My flowers for my wedding on November 6th was magical. I ordered my flowers from C.G. Rainforest. Margarita came highly recommended by Stephanie at Lu Nellos Fine Dining. I am very difficult to please and hoped for the best. Margarita's shop is beautiful and knew she had the touch based on what I saw. For the wedding reception ,my center pieces were with White Hydrangea, white roses, Deep purple roses, Burgundy carnations on a beautiful tall glass vase for my theme, Bridal bouquet and maid of honor matched, the I also had the same arrangements on the pillars upstairs for the ceremony, The Arch was magical (see for yourself) , The entrance and the bar had arrangements on the table that she added. Margarita also decorated my wedding cakes. It looked amazing. Margarita does a beautiful job with the flowers, great customer service and reliable. Ran into a little snafu with 1800 baskets; they left me stranded! So I had to call here last minute to deliver some flowers to my mother in law on Mother's Day! At first they said they weren't accepting any more orders, but by the grace of God, the woman decided to take my order! Thank God she did! I called so many places to try and get a bouquet for my wedding but most were too costly or refused to make only one bouquet. When I called here, he immediately said fine for whatever I wanted and took care of it. He gave me his cell to send pictures of what I wanted and followed through with just that. I must have called this woman 5 times to make sure my order was delivered on time (after having issues with previous florists in the area) and she personally called the delivery carrier and had my order placed on priority. My boyfriend ordered flowers from FTD for me for my birthday yesterday and had them delivered to my office. The flowers were droopy and looked half dead. They looked nothing like how they appeared on the website. It was a beautiful gesture but it's sad that a business would ruin it like this. RAIN Florist has always been chosen as the local florist to make up the floral arrangements I have ordered for her over several years. Not only has my mother been delighted with each and every arrangement, she RAVES over them, down to the smallest detail! To know and see how happy my Mom has been makes me truly happy and most appreciative of the staff at RAIN. I received flowers from my sister through Rain Florist because my older sister had passed away and this was meant to comfort me. The arrangement I received did exactly the opposite. The display was in a vase which looked like a "left over" from Valentines day. The rosebuds were OK but the folliage was whithered and tacky. It was so bad I took the arrangement apart and rearranged it myself with fresh greenery. I felt so bad for my sister I lied to her and told her the flowers were lovely. I e-mailed Zymer twice and called leaving a messaage with his assistant and have not received even a phone call from him. I would NEVER recommend this florist to anyone. Being from out of town, I had never done business with Rain Florist before, but chose them because of their positive reviews. After placing my order over the phone, I was extremely pleased with the quality and freshness of the finished product. The staff was extremely courteous, both when I called them and also when I later stopped in to pick up the arrangement (really cute store, too). Placed an order for same day delivery and it never went out. I even called to confirm and it just never went out. I called back to see what happened, and they claimed they tried to deliver multiple times, but in my order, I specifically said "please leave with a neighbor" because I knew the family would not be home. They never even called me to let me know the trouble they were having. It's too bad because it's a local place I'd like to use again but can't. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I ordered flowers for a special occasion and was promised delivery on this date. I ordered a "premium" arrangement for extra money. I called and confirmed the order and delivery date. The day of the event I was called and told delivery would be by 3PM. After 3PM I still had no flowers. I called and the person said they would not deliver due to bad weather. I asked when they were going to call and tell me this and the response was, "If you want a call, hang up and I'll call you back and tell you." I was shocked. I said they should have planned for bad weather since the news had been saying for days the weather would be bad and they should have delivered first thing in the morning before the weather was bad. The guy was completely unapologetic and said they'd deliver the next day. I said the next day is pointless since I needed them for this occasion. Again, the guy refused to apologize and said I could have them tomorrow afternoon. They finally delivered the next day and to make matters even worse, the arrangement was not at all what I had ordered. I ordered a "premium" arrangement that was supposed to be very large and contain roses. This arrangement was small and had ONE rose!!! I couldn't believe it. I would expect to pay maybe $20 for that arrangement not the large sum I had already paid. I called my credit card company to contest the charge since I didn't want to deal with these people ever again. Lo and behold, I was right to not want to talk to them again. After being contacted by my credit card company, the guy came TO MY HOUSE and demanded the arrangement back!!! I cannot believe it. I have never dealt with someone like this.
