Michael has been an awesome instructor! My husband and I signed up for the virtual private lessons to prep for our wedding and have been having the BEST time. With two kids under 10 we don't get out much and have found so much joy in taking FLOW lessons with Michael that we plan to continue our journey post wedding. We went to Flow in preparation for our first dance at our wedding. I have NO rhythm...my now husband, definitely had me there, but we both had a ways to go. We had SO MUCH fun with Michael and learned a lot. From the very first lesson establishing our connection the ground, the music, and each other, I definitely felt like I was going to "get it". Although I'm hardly headed to star in a re-make of Strictly Ballroom (how good was that movie?!!) or Silver Linings Playbook, our first dance turned out so great and we plan on heading back to continue lessons in the new year. Michael is a very talented and experienced teacher. The first couple of sessions at Flow were challenging for me as I had zero dance experience but Michael really breaks it down and makes you feel comfortable. The studio is very well maintained and spacious. His method of teaching helps you learn to "feel" the dance so you are not a programmed robot, counting/memorizing steps, remembering when to turn etc. I never felt overwhelmed as Michael encourages, complements and teaches so well. Mike helped me and our husband learn our first dance for our wedding and he was such a gem to work with. His combination of talent, patience, curriculum and personality was ideal.
