This is probably my favorite flower shop. I order flowers for my mom's birthday every year for the last three years. She's always happy with the arrangements, flowers are fresh. They also have a great customer service and acceptable prices... Wouldn't go to any other shop in the Modesto area. read more

The flowers I ordered from here were absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend to my friends and family!

We hired Samira for our 700-person wedding and we could not have been more happy. She made beautiful arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, peonies and more! She was so helpful, kind and understanding. What I loved most is she made MY vision a reality. Samira decorated my house, the church and the venue with a total of 50 giant bouquets. We would go through Flower Gallery again and recommend her to anyone's event needs. read more

Let me start out by saying, I ordered a bouquet through FTD.com, which served as a broker and sent my order to Flower Gallery to fulfill. I'm not sure if it was FTD.com or Flower Gallery that dropped the ball, but my order was completely messed up. I ordered a "deluxe" Valentine's Day arrangement on Feb. 5, to be delivered on the 14th to my girlfriend's office. The arrangement I ordered included two dozen long-stemmed red roses in a vase, it looked amazing online and I paid a premium for it: $139.99 before tax and delivery fee. Valentine's Day came along and I received an excited thank you text for "the beautiful roses." It seemed delivery went off without a hitch. Later that evening however, I saw the bouquet and realized the complete wrong item was delivered! One dozen red roses were delivered in a vase. They weren't bad, but looked to be worth probably half of what I paid for. I contacted FTD.com by email that night and explained the issue. I was disappointed, but my girlfriend appreciated the dozen roses that were delivered anyway, so I figured I'd be refunded the difference in price and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I received a reply by email 24 hours later. FTD.com acknowledged the error and apologized. They did not offer a partial refund at all, but told me that the correct bouquet would be re-delivered free of charge. *Eye roll* The entire purpose was to have them delivered on Valentine's Day. Delivering the "Valentine's Day bouquet" several days after Valentine's Day seemed pointless. Nevertheless, I was too busy with work to spend any more time on the issue, so I left it at that. Fast forward a week, and nothing. I called Flower Gallery to inquire about the second delivery, and the person I spoke to knew nothing about the issue. She said that FTD.com had not "credited" me, which basically implied that she expected them to pay for the mistake. The employee promised to get back to me after doing some more research. A couple hours later, I received a call back and was told the replacement bouquet would be delivered the following day. Overall, this was a very disappointing and time-consuming experience. I should have just been issued a partial refund to resolve the issue. More flowers after the holiday has already passed doesn't really make sense. Although the employee I spoke to was very nice, and I basically got a dozen roses for free out of the ordeal, I don't think I will be back. read more

Sammi, from Flower Gallery did an excellent job on the flower arrangements for my Dads Funeral. She was nice, and the prices were fair. The flowers were delivered on time, but most importantly the arrangements were exceptional. They exceeded our expectations and it made my Mom a little happier, and gave her one less thing to worry about, on a stressful day. read more

Couldn't be more happy with the flower arrangements for our grandmothers funeral. Sammy promised a beautiful job and that's exactly what we had and to top it off the price was quite a bit less than other shops. Thank you Sammy from the Mangipane family !! read more

I love this flower shop. Beautiful flowers at reasonable prices. I have used them for formal corsages as well as bouquets. The owner is friendly and so helpful in making any occasion special. I highly recommend read more

I order what appeared to be a lovely arrangement including orchids from the Flower Gallery's website based on the two glowing reviews I read on Yelp. This seemed like a business that really cared about customer service and it's name. My mother-in-law's birthday was on a Friday and I ordered the arrangement on a Wednesday ( for approximately $55 with delivery charge). The day the flowers were delivered it was hot and windy and the flowers were left on the front porch. ( I had included her cell phone number so they could contact her for delivery times) When she arrived home that afternoon the flowers were wilted and shriveled and pieces of the blooms had blown away. I am extremely disappointed in the service I did NOT receive and will be looking for a new florist in the Modesto area. read more

Worst customer service possible! First told me they didn't deliver my flowers, when I told them I would bring them back they suddenly remembered and made a replacement bouquet that was half the size and still contained brown dying flowers!!! Never again! Country Florist always read more

Ordered flowers (Hugs and Kisses Bouquet with Red Roses - Deluxe) for delivery for my girlfriends birthday because I was out of town. When I saw what was delivered I was very disappointed. The pictures on the website show very nice full bouquets with pretty flowers. The bouquet that was delivered was not full at all, the flowers (although all the same variety as in the picture) were tiny which made the bouquet look empty. Mind you I paid a little more for the "deluxe" version. To top it off, half the flowers were dead in two days. In my opinion the only thing they got right was the delivery. Next time I'm out of town and want to give someone flowers, I'll just have a friend buy/deliver flowers from Costco. read more

I was really happy with how all of my flower arrangements looked and was impressed with their service and how well they took care of me! All of the flower arrangements were more beautiful than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Flower Gallery!! read more

this place is the WORST!! UGLY OLD FLOWERS....I have never dealt with anyone so RUDE. Totally lack of customer Service. My bf sent me an arrangement when I open the door and saw the flowers that the delivery guy had, I said "oh no, I am not accepting these" How can the florist have this arrangement leave her store knowing how bad it is...??? I mean it was bad. so the delivery guy call the owner and I told her I was unhappy with what I saw and she said that you get what you paid for. What the hell is that suppose to mean. I mean who buys flowers anymore let alone with this economy. The lady is in no business to be running a business or working with customers, because she lacked all customer service skills. The arrangements were filled with old wilted flowers and it did not match the description that was on the invoice. How does this place stay in business? Please please don't use this florist...unless you want to raise your blood pressure when you have to deal with a Rude owner. If I can rate a minus for this place I would but yelp has you rate at least a star...so technically this place is minus 3 stars...I feel bad that my bf went thru all that trouble to sent me flowers and this lady ruined it. But I rather he get his money back then to settle and pay for crappie flowers and poor, Rude customer service. What girl would turn down and refuse flowers...??? unless they are so bad...this girl!!! read more

Samira is by far one of the best florist in Modesto! She goes above & beyond to make sure a customer gets what they ask for. Flowers are always very fresh looking as well! Samira is also wonderful to use as a florist for weddings! read more

Horrible customer service. I called to order a bunch of dahlias that would be placed on a wedding cake and the lady I spoke with couldn't be more rude. She said she did not want to waste her time ordering a single bunch of dahlias because she was a florist that makes decorations. She instead suggested I go to a grocery store. Since when do businesses turn away customers and their money?! read more

I received flowers for Mother's Day from Flower Gallery. Having a flower background myself, I am very picky. I just wanted you to know the flowers were beautiful, arrived when they were suppose to and are very fresh. Thank you read more

So here's the story, death in the family, flowers sent. Flowers confirmed delivery, but arrive two days late, wilted. Card is "we are so sorry for your loss, you're in our prayers, signed our family" with the two day old wilted flowers there are four large balloons attached, yellow smiley faces. Great work! NEVER AGAIN read more

I wanted purple stirling roses for my sick wife. I called them, and they said they had them. Yahoo. Sure enough, they didn't give me just a dozen, they gave me 14!. They arranged the flowers beautifully and added twisty sticks and a purple bow. Then they took off $10 from their price so that I would visit again. They have beautiful flowers in their shop, and they are very helpful. read more

I wasn't going to write a review about my disappointment in the arrangement i ordered for a friend but after showing my husband the photo of what i ordered and a photo of what was sent he asked me to post my complaint. After reviewing several Modesto florists websites and calling a couple of them i found a photo of an arrangement on the Flower Gallery site i really liked. Knowing that I'm picky about flowers i called the shop directly to place the order. They confirmed they could duplicate the arrangement with a minor variation in the colors of the flowers but using all the same ones pictured. The arrangement i chose was in a cute contemporary short vase with very tight bouquet of gerber daisies, roses and little green pom pom mums with very minimal green foliage. I even upgraded the order from the standard bouquet to the deluxe so they could use more flowers. It was a very cheerful bright arrangement. I was so disappointed when my friend sent me a photo of the arrangement she received. It was in an old style cheap vase filled with lots and lots of green foliage for filler. There were 5 long stem pink roses grouped on one side and 5 long stem orange gerber daisies on the other. In the middle were a few of the little green pom poms and a few little purple flowers that weren't in the original photo. After thinking it over i decided to call and just explain why i was unhappy. The woman who answered was the same one who had taken my order. When i told her i wasn't happy because the arrangement didn't look anything like the photo she said she didn't understand how i could possibly be unhappy with what they had done. She claimed that not only was it just like the photo but they had even made it better. She said the vases were slightly different but not that much and the flowers were arranged the same way. She told me she couldn't believe i was complaining when they had done such a good job. By the time i finished listening to her tell me i was unreasonable i lost it and I told her that if they couldn't copy an arrangement shown on their website any better than did they shouldn't even have photos. Never once did she say she was sorry or she understood why i felt they were different only that they had done a great job on a really simple easy arrangement and I had no reason to be upset ...URGGHHH i would never go back there or recommend them to anyone! I consider this an $83 mistake! read more

The most ugliest flowers i had ever recieved in my life. My son made the gesture of sending me a nice arrangement at the cost of 80 dollars for mothers day however i wish he would have gone to someplace else. The next morning i got up to check on them they were already dying. I proceeded to call and ask if there was any way he could be refunded i didnt even want to ask for a new arrangement at this point. I was asked if i maybe had them in the sun to long i replied no it was already evening when i recieved them not much sunlight was out and all the lady said was well no ones ever had that problem so she doesnt understand how it was possible i even told her i could bring them in so she can look at them herself and she said mam please im very busy. mind you i asked for her name she completely avoided giving it to me worst customer service and flowers ever!!!!!! read more

Worst customer service experience EVER. Unbelievable. I would like to try to find a way to rate this as a negative five stars. I placed an order last Saturday morning for same day delivery. The delivery WAS NOT made, and I received an EMAIL (not even a phone call) Sunday night that they had not been delivered. I asked that the order be canceled. I then received a phone call from my friend (who was recovering from cancer surgery), thanking me like crazy for the flowers. I was not happy, as I had asked that the order be canceled. I called customer service and told them that I would not be paying for the order, as I had asked for it to be canceled. I then received a call from my friend the next day - THE FLORIST ACTUALLY WENT TO HER HOUSE AND PICKED THE FLOWERS BACK UP. UNBELIEVABLE. Worst, worst customer service EVER. Who does that? Never in my entire life have I EVER experienced something like this before. DO NOT do business with these people. Epic fail read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I ordered through proflowers.com and the flowers that were delivered to my friend were supposed to be an "in sympathy" bouquet. I paid for "same day delivery" and even though I was sent the confirmation of delivery the flowers had not been delivered. When the flowers were delivered (the next evening) they were RED roses and RED carnations with withering white lilies... to me that does not say "sorry your loved one passed away" that says "I love you, but not enough to send you nice flowers". I was shocked at the condition of the flowers and the card was atrocious! I wish i could put a picture of it up! The words were broken from one line to the next, like they didn't even look at the card before they printed it. I would never buy from this place again. Proflowers refunded 30% of my money and resent the bouquet and card with another company. The flowers were perfect. How is this place still in business? read more

Worst. Customer. Service. EVER. My order for Mother's Day was placed with an online service, and "Flower Gallery" must be one of their local contractors for Modesto, but I bet they won't be for much longer. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, it was delivered on Monday. I called the online service regarding the error, they assured me mom could keep that set and a new set would be delivered on Wed, and a gift card would be sent for the inconvenience. However, a VERY RUDE woman from Flower Gallery took it upon herself to call my dad directly and argued with him whether the flowers would remain fresh until Sunday (doubtful!) and then state that she "could sell those flowers to someone else" and had the nerve to send the delivery guy back to their house to take them back from my mom. A new set was delivered Wednesday, and my mom is pleased with the flowers, but we are all VERY disappointed in their attitude and behavior. The online service has been notified of the poor attitude and boorish behavior of this floral shop, and is refunding 50% of my money for the fiasco. read more
