I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid over $300, plus a tip, for a large funeral arrangement for my brother in law and specifically asked that everything be perfect because of the importance of the occasion. When I arrived at the funeral home, the ribbon said **"Beloved Father in Law"** instead of **"Beloved Brother in Law."** The lettering was also noticeably uneven, crooked, and poorly applied. I contacted the florist immediately while I was at the funeral. To be fair, she did send her daughter back to correct the wording to "Beloved Brother in Law," which I appreciated. However, the replacement lettering was still visibly crooked and sloppy. I was also disappointed in the overall presentation of the arrangement. One side appeared full and nicely rounded, while the other side looked noticeably more sparse and uneven. For the amount I paid, I expected a much more polished and professionally finished arrangement. What upset me most was having to deal with all of this while grieving at my brother in law's funeral. I should not have had to spend that time making phone calls and worrying about correcting a funeral arrangement that I had specifically asked them to carefully check before delivery. It was stressful and embarrassing to have family and friends see the incorrect inscription. I requested a full refund. The florist acknowledged in writing that the lettering was incorrect but refused to refund me because the flowers had already been "used." What makes this even more disappointing is that **the refund policy posted on their own website states that if you are not completely satisfied with the arrangement and contact them within three days, they will deliver another arrangement or give you a refund of the total amount for the arrangement.** I contacted them within that time period and requested the full refund stated in their policy. I understand that mistakes can happen. My disappointment comes from the incorrect inscription, the sloppy workmanship even after it was corrected, the uneven presentation, the stress this caused during an already painful funeral, and then the refusal to honor the full refund stated in their own website policy. I ordered a big arrangement of 30 flowers that was on their website over the phone, asked the woman to pull up the picture and tell me if she had the correct flowers and could make that, she said yes and they sent a cheap arrangement with 8 flowers, then denied it even though I have pictures. I called them, the florist denied it and argued with me. She told me they can't give me 30 flowers for that price and basically I was crazy to think that! It's on their website and they set the price, which I told her but she said she's running a business and can't afford to give me that at that price. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! Did I say Amazing??? This florist and Marsha and Tom were a god send to me during a difficult time. My mom passed away, so my best friend and I went to make the floral arrangements. I live in West Milford and there isn't the largest selection. I was told by one florist "they had no flowers left because they had a previous wake" and arrived at another one and it was closed for the day. After stumbling upon "Pompton Lakes Florist" and the owners Marsha and Tom, I couldn't have left happier or in more peace for the circumstances. Being in shock from having to bury a parent they were both super supportive, caring and wanted to make sure we got it right for my mom's final goodbye to our family. The prices for the quality of flowers and customer service we received was beyond reasonable. Marsha also gave several creative suggestions, like drying some flowers out and putting them in a photo box. When the flowers arrived I couldn't have been happier with the way they turned out. We ordered an arrangement for $65 and they didn't charge us for delivery fee! Which florist wouldn't charge for delivery? The person that took the order said that we were nice enough to send an arrangement for the family mourning their loss; the least they can do is drive 2 miles for free. One star for delivery I live in Las Vegas. Couldn't go to my grandfathers funeral I talked to them over the phone I said I wanted to keep it around 150-175 I wanted yellow roses and purple iris' They thought that thier opinion was more important to make it more masculine. When I saw a photo of the flowers my mouth dropped They used red white and blue carnations and baby brets A few roses here and there I was so embarrassed. Never again. Came here to buy my mother flowers for Mother's Day. I had previously won a thirty dollar gift certifate at a tricky tray. I was under the impression that any reputable business would donate a gift certifate in order to promote new costumers. Yet when I came here with a gift certificate I was met with an uninviting florist. She immediately seemed disinterested and annoyed with me. The finished bouquet had a total of five roses in it for $30! She gave me no balance to the gift certificate. I left there feeling taken advantage of, unwelcome and very upset.
