Especially with alcohol involved, the 8 hour day was stress free and so much fun because of the driver. After drop off, we made sure to do our part and clean up after ourselves. A time was had, and even after the travel, the owner reached out making sure it was a great experience. They are super convenient to pop in and out of the Tuk-Tuk because there's no doors or windows. (Of course you need to put your seat belts on.) The Tuk-Tuk size is smaller than a car and quick bursts of speed make the ride exciting, especially when motorcycles zooming by us when we were crossing the Tower Bridge. But the ride is also relaxing, when the winds blowing in our faces . The Tuk-Tuk has a capacity to carry 6 people. So it's very roomy for the four of us. Manushi was our Murals Sacramento tour guide and she was amazing. We saw so many murals we would not noticed before. My daughter said that she walked many times around the building where Johnny Cash mural is located and ate dumplings at one end of the said building. But she never noticed the Johnny Cash mural before. After Manushi pointed out the first few murals to us, then we started to pay attention to the areas around us and started to notice all those beautiful murals. And those different styles of painting on those electrical boxes! Manushi shared with us the history of some of the murals or names of some of the famous people featured. She also told us about her experiences when she encountered some of the artists either as a tourist on her Tuk-Tuk or in the midst of their paintings. I appreciated those stories and was feeling the moments of her excitements. We learned a lot and laughed a lot during the tour. It's a fun and informative tour, great way to see downtown/ midtown and experience the full breath of the city for the locals and visitors alike. It helped us to exploring the city and seeing the local businesses particularly the restaurants and cultural events such as the Wide Open Walls, an annual festival that brings together local, national, and international artists to paint large-scale public art. We all felt like the tour reignited our desire to do more arts!! We ended the tour with ice cream treats at LILUTLANTS, Gourmet Hawaiian Shave Ice. Cherry on top.

So the story goes... I bought two tickets to his New Years event. $79.00 each. The event was cancelled, shut down by the city for not having the proper licenses. No notice... people showed up and were told it was cancelled. (Found out it was just the liquor license... party could have happened anyway, just no wine.) Grady blamed his vendor, but in an email, still said it was his responsibility. It was. Belive it or not, I am a forgiving person. Grady gave away some bottles of Champagne at the door to upset patrons and promised a refund. Hey, crap happens, and I still proposed to Amazing that night upstairs. :D We took our bottle over to the Sheraton bar and chilled for New Years. All in all a great night anyway. On January 2nd comes the email from Grady. We can take a full refund for our $79 tickets, or take tickets to his February event (which he was selling for $59.) OK Grady. How bad at math do you think I am? I respond the next day saying I'd like a full refund. I don't hear back. 2 weeks later I send another email. "When will I get my refund?" I don't hear back. A month later I call and leave a message. I don't hear back. March 13th I send an angry email telling him I'm going to sue him if he doesn't refund my money and I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I finally get a refund the next week with this message: "Michah, Your refund for $158.00 was processed. I apologize for the delay. Sincerely, Grady" Can't even spell my name right. For god sakes, it's in my email address. I encourage everyone to make sure this crook never sees a dime of yours. I don't care if his events that do go on are fun. Anyone who would keep your money if you don't threaten court shouldn't be in business.

I went on an underground tour of Pendleton, Oregon and few years back and thought this would be similar. Instead we walked around above ground looking at old buildings and then spent about 5 to 10 minutes in an old basement and learned about how they used jacks to pick up the buildings after a great flood back in the 1800s. On the bright side, the tour guide was very friendly and informative. If you're looking for a quick hour long historical tour, this is recommended, but don't expect too much underground stuff, you won't get it.
