Don't listen to what Google says!! Google said the store was closed but I'm so thankful I went anyways. I went to 3 other spots but Chuck had the most beautiful arrangements with the best prices despite it being Mother's Day and almost closing time. Definitely will be coming back for future visits and will be recommending to friends and family. read more

Flowers By Chuck is our preferred flower vendor in the local area. I personally have never made an order, but my boyfriend orders flowers for me pretty regularly & as the recipient, I can certainly (& immediately) tell the difference between an arrangement from Flowers By Chuck & an arrangement from those "other guys". My boyfriend has shopped around locally in the area at the other florists, but they never match the quality of an arrangement from Flowers By Chuck. Although he has mentioned that the arrangements are a little pricey, he is always happy with the outcome & states that the end result is worth the few extra dollars, because it makes all the difference. The vases are always beautifully full with no bare spots, and I don't know what kind of magic they use, but the flowers seemingly live FOREVER. Valentine's Day flowers still have color & life in them as we approach March! Delivery is prompt & often, same day, if the recipient is local to the shop. This is a very important note - just in case you forgot someone's birthday or an anniversary ;) We've found that the best service is provided when speaking with the shop directly & not going through one of the third party services like 1-800-Flowers. Grateful to have a classic "mom & pop" shop like Chuck's as our go-to in the area & I can't wait to receive my next arrangement :) read more

Amazing place. Always helpful and are the best in town for flowers. Recommend them for sure.

Ordered a standing arrangement for my Aunt's wake. It was beautiful and definitely the nicest arrangement at the wake. I saw a photo of the arrangement on their website, but called my order in. The gentleman that took my order, I presume was Chuck. It was an easy transaction. The flower arrangement was delivered on time, and looked great. I would not hesitate to recommend this florist to anyone. read more

honestly the flowers are ok/average. i am writing this review because i went in on Friday 2/12 and ordered a blush rose bouquet for my wife to pick up sunday for valentine's days. there wasn't a single rose in the bouquet. that's fine since like i said the flowers themselves are generally pretty. but for $50 i would expect my bouquet to have what i asked for. I was more bothered that the woman at the counter that handles all the customers payment/pickups as well as another regular employee (might be the owner) was walking around the store MASKLESS. The least we all can do during this pandemic is wear a mask to protect others and they couldn't even do that on one of the busiest days of the year? I will NOT be shopping for flowers here anymore. read more

Flowers By Chuck - blush rose bouquet (where are the roses) - Florists Near Me - Lyndhurst, New Jersey

I had a horrible experience with Flowers by Chuck when my mother tried to order from them about a month ago. They did not deliver the flowers when they were supposed to and lied to my mother and said that they had left me a voicemail. They did not. My mother had paid extra for the flowers to be delivered early and they were not. My mother was told by 1-800-Flowers that they would deliver the flowers that night. They did not. Flowers by Chuck delivered a much smaller bouquet than my mother ordered the following morning. When I called to complain about the flower delivery, they doubled down on their lies and told me that they had left me a voicemail and done everything they could. I explained how they did not and my frustration with the situation and they hung up on me. I left a Google Review and their response to my Google Review is they hung up because they claimed "I yelled at them" and they said "You need to call 1-800 Flowers for your complaint." I did not yell. They did not tell me that I needed to call 1-800 Flowers. I am also disgusted that in their Google Review response they continued to lie and try to discredit me in their response. If this was an isolated incident, that would be one thing. However, when I told others in Lyndhurst about how rude they were at Flowers by Chuck they weren't surprised and said they had experienced rudeness themselves. Clearly, they do not care about their customers and they lack the skills to successfully interact with them, so lying and their changing stories is what they do to compensate for that. read more

40 year customer, watched people walk in and order, continued to ask for 2 $30 bouquet, waiting 45 minutes because of a mix up and no order......SORRY BUT YOU LOST A CUSTOMER. read more

I always stop in to pick up flowers when I am there to visit the cemetery. Beautiful arrangements made on the spot.

I ordered flowers for my mother's retirement today. The flowers never arrived. When I called the store to inquire, I was told the delivery person claimed they were delivered and it was"checked off her sheet". The person who I spoke with was more interested in leaving for the day than helping and said, "call back tomorrow if there is a problem." There is a problem, sir...I paid for flowers to be delivered today for a special occasion and they weren't. Very poor service. I won't be ordering from Flower's By Chuck again. read more

Thank you Danny for the wonderful arrangement for the centerpieces for my daughters engagement party. You went the extra step. What a great family business. read more

I came across Flowers By Chuck only by chance. My girlfriend and I were spending the weekend at a nearby hotel and I wanted to have some roses waiting for her when we checked into the hotel. I spoke to Donald a few days before our arrival and he took great care of my needs. The arrangement was outstanding, the flowers were delivered on time and ahead of our arrival, and she was overjoyed at the sight of them. Donald and Flowers By Chuck are aces in my book. I would highly recommend them to anyone that's asking. read more

The service was okay , but I was really concerned because they had no mask and the flowers were pretty expensive even tho they looked dead.

I ordered a basket of flowers for a get well gift one hour before I needed them. I asked for mostly yellow flowers as that is her favorite color. This was the most beautiful basket of yellow flowers I had ever seen. My aunt was delighted with her gift. The flowers were fresh and lasted a long time. Flowers by Chuck never leaves me disappointed. I have been using Flowers by Chuck for many years and will continue to do so. read more

I ordered a funeral basket online. I had some reservations because of past online ordering experiences (with 1800Flowers) where the arrangement that was delivered was quite puny in size and quality for the price. I had been nothing but disappointed in the past. However, Flowers by Chuck delivered! My arrangement was exactly as pictured, larger than I expected, delivered on time and absolutely beautiful! I'm new to the area and Flowers by Chuck is now my go-to for flowers! I highly recommend them! read more

Walked in wanting to get a bouquet of flowers for a birthday and got exactly what I wanted. The guy in the store was helpful as far as asking what kind of flowers I wanted and for a price range. He highlighted the sunflower and rose perfectly and my girlfriend loved them. Would go there again! read more

Never again - my boyfriend ordered a DOZEN roses for me for Valentine's Day. When I opened the box, there were only SIX. He paid for a dozen... called and the owner asked if he wanted to come in for 6 more or if he wanted a refund. I told him at this point to get a refund. It's now almost the end of May and has my boyfriend received the refund? NOPE! What a joke. Terrible customer service, ripping off their customers. Do yourself a favor, save your money and go somewhere else. Way too many florists in the area to be dealing with this terrible place! read more

Chuck, the owner, either has terrible memory or is complete liar.. I'm guessing the latter. He gave me a quote for a flower wall for 300 dollars and then a week before my wedding said he never gave me that quote & that his quote was 500. We went back and forth & I told him that if the job required more than he originally assumed it was fine if he wanted to raise the price.. BUT you told me 300. He said "sure if that makes u feel better" - completely rude & unprofessional. It's not about the extra 200 bucks it's the PRINCIPLE. I wanted to call the job off but my husband talked me out of it, said not to worry & we didn't need the headache of finding someone else to do the job so close to the wedding date. If your going to get a job done by Chuck make sure you have some kind of written agreement, actually his work sucked - don't even bother using him for anything serious, besides perhaps a dozen roses. My flower wall looked nothing like the picture I showed him.. He just doesn't have an artistic eye nor the right attitude. read more

Very disappointed ! I have ordered flowers from 1800-flowers and pro flowers in the past and have always been let down by the actual product compared to the online picture. I purposefully chose a local florist to avoid that happening and was so disappointed to see they did the exact same thing. We ordered flowers for a funeral and we upgraded to the premium bouquet bc it was going to be from a few Co workers and myself. When we saw what we got it was way smaller than the online photo of what they advertised as small, which was 2 sizes down from the premium we actually ordered and had far less flowers. I did call to make them aware and their claim was they added even more flowers than what was required and that I should have read the description not looked at the picture. Anyone could clearly see that it was very sparse bouquet for $85, even my coworkers noted that is not what they believed they paid for. I could have stopped at Shoprite or even 7/ 11 and gotten something far more substantial for the money. read more

I just received a beautiful fruit basket from my colleagues, due to the recent passing of my Dad. It was created by "Flowers by Chuck." I was so impressed, that I called to tell the Shop Owner how lovely it is. The fruit is delicious looking & the whimsy of the daisies poking through the cellophane adds a special touch. Thank you, Flowers by Chuck. Barbara read more

I ordered a christmas arrangement for the first time from this florist. The gentleman was very helpful and patient in helping me make the right choice for a dear relative. She called to thank me for the beautiful arrangement of evergreens, flowers and candles. I was hoping for her to be pleasantly surprised and she was thrilled with receiving such a beautiful piece near the christmas holiday. I will order from them again. Thank you, Flowers by Chuck read more

So relieved that Chuck, and co., made the transition of my Aunt passing very easy. I knew exactly what I wanted, but didn't live in the area, so I had to explain it to him by phone. What was awaiting us, was UNBELIEVABLY beautiful. Three huge pieces, ALL ROSES, (with a few carnations creativity placed to keep the feeling of roses), were there to greet the family. Beloved Sister. Beloved Aunt. Beloved Great Aunt. Exactly exactly, exactly what I had in my head, ordered over the phone without visuals. I will continue to use Chuck and his creative team whenever flowers are needed. ALSO, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL BRICK AND MORTAR BUSINESSES! Chuck is extremely reasonably priced, and it's always nice to work with a caring, eager to please company. Phewwww....lots of deserved praise. Hope you all have a great day. read more

Great customer service. After a horrible experience with 1800FLOWERS, (a mistake I will never, ever make again) Chuck turned a nightmare into a very pleasant surprise for my mother. The floral arrangement was absolutely beautiful and he even helped me out with the price because of the circumstances, which was very much appreciated. For all future purchases, make sure to do business directly with this man and his company, not with the scamming 1800Flowers! He's worth it. read more

I must say these guys are great. While on vacation, a friend's family member passed and I was unable to attend the funeral. With one phone call, I had an arrangement picked out and sent and I didn't even know the zip code. They went over all the different options for me and my price range, since I'm no flower expert! My friend called me to tell me how beautiful it was. I can't thank them enough! read more

I ordered flowers for a wake and was pleasantly surprised. Having ordered before on line I am usually very disappointed. This is the 1st time I actually spoke to an actual florist and he was very helpful in picking out the type of arrangement, type of flowers, colors etc. From now on this is my florist and I would recommend them to everyone and also tell you not to order online from one of those fake florists like 800 and the rest read more

i ordered flowers online it was the "cotton candy" bouquet "deluxe" it was predominantly roses HOWEVER when received it was made of of mostly carnations. i understand if you don't have the exact flowers it will be substituted but i feel seriously ripped off. substitutions should be at equal or greater value. carnations are possibly the cheapest tackiest flower around and i am mortified that i not only paid top dollar for a rose bouquet but that i also paid an additional fee for the "deluxe" and the carnation bouquet was still skimpier looking than the picture. i live in lyndhurst and try to support local businesses but i am never ever ever ordering from here again. read more
