They were "just because" flowers, and they absolutely brightened my day. Beautiful arrangement, and all of my coworkers were jealous. The flowers smell great too. I live in Oregon and needed to order an arrangement for my grandmother's funeral service. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was helpful, respectful, kind and didn't start counting off all the hidden costs after the order was placed. Cost was almost secondary to the wonderful service I received. This gentleman was sensitive to my grandmothers passing. I grew up in Clifton and am happy this place is still in business. I decided to order flowers for my friend who just had surgery and gave allwood a call. A gentleman named Scott answered the phone and helped me suggest a good selection of get well flowers while I was also browsing their website. We picked the cotton candy flowers, just the name itself is cheery and I knew she would love them, he assured me they would be delivered at the time I wanted and they were which I'm glad about. The only reason I put 4 stars is because they spelled my name wrong on the card (I mean she knew who it was from but still lol) and that the roses seemed closed up. I also wished there were more filler flowers. They were still absolutely beautiful very large and brought a smile to her face. That's all I cared about. Definitely recommend them! First time using Allwood Florist but it won't be my last. I needed a funeral spray. The picture on the website did not do the arrangement justice. As soon as I walked in the funeral chapel, I knew which flowers were mine. The flowers were gorgeous, colorful and fresh. The roses included in the spray were a beautiful pinkish lilac. The arrangement was full and lush. I was proud to have my name on the card. I did not get the name of the person who took my order over the phone, but he was very courteous and answered all my questions. The ordering process was very easy. read more

stopped in here to get a bouquet for a friend. i would expect at least some premade bouquets being a florist and all....there was absolutely not 1 bouquet in site. I then asked the guy who came out to help me if I could get an arrangement made and he said he was currently working on one, so i had to wait 20 minutes. he wasn't even nice/accommodating about it, so i walked right out. i really hope that wasn't the owner, b/c if this is how they run their business, i wouldnt be surprised why their reviews are so low. what kind of florist doesn't have any bouquets for customers to buy?! also, their selection of flowers is very subpar, hardly had any nice selection! read more

STAY AWAY! SCOTT IS THE WORST PERSON TO DEAL WITH!!!!! RUDE!!!!! I wanted to order a dozen roses for a teacher and I provided the name, address and message I wanted written. When I asked SCOTT if he can read me back the information, he acted like I was asking him for his first born child. So nasty and rude. Don't I have a right to ask for my message and name of who it is going to, to be read back to me? Then while he was going over my billing information, I asked how much are the roses. I asked two times and he said "we will get to that later" in the nastiest voice. I said there's no reason to be nasty bc I have a right to ask how much they are. Outstanding choice for your flower needs! Had flowers done for my mother and niece. The flowers were top quality and their presentation captivating. Would give less than one star if I could. My boyfriend and I went the day before mother's Day to order two bouquet of flowers , one for my mom and one for his. The guy at the counter who I assume his name is Scott was so rude. We obviously weren't sure what to get and he was completely awful. I mean he ran the credit card twice, and then didn't even seem happy or friendly to help a young couple order flowers. Honestly, customer service is important, I ended up going to Bartlett's on Grove Street and let me tell you the customer service there is amazing, really amazing. We ended up getting two bouquets $40 each and they were cheap looking with small flowers, could have gotten better ones at ShopRite. Scott you will never get us to return and I hope your business does not succeed because you are not making it succeed at all, change your attitude and be more welcoming especially to young couples, actually just be more welcoming and helpful to people in general if they need help. You know exactly who we are, My boyfriend Dave even said when he went to pick them up you didn't even remember his name fully knowing that we were there yesterday. Clearly you don't want to run a business because you don't know how to treat your customers, anyways we will not be returning at all. I wanted to order flowers from this garbage dump of a florist. the guy who works there, Scott, is TERRIBLE. Absolutely the worst customer service. I received flowers from my niece for my birthday. As soon as I placed them on my table, the petals began to fall. They were almost dead. What a surprise to receive dead flowers on your birthday, I informed my niece & sent her pictures of what they looked liked & asked her to get her money back. I tried contacting the florist moments after the delivery to complain, but no one answered. My niece contacted the florist & advised of the problem. They decided they would resend a new bouquet but insisted upon delivery that the dead flowers be returned. I received a call from Lauren on the following Wednesday (5 days later). Wanted to know when I would be home because they had a delivery for me. I advised could not give a specific time & would like if they could just refund my niece for the flowers. A few minutes later I received a call from Scott. He stated that my niece wanted a new bouquet sent & that they needed to collect the old bouquet. I advised Scott that since they arrived dead & now it is 5 days later, I no longer had the dead flowers & asked him if he would keep dead flowers 5 days after the fact. Guess he didn't like what I said, & once again asked for the money to be returned, the phone went dead. I have since learned that the money has not been refunded & that my niece has paid for dead flowers.!!! How shameful of this business. This was the most horrible bouquet of flowers I have ever seen & not to refund the purchase price is just unethical!!! All they offered was to resend another bouquet & pick up dead flowers(again, 5 days after the fact) Why would I want more flowers from the same florist who thought it was ok to send DEAD flowers to start with!!!
