At least from what I've seen along my travels. Their breads, pastries, and additional standard bakery-fare are quite nice, as well. But what really stands out to me are the poppy-seed rolls and their lemon-poppy tort cake. Both of which, if microwaved briefly, manage to surpass the already amazing flavor and texture they have if eaten as-is. Check them out. My immediate thought was, this room is bright cheery and smells like Bakery Heaven...I could live here!! I tell her we want 6 Donuts and Calliope chooses first a Cake Donut with Pink Strawberry Icing with Pink & White Sprinkles, I choose 2 Glazed and A chocolate Nut Icing Glazed for my Hubby and my son Chooses a Glaze and for his 2nd a Blueberry Cake Glazed Donut! I was tempted to get a few cookies, whooping Pies and Cupcakes because everything looked so yummy and festive! But I did choose a Canoli and a piece of Baklava! In total it was $19.02 and I left her a tip of $3 in her tip glass! I definitely recommend if you are in the Athens area to swing by. The lady working had wonderful customer service. She was very helpful and cheerful when she found out we are new to this shop. We went home with half dozen, muffin and a canoli. She said everything is baked from their bakery and shipped to store. Their donuts are good, fluffy and moist.. all providing a mouth feel and not...dry and sad like a lot of places. My husband loved the canoli. I would highly recommend! Limited variety compared to some, but they are good with that they do have!

We got the caprini toast and it didn't have the micro greens as it says on the menu, but no biggie. The bagel with egg and cheese was very bland, and it is a square of scrambled egg, not a fried egg. The baked goods were fantastic! The sticky date cake is crazy good! It weighs a million pounds and is so thick and just the perfect texture. We also got the lemon yogurt cookie which was soft and tangy, 10/10. They have a cool little retail space for various alcohols, non-alcoholic beverages, food, tea etc. I was happy to buy some local loose leaf tea, and there were a ton to choose from! Service was fine. The person who took our order was friendly, the food took a lot longer than expected but we had time to kill so it didn't bother us. I'd go back if I visit Athens again, I'd love to try the soup!
