Once I got to that facility weeks later, turns out, he was incorrect and should have never sent me to the other facility. The facility that he sent me to works very closely with him so they were very surprised when I showed up and everything that he had sent was incorrect. The other office apologized to me for making me wait and go through all of this hassle for nothing. They were pretty shocked about what happened. He wasted my time and my money, and I ended up having to go for a third appointment somewhere else. That also postponed my treatment. Dr. Schwerdtfeger (Dr. Joe) would not recommend. If you are a doctor and you were unsure of the next steps a patient needs to take, tell them that. I would have more respect for a doctor if they told me the truth, instead of sending me somewhere that couldn't help.

I stared off seeing Dr. Groff years ago until she moved and then I moved to Lawrence. I had always loved their service and eye wear selection. After my dog destroyed my favorite pair of glasses I had bought at Dr. Krannawitter's former office, I had a hard time finding frames in Lawrence that I liked. So one morning I popped into the new location on Pflumm. I was so impressed with what they'd done with that building. Of course, their eyewear selection was still amazing. The staff were friendly and informative, just as they had been 5 years ago. Bummed I didn't have a current glasses prescription to order the frames that I'd found there and loved, staff were able to squeeze me into an appointment right then so that I could go ahead and order my glasses that day. I just had my yearly check up this week and the staff is nice, helpful, and professional. Their staff member, Chloe, did a variety of my pre-testing this week and the ordering of my contacts and I had a good experience with her as well. I don't have Eye insurance, but they do have a coupon on their website that you can print off for either a returning visit or a first time visitor. I also have to use another location of theirs in Overland Park for a specialized Eye test once a year. I believe that they will match any price for contacts that you find online as well. I choose to have my contacts purchased and sent to their location and that I pick them up so I don't have to worry about them in my mailbox. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses as well. Enter Noyce Family Eye Care. All the reviews I saw online were raving, I confirmed they took my insurance, and I quickly made an appointment over the phone. It's super close to my house, and once I got there it was a very quick and seamless process to get checked in and seen by Dr. Noyce. She was incredibly kind and personable, and honestly, I'm just so happy I made the switch to this practice. I've only had one visit so far but I'm really optimistic about using this practice for my eye care needs moving forward.
