Really, really yummy food! Both the short rib sandwich and the steak frites were solid! The Shirley temples were good and use actual grenadine (we think). Everything tasted super fresh, very good, very light side salads but refreshing. Good portions, and nice utensils, plates, cups, napkins, I also really liked that they gave us our drinks and the cans with leftover soda. Service was really good and a nice server, nice host and nice people. Very sweet kind, and patient with the table next to us who was being very picky ! Cute little joint right off of highway 7 in Saint Boni! Their food is fresh, innovative, and delicious. It's a relatively small space and you can call to make reservations which is recommended as they are always pretty busy! My breakfast sandwich was really really good but the potato's were honestly incredible. The crisp they got on the outside while remaining soft on the inside was perfect! My mom and I stopped at Molly's on a Saturday evening for dinner. I ordered the Chicken Paillard Risotto and my mom ordered the pasta. The chicken was probably the best chicken I've ever had. It was so moist and flavorful. The pasta my mom ordered was also delicious as well. The food here was fantastic. Their website said they do not take online reservations and to call instead. When we called, no one answered. When we got to the restaurant, the hostess asked if we had reservations, and we said no. We explained that we had called but didn't get an answer, and she told us that if we had kept calling, someone would have picked up. She also mentioned they were pretty busy and it would be difficult to fit us in, even though the tables were seemingly empty. They were able to seat us, and the rest of the experience was pleasant. Found Molly's while looking for a 'date night' excursion. Surprisingly, St. Boni is only 30 minutes west of the Eden Prairie area, but felt like a nice getaway. We were greeted warmly, seated on the patio and met our server after being seated. She helped us pick drinks, highlighted the specials, customized our order (to be dairy free) and even mentioned a dairy free French Silk pie option (wait, what?). The drinks and food were incredible and the service was excellent throughout the evening. I loved the pie (maybe just because it was dairy free, but it tasted really good to me) -- the monster cookie was just "ok" according to my wife. Attended Molly's "Vino Natale" wine dinner with friends. What a great evening of food, wine, and conversation. Molly's is a small, quaint, comfy, neighborhood spot completely decked out for the holidays, which made our evening feel like a celebration. The dinner included 5 gourmet courses each perfectly paired with Italian wines. Molly did a great job describing each dish as did the wine representative discussing the wines. Molly is certainly in her element, and her love of creating food for her customers is apparent. My favorites of the evening were the mushroom and truffle risotto, the pork tenderloin, and the incredible mascarpone cheese cake. We are already excited to attend future events at Molly's read more

No, just no. First off, no ambience. Also had to call 2x in 2 days trying to make a reservation before someone texted me confirming. Must not need customers. I ordered a cocktail off their menu, they told me they didn't have the prime ingredient for it. They offered to substitute elder flower liqueur for the lemon liqueur but I said no thanks and I ordered the Ecuador Sun which was advertised to feature passion fruit liqueur. Not being sure what that was supposed to look like, I accepted the drink they brought to me.Which was clear colored and I now realized was the original drink I ordered with the elderflower. Obviously the bartender didn't want to waste a drink they'd made before I agreed to it and passed it on to the unknowing customer. Me. That's sneaky, cheap and bad manners. It was ok tasting but both the waitress and bartender pulled a fast one on me. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with ham. The ham was so thick, dry and gristly, you couldn't bite into it. I had to remove it from the sammie and saw through it with a knife and fork. Otherwise, lackluster for an 18 buck sandwich. The roasted potatoes needed more time in the oven and some seasoning, even salt and pepper would have helped. With tip, over 40 bucks for a bad breakfast. No thanks. Have visited Molly's many times, all 5 star until this past week. Walleye was outstanding - the addition of capers is a perfect touch. Not so much the scallops. They were tough, overcooked, served on a bed of lukewarm rice. Shared this info. with Tony, the waiter, who later said the house would like to offer us dessert. We ordered the creme brulee - again, delicious - and bread pudding. Charged $10.35 for the bread pudding. Miscommunication?? Also ordered a glass of chardonnay - Tony recommended - charged $19.66 - ouch! But we shall return - so many positive past experiences. read more

We usually like the food but today was different. The breakfast sandwich was soggy and potatoes were undercooked. The waitress was not very friendly. Oh and don't tell them your splitting a sandwich they will charge you extra. Just for an extra plate. I told her I was just gonna have a bit of his - NOPE. We have eaten there at least 6 times and the food has been great every time! The staff is amazing and experienced which also adds to your ability to enjoy your dining experience! In the summer Molly had made a special item for the menu with peppers as an appetizer, and I wish I could have it again! The corn chowder is also off the hook! She also hosts event dinners that are paired with a specific wine or spirit and they were fantastic every time we attended. The menu is set for those events. Food was good but did not match the price and we had a beyond terrible experience. We first waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at our table, then after our putting our order in we waited over an hour for our food. Given the long wait, my kids went thru 2 fountain lemonades and when we asked for the third we were told we'd be charged for another round ( only one refill allowed). Fine, except they were SIX dollars...so, we paid $24 in lemonade charges for 2 kids. Food arrived and by that time we didn't care much how it tasted--we were hungry. We wrapped up quickly and the owner came out and said thanks for your patience--you ordered when everyone else did. Yep, that's how a restaurant works. My two friends and I biked the Dakota trail intending to stop at Molly's for lunch. We noticed a bike rack across a street but didn't want to leave our nice bikes there - even with locks. As we were parking them on the side of the building away from the door and not in anyone's way, a server came out of restaurant and very sternly told us to park them at the bike racks. We got a bad vibe about it so we left and ate at Grumpy's - we all had delicious chicken sandwiches there that were nummy and reasonably priced and no one hassled us about parking our bikes! read more

Arrived around 11am in a group of three cyclists. A server (the owner?) met us at the door and interrogated us about what we would be ordering. When we said we were looking for coffee and a snack, we were told that they were a full-service restaurant and they would not serve us. We were told to leave. Given the recent reviews from other cyclists, it's clear that the new owners have some real cyclist-hate going on. A real shame, this used to be a great place to stop for a snack during a long ride. We have lived in Chanhassen for 34 years. The food we had for dinner this evening was, hands down, the best food we have ever had in the area!! We started with the crab cakes. Mouth watering! I had the walleye and my husband had the halibut. Both pieces of fish were cooked perfectly!
