I love the Russian spa experience because of the cleanliness but I could never find a Korean spa…read morethat was as clean as the Russian spas that I have visited. Now I have found one. New York spa is immaculately clean and the amenities are off the charts. I have gone back again and again and will continue to go. Great place.

The front door explain the entrance fee but when I asked questions about the other services the woman was a little abrupt and rude. I mean whatever I asked she mentioned the fee. I told her I know and I guess she wanted that fee before I realize the massage is really bodywork. I told her it is my first time here. I wanted to leave but stayed because i traveled so far and I wasn't in the mood to find somewhere else. It was my birthday. Anyhow I pay get my uniform go to lockers. I noticed the sign and picture of two thieves and others about lost towel and key fees. Anyway the locker room plays Korean drama and attendants are the ones who sell the other services. I lounged around in the coed area and then tried every steam and sauna for 20 minutes. I walked around in my socks. It was pretty quiet and peaceful . It wasn't full of people either. I go to the front desk to ask if there are slides or slippers. My feet got really hot in the sauna I was wearing socks . One must either be in socks or barefoot. I asked him about the additional services and he said the women in the locker rooms do those. The woman in the locker room are the "masseuse " or "esthetician" in a sense. Before entering the wet room (one removes their spa uniform showers ) before using the jacuzzi steam room and cold plunge. Ok so I decided to get the Korean body scrub and massage. The body scrub was better than the massage. I braced myself each time I was rinsed with water. A basin of water gets thrown on you. The massage included a facial and I appreciate her massaging my stomach where I tend to get fibroids. The facial left my skin glowing . Overall i probably won't go back but i feel encouraged to check out higher end spas and treat myself more. I think these spas are good for sauna unless your gym has one. It was an ok value. You get what you pay for. The skin care is cucumber based.

The facility seems nice but the staff is all over the place. After waiting 1.5 hour in the lobby room, they told us to go to the rooms which were not yet cleaned! We told them that they were used and they took another 30 min to clean and set up. Then when we laid in the room, we waited for another 30 min for a total of 2.5 hours. We had a dinner reservation for mother's Day and had to push it twice to fit this booking in. The worst part is we got zero apologies and when I complained the representative told me to stop asking and go back in the room. They didn't seem to care about our bad experience being so delayed in the least. Totally appaling experience.

The scalp massage itself was great--the staff member who worked on me was skilled, and I felt relaxed throughout the entire process. I also really liked the bathroom decor, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. However, communication was a challenge. None of the staff spoke strong English, and there wasn't any visual guide or video to help explain the scalp analysis. It made it difficult to fully understand the results and recommendations. I ended up purchasing a scalp spray for $40, which I was told was 50% off from $80. I'm not entirely sure how accurate that was, especially after noticing the expiration date is October 2026--it left me a bit unsure about the value. In total, I paid around $180 including tip, which feels quite expensive for the experience. Overall, it's a relaxing treat, but probably more of an occasional self-care splurge rather than something I'd do regularly.

Came today to escape the heat wave that is hitting New York the day before the Fourth of July. I…read moreexpected it to be crowded, but what I didn't expect was basically a kindergarten??? It was impossible to relax in any of the pools available because there were children jumping and screaming and climbing and splashing water all over everyone. The only lifeguard on duty during the afternoon was on his phone giggling THE WHOLE TIME, even when kids were diving in a pool literally 2 feet deep. What I also did not expect was having to wait 40 minutes in line for a drink. There was only one person doing the drink, and then another one coming back and forth from what I found out to be the kitchen upstairs. Counting the people INSIDE the kitchen, cooking, there were a total of 5 people doing food and drinks during a fully booked day at lunch time. Also wasn't prepared to spend $26 + gratuity + tax for a drink (they automatically charge gratuity and then ask if you want to leave a tip lol) ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the place was clean and well kept, even the bathrooms were perfectly clean. Yes, a few hair here and there, but it was expected. The saunas were good and they had a good variety. I don't know if I'll come back during a weekend or festivity, $110pp seems a lot to not being able to relax.

When I was trying to see if it was possible to make an appointment on the same day, the receptionist said I can just pay at the spa, instead of getting a Groupon deal (probably because Groupon takes out some portion as commission). I was really hesitant because I've paid the spa directly before and when the service was terrible, I couldn't get Groupon customer service protection. Since this spa allowed me to split 3 facial package with my husband, I agreed to pay the spa directly. We were 10 minutes late because there just wasn't any parking available around Main Street, but the receptionist was very understanding and said don't worry about being late. Once we got there, we were in a couple room and got changed and got started right away. I had Tina and my husband had Zoe - they were both professional and extraction and décolletage massage was nice. They didn't push us to upgrade the service and my husband and I were so comfortable that we both fell asleep and snored. I definitely had a better product and techniques before and I would rate this place more like 4.5 stars, but since the customer service was great, I'm leaving 5 stars. *Tip: pay in cash because if you use your credit card, tax will be charged.

I came on a groupon, in my search to find my new regular spot, but honestly was rather disappointed. The products used are ok - Keve and Collin - some generic spa stuff (did not see any commercial stuff like Vaseline or other drug store brands, as you might at some other cheap spas). My facial was actually somewhat torturous -- the facial massage is just so rough and not at all relaxing or rejuvenating. I felt like the facialist was trying to force moisture back into my poor dry skin. The extractions were fine, on the properly aggressive side. I HATE that they use razor to do eyebrows - no reason not to pluck, esp as I wasn't that overgrown! I would not return, though packages run from as low as about $35 per facial in a package of 10.

The highlights: - Moderately STRONG pressure and thorough massage technique common among Asian shops but hard to find among American chain shops. I came in towards the end of the day around 7pm and the pressure was fantastic. - Extremely reasonable prices. A full-body deep tissue was around $40 in December 2025. I live in Chicago and consider massages as a once or twice-a-year luxury, but I legitimately dream about flying back to visit Coco Spa. My NYC friends have visited and can attest to the quality. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you have any hesitation, let these hard working folks massage it out at Coco Spa!

Not fun and wasn't the best message due to this. I think it is just common sense to have nails cut if your profession is massage. Then when I was leaving I was told my 20% tip was not good enough and I should tip 35%...are you out of your mind????? Her reasoning was "because this is flushing". I think I will be finding a new spot in the neightborhood.
