I've been taking my dog to Flo's for a few years. We tried a few options since moving to Marin, and once we found Flo's, we were very happy and made it our routine. With the change in ownership this year, I was a bit nervous since my dog takes a longggg time to warm up to new people. We just got her groomed and I'm SO HAPPY with the results and how comfortable she was at pickup. We'll definitely be back! read more

Great service, gentle with my blind and deaf dog and reasonable prices. Also quick - done in an hour so don't have to leave my dog for hours. read more

I love flo's! He is always able to take us last minute... which may just be my luck, but it's been a very easy and stress free process. I've also seen the way he treats the pups and I can tell he's a dog lover and actually cares about his furry clientele. Jasper always comes out looking dapper and smelling clean read more

We've been taking our dog to Flo's for grooming for many years, and we were initially a bit apprehensive about the change of ownership. But Carlos has been absolutely fantastic, and our dog looks as great as ever. Service is prompt and affordable, and Carlos is always great to work with. read more

My dogs just had the best nail cuts ever! And I've tried many places around San Rafael. Juan Carlos is obviously well skilled and professional. And kind to my fur babies. We definitely will be back!! Thank you! read more

Maria is great! She always does a nice job grooming Malachi. He's always so happy afterward. Protocol during covid was pretty easy. Once you park, give her a call, you both wear masks, and she comes out to your car with a leash to pick up your dog. Thanks Maria! Malachi is very relieved to have his summer cut during the heatwave. read more

Excellent , kind and caring; above and beyond. Tries very hard to meet expectations of dogs and their owners!

I've been bringing our Havanese to Lois for 12 years. Lois is the best. Mikey loves her so much even though he's not a fan of being groomed. Lois is patient with him and does a terrific job. read more

Best in show, they are great, the best dog grooming business. Very caring about their customers and treating them so well. Even my crazy dog who will scream bloody murder when cutting its nails. I highly recommend them. Easy parking too. read more

My dog Bruno HATES getting his nails trimmed. But Lois did an amazing job of doing it quickly and carefully and really going out of her way to reduce his anxiety. She was very accommodating to the situation, trimming his nails on the couch in her lobby so I could hold Bruno while she did his nails. It was a great experience (though Bruno might suggest otherwise!) So very impressed. read more

I will ONLY take my two pups to Lois at Flo's. I had taken my dogs to a few places and now I will ONLY go to Flo's. Bradley and Henry are smaller rescue puppies and Henry is a bit of a handful. Lois is so kind to them and so assured that they are not terrified when I drop them off. In addition to making them look, feel and smell so good, Lois is also fairly speedy. (For awhile we took them to another place and my dogs would come home 6 hours later exhausted and dehydrated.) We love Lois, Lee and Marie at Flo's. They are the absolute BEST dog grooming place in Marin ALL of Marin County. xoxoxox Kathryn The Yoga Teacher read more

Marie and Lois have both cut my dogs hair and they are amazing! They always ask what you want and do a really good job doing what you asked! Dogs never love going to the groomers, but when we take ours home he is happy and exhibits any distress that happens with a lot of other groomers. I dont know what shampoo they use, but my dog always smells good for at least a week after...what a miracle! Prices are fair and service is great. Highly recommended! read more

My dog is an anxious dog and hesitant to meet new people, but with Maria she went happily and made no fuss. Every time she comes out with a smile and looking so pretty. Highly recommend read more

I've been taking our dogs to Lois for three years and I'm so happy with her. She is gentle with our elderly Maltese and great with our two Havanese who can be a bit of a handful. They seem to enjoy being with her and kiss her good-bye when I pick them up. Her place is clean and well-run. I highly recommend Lois as a groomer and trust her completely with our dogs. read more

Maria is the greatest! She grooms our labradoodle puppy, Mellow, perfectly. He always comes home smelling delicious and the cut is even and really well done. Nails and paw hair are trimmed, as are all the areas around his privates. She doesn't give doodles that weird poodle pouf that a lot of groomers do; if you have a doodle, we can't recommend Maria enough! read more

I went here with my puppy. It was his first time getting groomed. Maria was his stylist. She said she could only do a partial grooming since he wouldn't let her do more. That was fine but I really didn't like the way he looked afterward. I guess it was because she couldn't do more. Maria was very nice. I had a little bit of a hard time understanding her since she had a thick Spanish accent. They crate your dog after the cut until you pick up. I'm not sure if I will try this place again or try some place new. read more

We were new to the area looking for a groomer and so glad we found Flo's!! Lois was super friendly and was able to fit us in same day due to cancellations. They did such a great job on our pup we will definitely be going back! read more

Lois does a great job with my two pups! I've taken them to two other groomers in Mill Valley and either the dogs were very frightened or the groomer was just rude and seemed not to like their jobs or their customers. Lois is kind and gentle and both my dogs go in happily and come out looking beautiful. Happy to refer any friends to this groomer! read more

Maria and her assistants are excellent at what they do. I have a Shih Tzu who needs grooming very regularly and I think there is an art to how the cut is shaped. He looks perfect. Every time. read more

I have taken by mini poodle mix to Maria for quite a long time. I recently go between Maria at Flo's or Bed and Biscuits. I do this because of convenience, not necessarily the groom. Both places are very good. read more

Lois Amaru has been my dog's groomer since he was a a puppy (almost 6 years now) and not only does he get a great hair cut, but he loves to go there, he loves Lois, and he always walks a little taller when we leave. Lois has been very helpful with my dog's allergies and itchy skin, and is always on the look out for remedies. She pays careful attention to his health, and once alerted me to an ear infection I didn't know he had. She is wonderful and warm, and knowing that my little buddy is going to a place where he is not scared but happy and cared for gives me such peace of mind. I also heard another satisfied customer raving about Lois in a pet supply store a few towns away, so I'm not the only fan! read more

Lois did an AMAZING job with my dog! He's a rescue and very nervous around strangers. She was so sweet to him and he looks great! Highly recommend!! read more

Lois and her husband Lee take such good care of my cavalier Kippy who saunters in wagging and ready for the big ear-rubbing hello Lois always gives him. The most important thing is that I know he's safe, loved and in the best hands possible--and the fabulous haircut he always gets is just icing on the cake. I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on this little guy who goes from scruffy to snazzola in just a few hours. They're very careful with his sensitive ears--Lois even letting me know (like last time) if it looked like a problem was brewing. In fact with Lois I feel like I have not just a groomer, but someone who's as invested in his well being as I am. Triple belly rub recommendation for Flo's! read more
