My husband and I thoroughly loved the experience! We decided to go here for a date night before dinner. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We decided to try the Bad day room, since it was our first time. They give you gloves, a face shield with a helmet, and overalls. We opted out of the overalls since we didn't want to get too hot. They explained the rules and then told us to have fun, which we did! We are planning to go back as often as we can and think it would be a funner experience to do the Bad Week room. They also offer axe throwing, and we want to try that on another visit. Just a few things to know: They are by appointment only, and you have to wear sneakers or boots.

I went to Smash Sacramento the day after Valentine's Day with some family and we did the rage room, which had an anti Valentine's Day theme and was such a fun twist. They gave everyone roses and candy and we even got to take home a really cute Polaroid, which made it feel more like an experience and not just breaking stuff. Our $140 package for three people included a small file box sized case of bottles, three wine glasses, a printer, a keyboard, and two tables to smash, and midway through we added another table and another case of beer bottles because we were having so much fun. It is genuinely a great place to let off steam and adds some novelty to life, especially if you have never done anything like this before. Everyone in our group had a good time. They only have about two or three rage rooms, so you definitely need a reservation because they book out. I have also done the axe throwing there before, which is fun but can feel a little intimidating at first. I am honestly mixed on whether it is the best date spot because you will definitely be sweating. The rooms run hot and the protective jumpsuits make it even warmer, plus you wear helmets so you need to think about your hair because a high ponytail or bun will not fit well. It is open to ages 12 and up, and you can bring your own items to break, but you do have to pay a fee to bring them in. Overall, it is a fun, high energy experience that is perfect if you want something different to do in Sacramento. they also have so many fun little tools to destroy stuff. customer service is pretty good. not outrageously good but everyone is respectful! I'd recommend if you haven't tried it!

This was our first visit to this location, we usually break stuff at the Citrus Heights location. We took a group of first timers and they had a blast! Great way to work through whatever is on your mind and get some aggression out. Customer service was excellent, thanks for having us!

Lots of parking. Extremely nice and informative staff. Lots of safety protocol, which was quite appreciated. Good variety of things to smash. Perfect rock music to go with smash time. Love that you can sign waivers and rsvp online with quick email confirmation. A but expensive, but worth the one time experience. This was our first time here and won't be our last. They also had axe throwing as well, but we didn't have an opportunity to try that out. Maybe in the future.

My friend and I visited Smash Sacramento's downtown location and opted for the 20-minute rage room session for $36. (The larger the group the more time is given). Initially, we thought 20 minutes wouldn't be enough, but we were pleasantly surprised. By the end, we were completely worn out and had smashed everything within the time limit! It was an exhilarating and incredibly fun experience, and I would absolutely return for another session. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor, which added to the overall vibe of the place. The location itself isn't very large, but there's still plenty of space for all the activities offered, which include rage rooms ranging from $36 up to $75 depending on what you would like to smash and $20 axe throwing. One thing we noticed was the sound of smashing from nearby rooms. While it added to the chaotic atmosphere in a funny way, the rooms themselves were quite worn down (ofc due to the activities that they involve), with mesh cloth as the "ceiling." This made it feel less private than we expected. Since this was my first time trying an activity like this, I'm not sure how it compares to other venues, so it wasn't a major issue especially since I still had a great time, but I would appreciate a bit more privacy in the future. Overall, Smash Sacramento is a great place for letting loose and trying something different. If you're looking for a unique way to blow off steam or simply have a good laugh with friends, this is definitely worth checking out!

A group of 4 of us came here a while back. It was SO fun!!! It was actually a very difficult day so this activity was scheduled perfectly. Lol Make sure you wear close toed shoes, long sleeve and long pants. Can't remember how much we paid. I think close to $300 for maybe an hour in a half?? Either way, we all had so much fun. Definitely need to come back and smash some stuff!

Came here for a team building outing - super helpful and easy to work with. We had a team of seven they equipped us all with helmets, safety goggles, overalls and a training safety lesson. Most of the smash balls are glass, bottles, old printers, windshields. "Weapons" of choice baseball bats, crowbars, even a paint gun. 1/2 hour session was just right. Easy parking in the lot and a great coffee shop two doors down.

Such a fun thing to do! I made a reservation for ace throwing for two on the website which was very easy to do. This location is smaller and has a smash room as well. I don't realize how small it was inside - the stalls for the axe throwing were next to each other - there's only about 4 stalls and a few feet away were all the rooms for smashing and so it was pretty loud with people breaking stuff and yelling. They play music but it's hard to ignore that lol. However, the instructor was nice, he showed us how to use each axe and what and what not to do and honestly one hour flew by so fast! My arm did get pretty tired but it was a first for the both of us and we enjoyed it!

I surprised my bf and brought him here for one of his birthday celebration activity in Sacramento. We both never done any smash room before, so this was definitely a first time experience. I booked the deluxe rage room package for two: We were provided the jumpsuits, gloves, helmet with face shield and several weapons such as ax, baseball bats, golf club, paintball gun... etc. It was a super fun experience and it does get hot in the room since we were moving a lot and smashing windshield, one printer, and several glass bottles. We even got a Polaroid offered by the friendly worker there since I told them it's for my bf's birthday. Love the wide Polaroid and the stickers they gave me ~~

Such a fun, quick, adventurous experience! So, each session is 20 minutes (I think 30 would be perfect!). We paid for the package that comes with the paint gun, so cool! We were also provided with a crate of glass bottles, a printer, and a windshield. With the amount of stuff, the 20min makes sense because you go through it fast. The cool part is they let you connect your phone to a speaker, it really can be a vibe or a great rage session lol Jumpsuits are provided but not required If your wearing covered clothing, but you do have to wear their face shields and helmet. I definitely recommend to try it out!

Pretty sure my my surprise date was a 10/10 Came here with my partner in crime for a date night and would definitely do it again. To start, purchased this session off Grroupon and I have to say things did not begin well. Long story short: Groupon said I redeemed the offer and left me in a pickle. Insert the amazing service I got from the staff at this location, they were not only able to remedy the situation but I actually ended up being able to upgrade for no additional charge. My man was a maniac but I think he loved being able to release some much needed tension and smash a bunch of stuff. Loved that they had a place for your phone to record the shenanigans. Way to think ahead!!! The time went by fast.... But time flies when you're having fun right. Overall I will most definitely recommend doing a smash room and especially this place. While the Groupon is no longer available for the smash room it was available for the ax throwing last I checked.

Located at the end of Broadway, near highway 5. Private parking available. 30 minutes seems short but it really is all that you need. It's a great workout and the price is very reasonable. We were a party of 6 and it came to about $23 per person. I believe they are currently running weekend specials on their site. It was summer, so most of us showed up in shorts and short sleeves. I was under the impression that they would provide protective gear, like a jumpsuits, as I have seen in videos at other locations, but I was wrong. So, take note, wear long pants & long sleeve shirt if you don't want to get hit by flying debris. Overall, it was pretty fun! I would be very careful if you are bring small children.

The phone in the room was always there in case we got stuck (and in 1-2 instances where it was actually possibly a mechanical function issue), so HIGHLY recommend you use that if you think you need assistance. It wasn't a long wait at all, and everything moved smoothly from there. One of my favorite things about this place is their leaderboard system--it adds a fun competitive edge! They feature the top three all-time best times as well as the top three for the month, which definitely motivates you to think fast and try to beat the clock. There were several themed rooms to choose from, and you can tell a lot of thought went into designing each one. I've done about five other escape rooms at different locations, and I have to say--the system this place uses is incredibly well-integrated. The way they handle clues and game flow made the experience smooth and immersive without ever pulling us out of the action. The staff was awesome--super friendly, funny, and clearly passionate about what they do. They actually create the rooms themselves, which makes it feel even more unique and personal. At the end, we were given a stamp card so we can come back and try the other rooms--and you bet I'll be returning to get every last stamp. Highly recommend this spot for both first-timers and seasoned escape room fans.

When I first walked in, I immediately noticed all of the natural light coming into the room. It really added to the outdoorsy ambiance. The employee at the front desk was super friendly and was quick to get me set up. As for equipment, grabbing shoes was easy (pulled them out of the storage cubes to the left of the front desk), and they provided a harness as well. I'm not sure if the staff normally does the walkthrough on tying a proper knot, since my friend and his friend did it for me. Nonetheless, I do like that they have that area separate from the main climbing area. Helps to take the pressure off a little bit if you're new. There seemed to be dozens of different climbing paths to choose from, with signs at the bottom indicating the level of difficulty. I found that particularly helpful since, as a newbie, everything looked hard. Also, the people I observed and interacted with on the floor were extremely friendly. Really great vibes coming from the community here. The pricing, based on information from my friend, seemed reasonable, since it included the gym and classes. However, I live in Elk Grove, so I probably will stick to visiting this place only now and then. Recommend giving it a try, though!

When we walked in she was nice but our waiver was filled out incorrectly, which was on us for not reading properly but her tone was nasty. She gave us attitude at first but we let it slip since we were wrong. However when we went back with our CORRECT waiver. She started being super rude to my friend who was stuttering a bit. The reason why he was stuttering was because as we gave her our name she kept giving us like looks like we were speaking another language or something. The final straw was when she loudly and rudely cut off my friend just to say " SORRY? I cant understand you." First of all I don't understand why staff cant be patient with new comers. Second my friend was speaking perfectly fine with some minor stuttering, if she cant even handle that the she shouldn't be working. Third, we are minors just trying to have fun so I don't understand why she was acting like the child. Also to clarify one more time, we are new to this so we don't understand some rock climbing terms, when we were asked about the payment and equipment we thought we could buy the whole bundle. As I was about to tell her we wanted the bundle she mentioned something we didn't understand so we asked her what that meant. Instead of explaining she repeated the word again but loudly, like that explains what it is. Instead of being a patient kind person she pushed her tasks to the sweet man who was KIND ENOUGH to explain everything to us, he was patient and understanding when I said sorry that we were confused. The rock climbing experience is fun, but the service was horrible coming from that lady with a bob cut at the front. Never coming here again and would not recommend to anyone tbh. I hope this reaches the boss or workers and I hope you guys become more patient with new customers.
