Great dive bar with good food. We like stopping here when we get out southwest. Very busy Saturday afternoon crowd. Sat at the bar and both bartenders were fun and constantly serving customers. Had the special which was an Italian turkey sandwich with onion chips. Very good! My wife had the brisket sandwich and waffle fries. Also good. Decent beer selections. We went to Floyd's on a Saturday night for drinks and dinner. When we first arrived we noticed that there are two sections to the place one that's more of a restaurant style (where you have a waiter) and the other section that's separated by a little hallway is a bar area (no waiters but you can order food and drinks from the bar). We grabbed the first table we saw in the "bar area". The service at the bar was slow. It seemed that the bartenders where focused on the regulars that go there which is understandable but to order drinks and food it took awhile. The food though was really good and the portion sizes are big! So made up for the slower service. If you are trying to have any sort of conversation with friends we recommend not sitting in the bar area. There was a band playing this night and it was very loud for such a small space. Probably would have been a good volume for an outdoor space. Overall the food was good and the outdoor patio looks fun for when it's warmer out so we will return to give that a try! read more

Walked in for a late lunch. No one acknowledged us and we waited for.a good 15 min. They were not busy at all. They seemed to only be taking orders from the local bar flys and ignoring anyone else. Still terrible. Stopped in at noon on a Thursday. 2 dudes getting tanked on whisky waters. Took about 8 minutes to get the bartender to come ask if I wanted anything. The Jamaican jerk wings were really good, the cook brought them out to me. Again, can't say enough times about if you're the local town drunk the bartender will bend over backwards to make sure you feel accommodated. If you're from out of town, keep driving west to Waconia. Way better food and drinks there. The only saving grace was winning a $100 pull tab of $20. read more

This place is nothing fancy but that doesn't mean it's awesome! It's the perfect local bar to hit up if you want something casual and fun. There is often live music which adds to the ambiance and it's especially fun during the summer because you can sit outside on the patio. The drinks are decently priced as well as the food. For being bad food I would say the flavor is great! One of my favorites is the buffalo cheese curds; they are also generous with the portion sizes. I also love the walleye sandwich and nachos. This has been a semi frequent spot when we are out riding and we have enjoyed Floyd's. Today was a different story-We were there around 3pm on Thursday which is an off time but we were out riding and we thought we'd stop in and have a beer and maybe a snack. The first table we were going to sit at On the patio was covered in Box Elder bugs so we went to another table which appeared clean but was soon occupied by flies. We went into the bar to get drinks as there was only one bartender and did not see any other servers. She was nice. As we sat on the patio contemplating whether or not we are going to order food, We saw two different tables pay and leave with untouched food at each table. We saw the bartender come out to take away garbage and empties and one bus person come out and take away more garbage and empties but never did we see any tables being wiped or sprayed and other customers were complaining about being bitten by flies and they went inside to get away from the flies and it was a beautiful day to be out on the patio. Before we left, I decided to use the restroom. It was filled with even more flies than the patio and the smell was so horrible I almost puked. I think they must be severely understaffed or something but it was a very unpleasant experience. read more

Absolutely the rudest and strangest customer service I have ever experienced! I would give it negative stars if I could! My sister and I were with our Dad and decided to try a late lunch at Floyd's. He and I are visiting from out of state and had never been there. There were maybe 10 other people there and we were directed to order from the bar outside. It took a while to get the dark-haired, female bartender to notice us. Our dad ordered a beer, and my sister asked if they had fresh brewed iced tea, to which she replied yes, so we both asked for tea andwe ordered some food. We saw her pour the beer from the tap and glasses of something else from a tap that looked very much like beer. When she put them on the counter, I asked if that was iced tea and she said it was "twisted tea", which apparently is some type of beer/tea combo- which we had never heard of. I told her we wanted regular tea, and she said we should have told her that ..to which my sister replied that she did ask for regular tea. The woman then proceeded to argue angrily and used the F word several times while insisting that we "f-ing ordered" this beer tea! How may I ask, could we have ordered something we had never heard of?? Then she said " it doesn't f-ing matter" when we continued to explain what we had actually ordered. What kind of a person speaks like this to a customer? We were completely calm and rational & totally mystified by a person behaving in this manner. Neither of us have ever experienced such strange and irrational behavior before! This woman needs to rethink her life choices if she can't behave appropriately in that position! I then spoke to a kind, younger male bartender about what had happened and he apologized and refunded what she charged us for the drinks. He went ahead and canceled the food for us when we said we would not be staying. He apologized, & wished our dad a Happy Fathers Day and seemed not to be surprised by her behavior. We put the drinks on the bar and left. I'll never be back. I have no idea how that woman keeps her job as I have read several reviews mentioning rude service by a female bartender. She worked Sat 6/17 afternoon. The owners should be aware that she is a disgrace to their establishment. read more

We ordered 5 items off of their menu to-go. While the Little Nicky's pizza were OK as well as the cuban and Italian hoagie. The BBQ brisket sandwich and nachos left a lot to be desired. The brisket was cut about 1/2 in thick and was like rubber to the point of being inedible. The nachos were to-go so I don't fault as much for that but the chicken was also not very good and in giant chunks that you couldn't even get on a chip. read more

Labor Day late afternoon. Probably the most flavorful, yummy Coconut Shrimp Tacos I've ever had. The guacamole and salsa were also very tasty! And the portion size very appropriate, not massive or too little. Very disappointed that the bartender was completely unsympathetic to a glass of wine that my friend ordered and she didn't like right away when she tasted it. The food was good. The $6.95 lunch special is a slider and fries, I was told by the waitress that I might want to add another slider for $3 if I was actually hungry. So, for $10 I can get 2 sliders and fries, or for a dollar or two more I get a meal off the regular menu... Hmm, good thing I was there just to meet a coworker and had already been snaking shortly before we agreed to meet up and cover some business dealings. The lamb slider was small but delicious, well made and worth the money. The service however left much to be desired... It was 15 min before being given menus and an apology. The kitchen staff delivered the food and we never saw the server again in till she noticed us sitting with empty glasses and we had stacked the empty baskets. Great bar! Watched the Iowa-Nebraska game there while up in Victoria visiting family for the holiday weekend. A great place. The two bartenders/servers had a full house & kept up very well. They were also very friendly & social (while NOT getting behind on service). The food is really good. They have a great selection of beers on tap & offer many other drinks. Their Weekender Bloody Mary looked amazing so I'll have to try it another time. It's easy to tell who the regulars are but unlike many places, they are all really friendly & welcoming! I'm not sure if we'll be back in the area for Christmas but this is definitely a place I'll be frequenting whenever in Victoria. I am a summer floyds fan. Who knew a biker bar could have a carribean feel. They are not far off,the,lrt trail which goes into downtown victoria, so,we rode bikes. We parked with the harleys :) sitting outside is great! Totally satisfying bar food and good happy hour. Live music. It's kind of a weird policy, but they do not deliver drinks to the table. Any drinks. You have to go in and order them from the bar. I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos ($12.50) with a side of guacamole ($1 for a small cup). The coconut shrimp was very, very crispy. The first thing I noticed was that it only came with 5 chips. I ordered the guacamole for the chips. I asked the server if they could bring me more chips, as it only came with 5. She informed me that their policy is to only give 5 chips. I had to speak with 3 people in order to get the $1 guacamole taken off of the tab, after I gave the guac back to them, uneaten. My friend really enjoyed the Sunrise burger, though. read more

However, during this COVID-19 situation, they (1) have no website - says it's been suspended, and (2) they have the most uninformative Facebook page ever. I was along with a bachelorette party when I ordered two vodka red bulls. As I watched him pour the drinks I turned to a friend of mine and said "I don't miss the college days drinking that stuff" as he poured their rail vodka. (Totally fine because that is what I ordered, vodka Red Bull) When I got my bill it said Tito's on it for the vodka. No big deal, as I love Tito's but I watched him pour their rail. When I KINDLY asked him if that was correct he completely lost it on me. Yelling that there were cameras, to get the fu** out of his face, that he was calling security, etc. I will never go here again & you absolutely should not support a establishment that keeps such scum of the earth on their payroll. read more
