They are NOT right around the corner from me, but after trying several garages near me, I have returned to the K & S fold! Just today (4/15/2024), I ran over a curb while running errands, and I went straight to the garage hoping that they could tell me what I had damaged and whether I could drive my car until they could fix it. They put it on the rack and had it fixed in 15 minutes. (I don't want to set unrealistic expectations, but they didn't charge me for the work that they did to get me back on the road in minutes!) Ralph and Mike run this shop like a business should be ran. They are honest, prompt, fairly priced and know all there is to know about all types of vehicles. The shop is very clean and has about 6 bays and an office/waiting area. When I enter, I am always greeted by name and treated with respect. I do some of my own work and the guys know that and ask me if there are minor things I'd like to fix. Just brought in my Chevy truck that no one could figure out and Ralph knew what it was based on my description. He fixed it and was correct! Don't normally provide reviews but I feel that K & S Auto deserves recognition. I had a minor auto maintenance issue. I called several auto shops and K&S was the only service that responded quickly. It required a second call to see if they had enough time to fit me in during the afternoon but they were able to. Service was professional and prompt (as I waited for completion in their waiting area). From my perspective they are 5 star organization. Most importantly the services rendered was very reasonable. I had called dealership and their quote was substantially higher than K&S, who's service to me was just as professional. This family-owned business deserves 5 stars. I took my car there on the advice of a friend for a noise in the front end. The dealership told me that it was $1,100 in repairs -- new struts/mounts and sway bars. These guys took a look and said it was only bad tire rods, $200 to repair, saving me over $900 and they fixed it that day. My car is driving perfectly again. Anyway, it is refreshing to meet honest and reliable car mechanics who have the integrity to do things right. I can say enough good things about these people! They're worth SIX STARS or more. Years ago I came to them after getting a dealer repair estimate of over $600. They corrected my car's problem for $50! I've not gone any other place since. At closing time yesterday, I limped into their shop with a badly missing engine.
