But no she said we could not join them in line even though many other people had jumped the fence to get in line with their friends RIGHT in front of her but she just so happened to tell us we couldn't just go with our family, we even asked which many other people did not do but we were targeted I felt very humiliated and degraded which after the whole situation she saw people cut the line and said nothing yet had the urge to call us out this whole situation felt very unfair and uncomfortable.

I love a good spin and flip ride, but when the flips and spins come one right after the other and don't seem to stop, that's when you lose me. I was surprised they didn't have more in between roller coasters, ones that weren't just for 7 year olds or the ultimate thrill seekers. I've been to Great America a ton and was expecting some more options like that. We came at Christmas time and were pleasantly surprised to see how great they decorated the place. It was so festive and fun to see. I loved the gingerbread village and the reindeer roundup. It was a cold rainy weekday when we were here, so the park was pretty empty and we didn't have to wait for anything. In fact, each time a ride ended they offered you to stay on and ride again without even having to move. We waited in line to buy tickets for just that day and luckily the guy at the window told us they were about half the cost if you got them online, which we were able to do on the spot on our phones. Kinda strange that the cost to buy in person is so much more than buying online, but we were very thankful that was shared with us.

If you're in…read moreSacramento with little ones, this is easily one of the best ways to spend a morning or afternoon. You can easily spend half a day here without anyone getting bored. What We Loved Immersive Play: The range of play structures is incredible. Our kids were obsessed with the recreations of famous children's books--walking through Mr. McGregor's Farm felt like stepping right into a storybook. Animals & Nature: Beyond the slides and climbing, the petting zoo and the peaceful Japanese pond (Urashima Taro) provided a great change of pace for the kids. Interactive Learning: The children's theatre is a gem. They have dedicated storytime and puppet shows that kept the toddlers completely engaged. Why It's a Must-Visit What makes this place even more amazing is that it's a non-profit. Knowing that your $10 admission (an absolute steal for the quality of the park!) goes back into maintaining such a creative space for the community makes the experience even better. It's right across from the Sacramento Zoo, so you can make a full day of it in Land Park if you have the energy! Perfect for ages 1-6, but even older kids will enjoy the nostalgia and creative structures.

Amusement park in Sac (Land Park)…read more Currently, admission is $10/person. (Kids under two are free.) They also have some member options that are worth it if you plan to go frequently. Parking can get a bit difficult, since it's also close to the Zoo and Funderland. There are areas to slide, climb, and play. Also, there are animals (goats, rabbits, chickens/rooster, ox, mini horse, pigs) inside. The gift shop mostly contains generic items that don't say Fairytale Town, which don't make for the best of souvenirs. If you've never been here before, you can likely count on your kid enjoying at least a couple of hours here before getting bored. I'd say it's geared more for the younger children...older kids would probably benefit more from visiting the other two nearby attractions.

It's a great place for little ones to burn off energy, and the overall atmosphere felt lively and kid-focused. One thing we really appreciated was the included arcade games--it was a nice bonus and gave us a fun little break between jumping sessions. That said, some of the inflatables were a bit worn down and discolored, which made parts of the space look like they could use a refresh. It didn't stop the kids from having fun, but it was noticeable. I also felt the price was a little steep--about $40 for myself, my 3-year-old, and a pair of socks for 90 minutes of jumping. Overall, it was still a really enjoyable experience and my child had a blast, which is what matters most. If the inflatables were updated a bit and the pricing adjusted, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

We had 35 minutes of play in the space world and then moved over to 35 more minutes at the candy land. Then we moved on to the private party room for 50 minutes. The host would use a siren when it was time to move to the next room and to guide us over.  I'm thoroughly impressed with the way Wacky Tacky handles birthday parties. They clearly know what they're doing. The host took care of everything which took the stress away from me. She set up the room, put my favors and cupcakes out. She served pizza, cupcakes, and used gloves to serve! She even sanitized all the kids' hands before eating. I love how they take cleanliness and good hygiene very seriously. Plates, forks, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth, hand sanitizer, were all provided.  Food orders do have to be made in advance, but I was able to add juice boxes and soda while I was there. Pizza came delivered close to the time it was time to move into the party room and was kept in the heated bag, so the pizza was actually still hot when it was time to be served.  Wacky Tacky was highly recommended to me for birthday parties, and I can see why. Definitely recommend to host a birthday party here! It's very organized. They even played a personalized happy birthday song to my son which I thought added such a nice thoughtful touch.  My son loves going here for open play as well. It's a great place for him to run and climb that isn't weather dependent since it's indoors.

We paid $500 for an all-inclusive birthday package, but from start to finish, the staff made it clear that they couldn't have cared less. The entire event was chaotic, uncoordinated, and stressful. There was no assigned party host, only a disengaged food server in the party room who offered little to no communication. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning

We've been to extravagant light shows, like Luminaria Lights at the Botanical Gardens in Southern Cali, so that was our comparison and we honestly weren't expecting much with Imaginarium. Really happy that we decided to give this a shot! It was held at the Cal Expo so parking is extremely generous. However, we went on a Thursday evening in early December to avoid the crowds and I, for one, absolutely appreciated not having any lines or difficulty going in and out of the parking lot. Hardly anyone was there on a Thursday evening on the first week of December but I can imagine it would've been annoyingly packed if we went during rush season closer to Christmas or weekends. Pretty hilarious how we initially thought the front entrance exhibits and cute little photoshoot setups were it, until we walked past some food vendors to be shocked and awed at the enormous amount of creative setups they had in the main staging area. There was even a little circus act for some entertainment! Enjoy your time with family, walk around to your leisure, and they even had lots of neat room setups to experience. The kids enjoyed the art exhibit the most where they could color in beautifully drawn artistry with chalk! Santa was available for photos towards the exit.m at no charge. Nice! Tipped him, of course, to care for his elves and reindeer. Biggest tip is to be aware of where the restrooms are in case any urgencies arise. We found them to be to the right of the main area once we passed the food vendors thanks to friendly staff and security personnel. Highly recommended for everyone around the Sacramento and Roseville area, near and far! Great for families, dates, solos, and friends. Security is tight since it's Cal Expo so it felt rather safe for our family. Lovely organized event and enjoyed a magical evening surrounded be a wonderment of lights and glamor! (Is wonderment even a word? I don't know, but if fits the bill for Imaginarium for sure)
