I will ONLY take my two pups to Lois at Flo's. I had taken my dogs to a few places and now I will ONLY go to Flo's. Bradley and Henry are smaller rescue puppies and Henry is a bit of a handful. Lois is so kind to them and so assured that they are not terrified when I drop them off. In addition to making them look, feel and smell so good, Lois is also fairly speedy. (For awhile we took them to another place and my dogs would come home 6 hours later exhausted and dehydrated.) We love Lois, Lee and Marie at Flo's. Marie and Lois have both cut my dogs hair and they are amazing! They always ask what you want and do a really good job doing what you asked! Dogs never love going to the groomers, but when we take ours home he is happy and exhibits any distress that happens with a lot of other groomers. I dont know what shampoo they use, but my dog always smells good for at least a week after...what a miracle! Prices are fair and service is great. Highly recommended! read more

I've been taking our dogs to Lois for three years and I'm so happy with her. She is gentle with our elderly Maltese and great with our two Havanese who can be a bit of a handful. Maria is the greatest! She grooms our labradoodle puppy, Mellow, perfectly. He always comes home smelling delicious and the cut is even and really well done. Nails and paw hair are trimmed, as are all the areas around his privates. She doesn't give doodles that weird poodle pouf that a lot of groomers do; if you have a doodle, we can't recommend Maria enough! read more

I went here with my puppy. It was his first time getting groomed. Maria was his stylist. She said she could only do a partial grooming since he wouldn't let her do more. That was fine but I really didn't like the way he looked afterward. I guess it was because she couldn't do more. Maria was very nice. I had a little bit of a hard time understanding her since she had a thick Spanish accent. They crate your dog after the cut until you pick up. I'm not sure if I will try this place again or try some place new. read more

Lois does a great job with my two pups! I've taken them to two other groomers in Mill Valley and either the dogs were very frightened or the groomer was just rude and seemed not to like their jobs or their customers. Lois Amaru has been my dog's groomer since he was a a puppy (almost 6 years now) and not only does he get a great hair cut, but he loves to go there, he loves Lois, and he always walks a little taller when we leave. Lois has been very helpful with my dog's allergies and itchy skin, and is always on the look out for remedies. She pays careful attention to his health, and once alerted me to an ear infection I didn't know he had. She is wonderful and warm, and knowing that my little buddy is going to a place where he is not scared but happy and cared for gives me such peace of mind. Lois and her husband Lee take such good care of my cavalier Kippy who saunters in wagging and ready for the big ear-rubbing hello Lois always gives him. The most important thing is that I know he's safe, loved and in the best hands possible--and the fabulous haircut he always gets is just icing on the cake. I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on this little guy who goes from scruffy to snazzola in just a few hours. They're very careful with his sensitive ears--Lois even letting me know (like last time) if it looked like a problem was brewing.
