I went in for a much needed 90 minute Therapeutic Massage after caring for my sweet but sick…read moregrandchild for a few days. He's better now but hey, it gets tougher being agile and strong enough to outlast a toddler as one gets older There is plenty of parking and it's easy to find as it is part of the shops and restaurants in the Regal Plaza. The waiting area is calm with huge mural in the center. Each end has a service desk so you can be helped more privately. The space is long and narrow, but doesn't feel closed in as it wall to wall windows and north facing so even in the dead of summer it is probably pleasant. If you need a quick energy and hydration boost I noticed a small refrigerator where you can purchase some drinks and snacks. Craig Maxfield is a therapist that I saw many years ago and I was grateful that my daughter (who is also in the profession) found he works there about three days a week! What a God send! He took absolutely amazing care of my particular aches and pains. This professional knows how to approach and read the body and stays in open communication while he is treating you, to make adjustments so that you are always comfortable. The therapy room, bathrooms and circulation are laid out efficiently and appointed in calming colours and decor to set the intention for healing and restoration. The temperature of the room and the table were also very comfortable. I will definitely be going back!

I've consistently had great experiences here, which is why I've continued supporting this business for so long. The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I walked in, and that's why I've remained a loyal customer for so many years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers--especially members--was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massages has never been the issue. I sincerely hope they reconsider this policy, because it's the one thing that's making me think twice about continuing as a member.

My girlfriend was kind enough to book and prepay for a 90-minute deep tissue massage for me, and decided to book one for herself at the same time. The first 45 minutes were spot on. The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. Terrible customer service, zero care for a client in pain, and completely unprofessional management. I would never recommend Thai Spa on Eastern Ave.

I haven't seen Kevin for a massage in over 9 months, so after I had my daughter, I booked an appointment with Kevin for a 90 min massage. Kevin is now at Siena Neck and Back, right on Horizon Ridge and Sandy Ridge. The office is so comfy, clean and pristine, and very comfortable. Just a perfect place for that relaxation needed. I had my usual, the deep tissue/trigger point, followed by reflexology. When Kevin was done with my right side, it was like jello. My knots were massaged out. I can totally feel the difference between the massaged right side, to my stiff, knotty left side. Wow! When Kevin finished with my left side, my entire body felt so relaxed. Kevin offers several scents of aromatherapy for your choosing. I picked the Jasmine over the lavender, grapefruit, and eucalyptus for the massage. Also, you get to chose what station you want on Pandora for your session, how awesome is that? Hip hop, R&B, Jack Johnson, Yanni, or just the ocean waves, whatever... I chose the ocean waves. What a lovely way to spend my first mother's day. Thank you, Kevin!

From my experience I am going to list pro & cons; CONS: 1…read more This massage club is not for the budget minded individual, 2. Listed prices on the wall is not what will be quoted to you (don't know why), 3. Be careful where you want the masseuse to concentrate, they tend to overdue it ( but you asked for it), 4. Medium pressure must mean something entirely different to the Asians (be careful) PROS: 1. Masseuse was friendly and did concentrate on areas of concern ( my case neck and lower back), 2. Time limit was adhered to without cutting out any time, 3, Decor was pleasant, music soft, room temperature good ( not too cold or hot), I hope this helps some of you, strictly my opinion, thank you

This is an upscale Japanese (not Chinese)/Asian massage spa. Nice decor and upscale dressed staff…read more This was my 2nd time there. The massage that I had was great! The table was very comfortable (most Asian massage tables are too hard for me) and has a head cradle instead of a hole in the table. The staff that I met was very nice. The negative comments that I have read seem to be from people that are not knowledgeable about Asian massage spas. To address some of the negative comments: Almost all Asian spas that I have gone to ask for a "tip" upfront. It's why the advertised prices are so low. The $ that I paid, including the upfront tip, for a 90 minute massage was appropriate for an upscale place like this. If you are polite the people you talk to are nice to you too. From my experience with just about every Asian spa that I have visited they say "we are busy" when they don't have any availability at that time. It's because of their limited English, not because they are being rude. Most Asian spas don't have a receptionist. That's how they keep their prices low. It is common for your massage person to have to answer the phone or door during your massage. The only negative thing is that their advertised price, including what they quote over the phone, doesn't include the mandatory tip. If you walk in to make an appointment for a later time they tell you the full price upfront. As a Japanese Asian spa they do not do reflexology foot treatments (massages) From my experience in Japan it is customary for female staff to only massage male clients and male staff to massage female clients. It's not sexist. It's cultural.
