It wasn't a long wait at all, and everything moved smoothly from there. One of my favorite things about this place is their leaderboard system--it adds a fun competitive edge! They feature the top three all-time best times as well as the top three for the month, which definitely motivates you to think fast and try to beat the clock. There were several themed rooms to choose from, and you can tell a lot of thought went into designing each one. I've done about five other escape rooms at different locations, and I have to say--the system this place uses is incredibly well-integrated. The way they handle clues and game flow made the experience smooth and immersive without ever pulling us out of the action. The staff was awesome--super friendly, funny, and clearly passionate about what they do. They actually create the rooms themselves, which makes it feel even more unique and personal. At the end, we were given a stamp card so we can come back and try the other rooms--and you bet I'll be returning to get every last stamp. Instead of just speaking plainly and telling me that he wouldn't or couldn't air the tires. He looked down his nose and in a mocking tone of voice said "Ooh that bike belooongs to someoone, Whooeever that is. It'll haave too bee retuurned to them." I had no idea people did this type of activity which is a great idea. Chef Catalina has a beautiful home that she opened up for her cooking class and and is so very welcoming. Not only was she a great teacher she also had great deal of patience. To have strangers come in her home and make a mess in the kitchen. (Not that much mess :). In this cooking class she taught us to how to make Mexican Street Food. We had Al Pastor, made tortilla's, churros, and salsa from scratch. We also also made Esquites which I could not have enough of. Not only we got to watch and prep the stuff we also took part in cooking them. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet some great people. And in the end we got to enjoy the meal we prepared and I have to say it was delicious! And now I know how to make a different type of salsa. I recommend this event to anyone who enjoys cooking, eating food, and meeting new people.

Our guide, Mariah, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, art, and culture of Midtown Sacramento -- she really brought the neighborhoods to life. Every stop was delicious and unique -- from Kupros and Saigon Alley to World Famous Hot Boys, Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate, and Alaro Brew Pub -- each had its own flavor and story. The walk between stops was just as enjoyable, especially seeing the colorful Wide Open Walls murals along the way. I loved the tech they used and the whole family loved the experience. 3. Just did Containment Breach. Excellent puzzles (though the story was the weakest of the three).
