Had a great time on the Old Sacramento Tour. Annie was a great guide and we learned lots of history of Sacramento even though we have lived here over 20 years and tried food from restaurants we have never eaten at. Can't wait to do another tour.

I had the opportunity to take a vantage of a SacTown bites tour with a group of fantastic an amazing group of women. We explored many places that Sacramento has to offer that I never even knew about. Had the opportunity to taste and drink some amazing food and drink options. It was a beautiful day to get some steps in as well as a great opportunity to meet new people in life and experience with the city of Sacramento has to offer as you can see in my mini of photos. I will partake in another one of these tours in the very near future! I had a blast

Such a great little way to spend a half day! A few girlfriends and I took the 4 hour Taste of the Delta tour and had fun; it was a chill day of friends and sipping wine. We toured a cute little pear cider orchard where we met the owner (did you know pear cider isn't called cider, it's called Perry?), a great little eatery winery where we met the winemaker, and a cool winery with live music and a small charcuterie. The tastings were generous at all locations, and there were bathrooms at every stop. The guide was fun, knowledgeable, and relaxed. The venues were friendly and open to questions. You drive your own car and are able to take photos along the way. I will not only be back to the wineries we visited but will definitely take another SacTown Bites tour again!

Although one of the hottest days of the year, Heather at SacTown Bites carefully planned every detail of the Sunflowers, Bees, and Brunch tour ensuring that it was an absolute pleasure. There were so many things to please the eye, intellect, or belly. I look forward to my next adventure with SacTown Bites!

I booked the "Taste of the Delta" tour for my friend's bachelorette party. Heather at SacTown Bites was wonderful to work with. She was easy to get a hold of and even helped me get a cake from Freeport Bakery to end the tour with. Heather was a wonderful wealth of knowledge, and it was like she was a part of the group :) She took pictures for us and sent them the next day for me to share with the ladies. The Cidery and Winery were wonderful, and the lunch was fantastic -- BEST CORNBREAD PUDDING I've ever had. I'm looking forward to booking another tour soon!

So many sunflowers! We always look at them as we drive by on the freeway and we finally got to see them up close!

I treated my family to the Sunflower tour and brunch last week as an early celebration for my mom's birthday. Overall, Heather curated a unique and wonderful experience. We started the morning in a sunflower field and learned about the uses and other information. Then, we went to the California Ag Museum nearby and had charcuterie and wine. The tour was great and we also got to sample local honey while learning about it from the beekeepers at Boujikian family apiary themselves. The varieties of honey we were able to sample were delicious! After that, we were treated to brunch at Savory cafe in downtown Woodland. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience because we were able to support local businesses while learning about different agricultural industries in the valley, I can't wait to do more tours with SacTownBites!

Sunflowers, bees and brunch was much more than I expected! From a honey tasting to learning so much about bees ( I truly never put a lot of thought into them, but I am amazed at what we learned!) . We have all heard of wine tastings, but a honey tasting? The honey was wonderful. There are a host of variables making each unique in its own way. Thank you and a shout out to Solabee honey. I feel bad I can't remember the young ladies name who talked about bees but she was a wonderful addition to the experience. Sunflowers. For me it was about the sunflower! Years of hearing about them I finally got to get up close and personal. What a treat. We were able to go into the fields with them ( and all the ) to take pictures. ( do NOT do this without an invitation from the farmer!) so amazing!!! Then we enjoyed a wine tasting from Turkovich family winery., at the Agricultural Museum. Pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the wine was. ( bought a few bottles to take home) . Learned a few things about farming and they had some wonderful displays of vintage farming equipment. Then off to Savory Cafe where chef /owner Juan Barajas prepared us an incredible brunch . Fresh salad, avacado toast and eggs Benedict to die for! We topped it off with deep fried cheese cake. Thank you Heather and everyone who helped put this amazing day together! And the gift bag at the end was icing on the cake. Highly recommend! Well worth the drive from Reno. We will definitely be back to try more events.

We tried five different places that she chose based on the group's preferences. We had a cocktail, a coffee drink, a dessert, and a few different dishes from midtown restaurants. I never felt full (the F word!) but I was happily satisfied at the end. I had never eaten at any of these places so now I know more great places to try. Dawnie has an amazing depth of knowledge about the area, the food scene, and the history of our Farm to Fork capital. She loves the city and it shows in how she highlights it in her tour. The biggest surprise for me was the street art. I had never noticed these murals nor did I realize we had a history of street art and unique festivals. I will definitely be checking those out more in the future! I hope to do more of their tours and explore other parts of the city in the future!

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!…read more We booked back at the end of July. This is our first time going with this business, usually we book with Sac Brew Bike. The night went pretty decent, I thought about booking with them in the future because their rules are pretty lenient... HOWEVER, after what I have encountered, I will NEVER EVER book with them again and I'll make sure anyone who asked me about brew bikes... I will share them my experience with THIS business. They care for making money off of you and then treat you like garbage right after. I understand a business is trying to get it's bag, but at least have some human decency. It's not like we treated the driver and the host bad at all--we offered them the alcohol that we brought with us and offered food that we ordered at one of the stops we made, left several boxes of alcohol for them at the end, and on top of that tipped very well. We wanted to make sure that everyone (including the employees) is having a good time because it's not the easiest thing to be in the heat, bike, and deal with people at times. I get that it's their job and they signed up for it, but it's just nice to see everyone around you having a good time. Let's proceed to what happened... shall we? As we started biking, the employee told us that we can leave our jacket on the hanger on the inside because there isn't one on the outside (where we are sitting). I proceed to do so, thinking nothing of it because I know it'll be safe there as we get on and off the bike. Arriving to our last destination, we all hopped off and a few minutes later... I realized that I have forgot my jacket on the bike. My friend who booked the bike called them immediately and they picked up-- informing my friend that they see the jacket AND that I can pick it up first thing in the morning. Fast forward to the morning. I drove down to the address listed on yelp...I pulled up and guess what? I couldn't find the building for "Off the Chain Bike Bus Tour." I thought I was at the wrong location... I had to second guess myself and walked back and forth to see if I have missed the building. Keep in mind, I know downtown sac like the back of my hand-- I go out extremely often and even work in dt. It led me to the address of a restaurant that has been shut down and chained up. It didn't felt right. I got confused... so I called up the number. The owner picked up, he informed me that they are only out there if someone books with them and the next time he is out here, he will check or have his guys check the bike. I left it at that and followed up more towards the end of the week. Here is where the math ain't mathing... So, how come the staff said that they saw the jacket and that I can pick it up the next morning? When there isn't even a location for this business (I forgive about there not being a location). However, it doesn't make sense... if they were to store the bikes away and come out for the next customer, wouldn't the jacket still be on the bike? Unless... one of the staff took it and the owner is covering them. As you may wonder... what type of jacket is this? why would someone steal a jacket? It's a ZARA jacket... so, I guess it's worth having sticky fingers over. I followed up again today. The owner picked up and I asked about my jacket. He came at me rude... saying "You called us 3-4 times. There is nothing we can do." Sounds super defensive to me; you know people don't act defensive for no reason. The response is super ignorant as a business owner. I informed him how unprofessional it was for his staff to provide misinformation and how it played out in general. He said "there is miscommunication," and that's it. Like that's all he can say to me as a customer? OH OKAY. I understand people lose stuff all the time. I wouldn't be upset if I placed it at a bar and then accidentally forgot about my jacket. However, I was informed that they see the jacket AND that I can pick it up the next morning... but when I try to pick up the jacket, my jacket is no where to be found. It makes no sense at all...

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing due to poor communication, lack of signage, and unprofessional customer service. We followed the instructions exactly as stated in the confirmation email and arrived at 1206 L Street, next to Joe's Crab Shack, as instructed. The email stated we were to be at the dock by 10:45 AM for the 11:00 AM tour, and we arrived at 10:40 AM along with several other guests. No staff members were present at the dock, and there was no one available to check anyone in. We waited until around 11:10 AM, during which time multiple customers double-checked their emails and confirmed we were all at the correct location. One guest even called the company to inform them that several customers were waiting with no staff present. At approximately 11:10 AM, the woman working the ticket stand arrived for her shift. At that point, we were told that a different location had supposedly been included in the purchase email. However, all of us had the same instructions, and the address we were given also matches what appears on Google Maps and Apple Maps. There were no signs, no arrows, and no posted instructions anywhere explaining how to access the dock or where the boat was actually boarding. When my partner and I spoke with the woman at the ticket counter, the situation became even more frustrating. She was argumentative and immediately blamed customers, insisting we had not read the email correctly. She refused to review the email we showed her and would not take accountability for the incorrect or unclear instructions. Instead of acknowledging the confusion or offering assistance, she spoke to customers in a rude and dismissive manner. We were explicitly given two options: 1. Move our experience to a later time 2. Receive a refund Because we had other commitments and did not have the time or patience to go back and forth arguing over money, we requested the refund. However, it became unclear whether the employee had the authority or knowledge to issue refunds. The interaction turned into repeated back and forth, and rather than continuing to argue, we disengaged. We were then told we would be partially compensated for only one ticket, despite having purchased three tickets. No explanation was provided as to why only one ticket would be refunded, and the employee stated that there was no way to leave a note or documentation regarding this promise. Because nothing was documented, we have little confidence that this compensation will actually occur. What made this experience even worse is that the boat left without any staff coming to locate the guests who were waiting at the dock. Some customers eventually figured out where the boat was docked, but by then it had already departed, leaving no opportunity to participate. Overall, we wasted our time traveling to the location, waiting well past the scheduled departure, and attempting to resolve an issue that was not caused by the customers. Mistakes happen. That is understandable. What is not acceptable is: * Incorrect or unclear instructions * No signage directing guests * Staff arriving late for check-in * Offering a refund without the ability or willingness to issue one * Promising compensation without documentation * Poor, dismissive customer service This was a terrible first impression for us and several other first-time guests. While we will attempt the tour again to see if the experience itself redeems the company, I am not optimistic based on how this situation was handled. The company needs to update their emails, provide clear signage, ensure staff arrive on time, and properly train ticket counter employees on customer service, accountability, and refund procedures, especially when errors originate within the company.

I'll start from he beginning cause there's alot to unfold in this review. We met up at the Napa Valley wine train at 5:30 am. Don't be late cause a few people were and we were waiting on them. They give you your itinerary and you sign a waiver , and the. You meet your pilot. They drove us in their vans to the take off point which was off the train track. See the video, it was amazing. I was worried that the wind might be to much fir the too lift off, but they said if they can't, they have alternative locations. Once we got I'm the air it was very smooth and very relaxing. There we about 20 people in our basket. Not alot of room, but keep in mind your not going to move around in the balloon basket . We rose up in the ir and went where the wind took us. After our pilot explained everything to us we were confident he knew what he was doing . He even took us inside a hillside where we were able to get close to some trees . Landing was pretty smooth. They picked up up with their vans and drive us back. And this is where it goes from 4 stars to 5. We purchase the champagne package which I highly recommend. We got to share a bottle of champagne with our pilot and he told us all about the first hot air ballon, which was way before airplanes , and explained to us where the name Pilot came from. Overall , it was a great end to a great experience and I highly recommend it .

We the weather being so unpredictable we had to wait. I was fine with wait because i do value my life. I had the chance to cross off a major item from my bucket list. A hot air balloon ride and wow, what an experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking. Floating high above the landscape, seeing everything from a completely new perspective, was truly magical. The sunrise was especially beautiful as we drifted along, and the silence up there, broken only by the loud occasional burst of the burner, was unlike anything I've ever experienced. That said, there were a few things to consider. The heat from the burner can be overwhelming, especially if you're not prepared for it. I didn't wear a hat, and I really wish I had and i am short 5'2 those blasts of hot air can get pretty intense when they hit you directly! So, if you're planning this trip, definitely bring something to cover your head. The landing was a bit of a wild ride, too. The ground was much harder and more uneven than I expected, and we didn't quite know where we'd land until we were almost on top of it. Also getting in and out can be extremely challenging. It's hard climbing into and out of the basket and it's very tightly packed. Not a lot of space to move. I knew the risks going in but the whole experience was so worth it. Even with those little surprises, it was absolutely incredible. Would I do it again? Definitely not! Despite the heat and the bumpy landing, the beauty of the experience makes it all worthwhile and a one timer for me. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something unique and unforgettable to add to your list of adventures. Just don't forget your hat!

We of course loved his British accent & humor, along with his knowledge and expertise. Now to the wineries.... We live in Sacramento, but had never been to the wineries in Amador thus a new adventure awaited us. We first stopped at Iron Hub, which was so peaceful and filled with delicious wines. My favorite was Semillion 2023. From there we went to RomBauer where Paul brought food for us as we tasted more yummy wines. The venue was so inviting with the big oaks and ample sitting. Our third stop was Armador Cellars, an organic and natural venue that felt grounding and intimate. It was a perfect place to end our wind tour. My favorite wine there was the Barbera 2021, so scumpty & smooth! After a lot of wine, we needed food and that is where Taste (that's the restaurant) came into play. Holy moly, this is a Must if you are in the area. I'm vegan, but my husband and our friends are not. That being said, Taste caters to both and oh my goodness every bite in the 3-course dinner was amazing. I ate everything, which rarely happens. Our server, Bess, was absolutely perfect in every way. I'm looking forward to eating there again soon. Thank you for a wonderful adventure, Paul! Excited to tour with you again on our next winery excursion!!!!!

I saw an advertising online for this place, so it was perfect timing. When we walked in, we were greeted by 3 generations of lovely ladies. All really sweet and bubbly. We were told to pick out our favorite animal to ride and learned their funny nicknames. Then we were given the do's and don't for the ride. This was a night time tour, so we were able to experience the booming nightlife of downtown and ride by some local hotspots. I have been to Napa several times during the day time, but the night time happenings is sooo much better. The animal scooters were so much fun! Picture a bunch of adults acting like kids in a playground lol. Our tour guide even let us race them against each other. An hour and a half worth of shenanigans from the beginning to the end. It doesn't get any better than that. This place is a MUST do and a MUST go!!

We learned so many tidbits about Napa, and the best part... they allowed my little French Bulldog to join in on the fun while sitting in her front carrier. I would highly recommend this fun and unique activity to anyone who would like to learn and see downtown Napa creatively. Scooting by pedestrians and seeing everyone smile as we passed by, and getting a little pastry treat on our morning tour were also highlights. Don't take my word for it... you should check it out for yourself!
