My two daughters absolutely love Fluffy Town! We come here pretty often, and they always get excited to see what's new. They have a great variety of plushies in the claw machines, and they're constantly adding new ones. They also have lots of cute squishies and other fun prizes. There aren't many legit claw machine shops in our area but Fluffytown is! They have a 1 stuffy = 10 point conversion which means you can convert your stuffies to get larger or different prizes. The items with ticket numbers on the wall are exchangeable, as well as the prizes in the center of the room (which are some great popmart prizes). Highly recommend a visit if you're nearby. I came across this newly opened claw machine shop while visiting Oakridge Mall and stopped to take a closer look. The plush toys are above average in quality. Compared to other nearby claw machine shops, there are fewer obviously knockoff or low quality plushies, to me that is very important. That said, the price reflects the quality. Each play costs one dollar, which is higher than many other machines in the area. During my visit, there were quite a few kids playing, and the business seemed to be doing well. Overall, this is a decent option if you care about plush quality and do not mind paying a bit more per try. We had an amazing time at Fluffy town this morning! It was our 7 yr olds birthday and she LOVES claw machines, so we found this place and decided to have her birthday party there. We had a group of about 15 kids with their parents. The owner wasn't there but communicated with me via text to plan everything out and had her manager there to help. The manager, Albert, and employees Vanessa and Rith were so helpful! They made sure each kid won a stuffie by moving them around. They were attentive the entire time, walking around and helping all the kids and never seemed annoyed to have a bunch of kids asking them to help. One of my daughter's friends even won a Labubu!! I didn't know claw machine stores existed until one of my son's friends had a birthday party at Claw Meee in Milpitas. This place is a bit smaller, but they have much more "decent/quality" stuffed animals in comparison. The staff does help with better placement, but they aren't as "readily available". After our last failure at a different claw machine company, my friend suggested this location. I'm so glad we went because it is much more fun. The location is small but the prizes are big . We spent $20 and got about 4 prizes. The service was super helpful and patient. They answered all my questions. Each play is $1 and the prizes are actually really cute (Sanrio characters or real characters like bluey). I think it's really cool part is they have a points service. So if you want a bigger prize showcased on their back wall you can give back the prizes you just won for 10 points per prize. The bigger prizes I saw started at 150-200points so it's doable. My kids just didn't want to do it because they loved the smaller prizes the won't already. Even though this place is a bit far for me, I had such a fun experience I Cant wait to go back again. Influenced by social media, I would not have otherwise known this place existed or felt so so so enticed to give this place a try. I brought folks that held me accountable, haha. I spent $20 which led to 22 tokens (I am fully aware the more you spend, the higher the likelihood of winning). Some (I am afraid to say ALL because I don't need vultures coming after me) plushies in the crane/claw machines are from temu, aliexpress, etc (per Google lens). I have been playing crane games since I was a little girl in Taiwan and sometimes nonstop as crane games were/are 10 NT a play. Therefore, I know crane games are not completely payout (although it may feel like it) but can also depend on skill and tricks...like knowing the techniques of how to flick or throw the plushie into the chute. What genuinely compelled me to rate this location as 2 stars was that I may have potentially asked the wrong person for a "fluff." I asked the Caucasian brown haired female who was working the door trying to persuade people to come in to play. She was completely pissed as if someone was going to rob the store (and I only asked for help from her because it was the machine right next to her!) since she asked the two working up front near the cashier to keep an eye out. Understandably the plushies are on the lower end (quality wise) due to expecting customers to accumulate points for better prizes. We spent about $50 and got a total of 3 dolls and one labubu wacky mart box. I do think the machines are a little bit difficult, you get a good grip but then at the top of the crane, it jolts pretty hard and drops the plushie. Overall it was fun & maybe it was a skill issue on our part only getting 3 dolls! Another group also got a labubu wacky mart box while we were there. I heard about some new claw machine place open in the East Side. I decided to yelp claw machine places in San Jose and happen to come across this place which is a lot closer to where I live. I was happy to see all the great reviews specifically on how helpful the workers were in helping with your experience. I decided to give this place a shot and brought my two girls here. This place is located in Oakridge mall next to Auntie Anne's. Walking in, we were greeted and given directions on how to get started. I decided to purchase $50 in which I received 50 tokens + 8 bonus tokens from the machine. They have these cool mini baskets for their coins you can use to carry. There's around a total of 20ish machines (not exact number) fit into this relatively small space. They have a nice variety of stuffed animals. Overall had a good amount of people there and you can feel the buzz of excitement. Based on reviews that I saw, the claw machines did not align on the degree of difficulty and were not as generous as I anticipated. We were one lucky coin away from only walking away with one stuffed animal from the 58 coins we used. My biggest disappointed was that we didn't get to experience the helpful workers that would help reposition the stuffed animals. We did come on a Thursday night close to closing which may have been one of the reasons but their one worker not including the cashier was just standing greeting everyone. Had I not seen the reviews, my expectation would've been different but definitely did not experience what was raved about. In any case, happy that we were able to get one stuffed animal for each of my girls. I will probably stick with Big Al's for now for better value. They told us they can't change our plushies for us if there was a favorite in the machine but can place the one we want on top if we ask.
