During this time, I hit a curb and tore the sidewall on my wife's tire. So I decided to obtain a quote. To my surprise, they were close to the quote I received from my wholesale club. So I gave them the work. When I went to pay, my bill was actually $50 lower than the original quote and cheaper than BJs! Last week and this week I had a very frustrating experience at the Pep Boys in Exton, PA (Store…read more0158), and I want to share this as a cautionary note for others scheduling services here. I ordered tires online and had them delivered to this location, along with an oil change. Unfortunately, they didn't place an oil-change reminder sticker on my car, claiming they had run out. Then, I scheduled a vehicle inspection for 9:00 a.m 10/7 and rearranged my work schedule (I'm a nurse, so this was not easy). At the last minute, I was told the inspector called out and I'd need to come back the following day. I was promised a small discount and rescheduled again. When I showed up this morning, they had no record of my appointment and no emissions stickers available. The staff was unprofessional and unsympathetic. Overall, this location's communication and customer service were very disappointing. If you plan to use this Pep Boys, I'd strongly recommend double-checking your appointment and having a backup plan. Currently I am driving around with outdated inspection stickers but plan on finding another place today.
