind you just might. Some of the items here are a little dusty, but I guess that's to be expected with that many surfaces. Pretty hard to stay on top of all of it... The Imaginarium Old Market Mercantile is defintely worth the stop if you are into collectibles and/or nostalgia!

I felt like it was a little overwhelming for my taste, but I could see how if you really liked one of the collections they have how you would be super excited to find this spot.

You gotta go down a side street…read moreyou've probably never taken before, then you've got to go around to the back of the building. But it's worth looking for, as you'll probably find something you didn't know you were looking for. What sets Among Other Things apart from all the other shops selling vintage and consignment stuff for the home is that their collection is well-curated. You won't find cheap craft crap; you'll find cool stuff from throughout the last, oh, 120 years or so. Any of it would look good in a well-appointed home. And thank heavens, they haven't completely jumped on the mid-century trend as most other such places have. From chairs to rugs to cards, there's something here for anyone with good taste. (I picked up a fairly recent photography coffeetable book at a reasonable price.) There's also an adjoining women's vintage clothing store (unfortunately, nothing for guys). While the location might be a little tough to find at first, it's one to put on your radar. (And not far from NFM, so any time you're thinking of visiting them, stop by here, too.)

Especially when you can find comparable items at a thrift store. As a result some items have been there for quite some time. I love that she also carries some local artists' works. But again, overpriced for what they are. The store is quite crowded, I don't think a stroller could fit through some of the walking paths. I worry about bringing my big purse in. Overall, it's a fun place to peruse, but after many visits, I've yet to pull the trigger on buying anything.

If it's that part to that thing sitting in your garage, that your grandpas grandpa left you in the will... the piece to fix it is probably here. I've gotten so many cool thing's from here it's ridiculous. I've left happy every time with a boost of dopamine that nothing can touch, and the token box you get to carry it in isn't all too bad either. I will say they have some items that they label as vintage or simply older. It was weird seeing the same brand of dinner plates labeled as vintage on one of the shelves. The thing I still think about here is the ability to carry around a basket OR place the basket into a metal buggy!
