Their return customer benefit plan is great for those who like to regularly treat themselves. The prices are fair and special attention is given to each client. I'm a natural nails natural product junkie and they take good care of me on both fronts. It's a quiet environment free of gossip and chatter. The music is mostly calming and the experience is a relaxing one. Massages here are also affordable and I highly recommend them. They are willing to adjust the pressure and are so sensitive to each individuals' needs. Hot stone massages are usually far out of range for me but here they're in my budget. I can't say enough good things about these people! I walked in 20 minutes before closing to see if they could fit me in for a manicure before a job interview. Sophia did an awesome job on my nails and was lovely to speak with. By the time I left, everyone who worked there was wishing me luck on my interview! While the prices are on the higher end, the service really is fantastic and Flower is one of the cleanest nail salons i've been to in the UES. I have had some ok manicures from other girls, but Joanna is by far the best tech they have. Her gel manicures last nearly 3-4 weeks and she is very thorough, never skipping any steps or needing to clean up my skin after polishing. Her pedicures put me to sleep and overall the experience is always great. The woman at the front (not sure if she is the owner or not) but she is always friendly and extremely attentive. I had an old gel manicure that needed to be removed. She spent the time and patience to remove the old gel manicure without damaging my nail. I was so happy! The color choices were great- I picked Chanel Ballerina for my nails- a soft and elegant natural pick since my job doesn't allow bright colors. During my pedicure I had the most relaxing reflexology massage - everything from the pedicure chairs (with beautiful glass basins) to the soothing music created the escape I needed. I also had a chair massage to die for. It felt like I melted into the chair- it was exactly what I needed after 13 hour shift. I strongly recommend you try it! The most important thing was that everyone was courteous and attentive and that the facility was clean. I have been here twice. The first time I had a reasonable experience. I came back mainly because it's convenient. The second time was one of the worse pedicures I have ever had. First, they didn't have the colors I normally get so I was being slow to pick and they rushed me. Second the woman was extremely rough. It was not a relaxing experience. Some reasons you I will not come back: (1) extremely limited polish selection. Plus of the few colors they have they are mainly red. (2) very low quality. Did not soak my feet remove dead skin. I feel like I should write this review since I was lead here by all the great reviews. I got a pedicure and gel manicure here on a Sunday evening. I walked in, there was only one other customer and 4 or so employees. I asked to the gel colors, then asked if they had color matches for the pedicure. She said "oh yea we will find a match." Ok, so no. Also, very small selection of gel colors. Honestly if I hadn't been in a time crunch, I would have left at that point because I had an event and they needed to match. Nevertheless, I got the pedi first of course, with the color the lady suggested. It was ok. Nothing spectacular. Then onto the manicure. Same, nothing spectacular. She then stopped after the second coat. At the point I should have looked down and checked the color match to my feet. I did not. I also should have asked for a 3rd coat because that's standard for a gel manicure. But I didn't. Then when I'm done, she tells me my total is $78!! Woah ! That's really steep ! Yikes. Then doesn't forget to tell me "tip in cash". I then put the tip on the counter and gather my stuff. She's watching me the whole time like something is wrong. As I go to leave she goes "oh you give her the tip already?!" no, it's right there. How rude to ask for it, not once. But twice. By the time I get home and can see my hand and feet side by side, totally different color. I'm talking fire engine red vs maroon. Decide to go back the next day, given the price - it should be done right! Go in after work, no one from the day before is there. I explain the above, color is different and she only did 2 coats. Of course she gives me an attitude and says "you didn't see the color yesterday?" Geez !! Did your employee see the color yesterday?? Is it standard to only do 2 coats? What good is it going to do to question me now ? Anyway, the girl that fixed them was nice, and they do look better. Still don't match. Needed a mani/pedi and told them I only had 50 minutes in between meetings. The owner told me not to worry they would do a great job and work on both simultaneously. When I arrived promptly for my appointment, a man began my pedi and I had to remind the owner that I needed someone to work on my nails at the same time. It turned out that the man giving me my pedi, was the masseuse and didn't really seem to know what he was doing. The French gel manicure I was supposed to be getting at the same time didn't happen either. The pedi was barely finished when I had to leave to get to my appointment on time. The owner wanted to charge me (albeit a discounted amount) for the mani that never happened. I was so disappointed with my experience and my French pedi was so sloppy (after paying $40 for the massage guy to do it). The white lines are different thicknesses and the are not quite straight. There are several other nail salons across the street and down the block, that I will be trying. Never going back to this one. read more

It had a relaxing vibe to it. Jane, who did my pedicure, was very nice and made sure everything from the water, massage, hot towel, etc was to my liking. Now, on to the bad...the nail technician did an average job on my nails. Then the worst part was as me and my friends were leaving, one of the employees comes running after my friend because she tipped her 10%. Who does that??? It's a tip...and how dare you run after a customer and complain they gave a 10% tip on a nail job that was average at best! I will never come here again. I got Jessica for my pedicure and manicure and she was amazing! She was so careful and precise with everything. She also spent a long time massaging my legs and feet during the pedi and hands during the mani even though I didn't add any extra massage time. I have a little cold and during my pedicure, I began to cough and Jessica got up to get me water and when I began to cough again she got up to get me hard candies from across the salon and I didn't ask for either! To top of the lady came over after 4 min dryer finished told us nails were dry- they were not and she proceeded to the nail to prove us wrong , which indented it the thickly still wet polish- because they were too cheap to waste a round of electricity on another dry. I paid $37 plus tip for what was essentially a polish change on my toenails. I went in as a treat to myself at 9.5 months pregnant on the day that I was going to be induced, and I could not have picked a worse place. I have a lot of callouses, so one of the reasons I go for pedicures is for the callous removal - at this place, she o my spent about 30 seconds on my calluses, they ended up looking and feeling absolutely no different than when I went in. The "massage" (If you can call it that) lasted less than two minutes. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. For a "spa" pedicure that cost over $40 after tip! Please. No asking how everything was when I checked out, only a reminder that tip is in cash. If my 9.5 months pregnant hormones had been in control, I would have said something. So many other places in the area, if I'm going to spend that kind of money I'll go somewhere that cares about the quality of their service. read more

I needed a manicure the other day and remembered seeing this place on my way to work at the hospital. I walked in and there were three other customers. Music was relaxing and soothing. everything was clean and staff was friendly. I am super picky about polish on my fingers and how thorough the cuticle trimming is and both were great. Hannah started my nails and Lini? finished. I did not do the massage but wish I had because it looked to be a thorough massage for 10 minutes. They do not use water but use gloves with lotion instead. All of this is fine for me and my hands were still very soft in the end. I will definitely be back!!! read more

Both times were solid. Staffs are attentive and polite. I never felt rushed and they are gentle with cuticles and cutting. I'm super sensitive and usually hate getting my feet touched. But I didn't feel any uneasiness or discomfort here. 10 min massage was worth every second. It was very effective, spot on. Regular manicure is $15, pedicure $32. There are many fancy options if you like the extra pampering. I personally just never feel the need. The place is small but well equipped. 4 manicure stations and 5 pedicure massage chairs with 2 tv screens on the wall. PLUS, they play low key contemporary piano and cellphone usage is discouraged. No annoying radio talks or tacky dive bar playlist! I hope they stay good and stay clean. read more
