AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! Did I say Amazing??? This florist and Marsha and Tom were a god send to me during a difficult time. My mom passed away, so my best friend and I went to make the floral arrangements. I live in West Milford and there isn't the largest selection. I was told by one florist "they had no flowers left because they had a previous wake" and arrived at another one and it was closed for the day. After stumbling upon "Pompton Lakes Florist" and the owners Marsha and Tom, I couldn't have left happier or in more peace for the circumstances. Being in shock from having to bury a parent they were both super supportive, caring and wanted to make sure we got it right for my mom's final goodbye to our family. The prices for the quality of flowers and customer service we received was beyond reasonable. Marsha also gave several creative suggestions, like drying some flowers out and putting them in a photo box. When the flowers arrived I couldn't have been happier with the way they turned out. They were exactly as we had planned and what I envisioned. I even stopped by today 3 months later to say thank you and pick up more flowers. I told Marsha when I get married someday she will definitely have my business. Ordered a sunflower arrangement in a bamboo cube for my sister-in-law and it was absolutely beautiful!

One of our colleagues' family member passed. We were looking for a florist closest to the funeral home and found Pompton Lakes. We ordered an arrangement for $65 and they didn't charge us for delivery fee! Which florist wouldn't charge for delivery? The person that took the order said that we were nice enough to send an arrangement for the family mourning their loss; the least they can do is drive 2 miles for free. Well, one of our colleagues went to the wake today and told us that the arrangement was magnificent and look more like a $150 arrangement! With that said, thank you Pompton for your generosity. Too bad you are so far away, otherwise, we'll do business with you more often. :) read more

One star for delivery I live in Las Vegas. Couldn't go to my grandfathers funeral I talked to them over the phone I said I wanted to keep it around 150-175 I wanted yellow roses and purple iris' They thought that thier opinion was more important to make it more masculine. When I saw a photo of the flowers my mouth dropped They used red white and blue carnations and baby brets A few roses here and there I was so embarrassed. Never again. I told my family in that area don't use this florist. I called the place, I wasn't going to argue, wasn't worth it. They took my money, gave my grandfather garbage. read more

Being a small business owner myself, its super important for me to be able to shop local even when its out of state. I found their information online and called the shop directly! I told the gentleman Tom that I was in need of sending an arrangement for a funeral as I was out of state, he reassured me he would put together an amazing piece for my budget and offered many extras including family ribbons and cards, and best of all free delivery to the funeral home in time for the first viewing. I just got a $30 bouquet of five flowers. The florist appeared disinterested in us, and after picking out the flowers only half came back into the bouquet. The general feeling after leaving was that we were unwelcome and short-changed. I highly recommend going to Bloomingdale florist who has given much better service to me in the past locally. Came here to buy my mother flowers for Mother's Day. I had previously won a thirty dollar gift certifate at a tricky tray. I was under the impression that any reputable business would donate a gift certifate in order to promote new costumers. Yet when I came here with a gift certificate I was met with an uninviting florist. She immediately seemed disinterested and annoyed with me. The finished bouquet had a total of five roses in it for $30! She gave me no balance to the gift certificate. I left there feeling taken advantage of, unwelcome and very upset. When showing my father the bouquet he told me it looked like a $10 bouquet of roses. I would like some answers! What a horrible experience not sure how they stay in business. read more
