I have been my car here for years. Chris, Matt, and John are the best wrenches around and overall great people.

Honest and they do not treat me like an idiot. Things are explained in a way that is not magic.

How much does a smog check cost?

Have this place done State inspections on Tesla 3? I need one but don't want to drive all the way to Devon PA. However, I also don't want my battery punctured because they don't know how to lift the car.

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! I completely understand your concerns and want to reassure you that we’ve performed many state inspections on all models of Tesla vehicles. We have the adapters needed to safely lift your vehicle and would be…

He was able to correctly identify the problem by hearing/ seeing/ doing a quick manual test in a matter of minutes. I have taken my car here three times and am NEVER upsold on stuff. The dealership told me twice that I needed a catalytic converter (to the tune of a couple thousand dollars), but the folks at Incognito have diligently made necessary smaller repairs first to rule out all other offenders before selling me a new one. It's been 2 years, and I still haven't needed a new cat. The only downside is that it's a crowded lot on a residential street, so there's a lot of car jockeying and sometimes you have to go for a bit of a walk to get to your car. And unlike the dealership, they take weekends off. But honestly, that is a minor inconvenience when you have an honest tech you can trust.

We called in advance to ask if they fix Priuses. Now, they are saying they don't fix them, and we need to take it to the dealership. We stopped using them years ago, because they fix something and charge you $1,000 without asking for approval. So, if you go there for inspection, they charge you to replace a radiator which breaks within a year. Another time they fixed the wrong lock in our door. They made us pay for fixing the locks on the right and left hand side. Plus, they made us run to the locksmith and get the parts. It took them a month to fix our car that time. We live super close, and we could have parked our car in our driveway for 2 months. Dave won't accept responsibility, and he just blamed us for our car being parked on the street and not getting fixed. He has the only set of keys for the car, so I'm not sure what he thought we were suppose to do with our non working car.

I've had brake rotors, pads and drums explained to me time and time again, and i still can't really remember which one is the really expensive replacement. (I think it's the rotor.) Anyway, finding a good mechanic that does the job for a fair price and in a timely fashion is quite a feat. I'm proud to say that I found such a mechanic at Flourtown Sunoco. His name is Rich and he's honest and his prices are upfront and fairly reasonable. I have a 2005 Saab 9-3 and the dealership nearby is criminal in it's hourly labor charge. $109! What am I, Sumner Redstone? You may fool the rich yahoos from Huntingdon Valley with those prices but not this hardscrabble sort from funky Erdenheim. The Sunoco is much cheaper and he gets his parts from the Saab dealership. So while the parts might be the same price (of course, after market is cheaper), his labor is like half. Plus, you don't get the Starbucks coffee machine/"free" rental dog and pony show the dealership gives you. The car is ready a few hours later and that's that. Oh, as a bonus, he even works on my 1970 Triumph TR-6. Most mechanics are super scared working on old cantankerous British roadsters, but he's fearless. Anyway, if you live in the area and need a good, honest mechanic....Flourtown Sunoco is a very good choice.

So since I had to pay a lot for a lawyer I was told by many people that " they are gonna sell ur car right from under you". I've waited all my life for my Dodge Challenger v6. When I called the guy said " no we would never sell your car". He was very pleasant and curious He took my number and said his manager will call me tomorrow. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews because they have been very kind to me. Anyway I think I will get engine work done here. We will see how they treat this "dumb" real blonde. I'll keep u posted.
