She loves her job so much that she has pictures of the dogs she cares for all over her house, which is really sweet. I wish it had been the right match for our dog, but I appreciated Basia's honesty about why it wasn't. If I could give a negative score I would. We trusted Lorna to watch our 3 cats and leopard gecko…read morefor 6 days. Not only did we have to cut our trip short, but the standard of care that was promised was not delivered. Lorna promised to call when she started to let us know everything was OK. When I hadn't heard from her, I got nervous and called her. Lorna had trouble getting the front door key to work, but instead of calling (she had multiple phone numbers to use and instructions to call if anything came up), her plan was to try again the next day -- without feeding the cats or letting us know that there had been a problem. That judgment on her part nearly caused my fiance to fly home immediately. We suggested that she try WD40 in the lock -- rather than the wax she had thought of trying -- and she got in. I should note that we examined the lock and the key upon our return and had absolutely no trouble locking or unlocking the door. We locked and unlocked it a couple of dozen times and were able to open the door every time. After that first day, we felt we needed to check in every day, and when Lorna reported more trouble with the lock, we decided to return early as we did not trust that she could reliably manage the situation. She had also promised to clean the 3 litter boxes once per day (if not, it can get to be quite a mess). We were gone 4 days and the boxes had never been cleaned. Upon our return, there was urine and feces outside all of the boxes. Lorna also promised to clean out the water dish (we have a drink well), it was dirty and there was food debris in the bottom. Bottom line...Although Lorna seems to be a nice person who cares a lot about animals, she did not demonstrate the level of professionalism one would expect from a full-time pet sitter. If and when we need a cat sitter again, I plan on calling our veterinarian for a recommendation.

Ruby still loves it, we hadn't been in probably 5 months and when I pulled up her tail was wagging and excited to go in. Couple updates, they're still the best, the customer service is awesome, the services like baths, nail clippings are really good. There's a free bath but a nicer bath and grooming is very affordable. Also, they require bordtatella shots every 6 months which is a good thing and to make it easy, they can administer there as well. Most of the employees have been there for years, they love the the dogs, the dogs love them, and everyone is super nice - still love Park-A-Pup!

Robert and Jonah have been so wonderful with him- even putting up with his puppy car sickness he thankfully grew out of. I have also done some training with Robert which set the strong fundamental baseline for Reggie's reactivity (only with us, never on his pack walks). Nice reminder it is time to re-book! Getting Reggie into the pack with sir walks a lot has been such a god send since day one as I returned to the office a few days a week. He is out on hikes and having adventures around the gorgeous Marin county open spaces. I have to add that Jonah went above and beyond last week. I was out of town for work, and when Jonah came to pick Reggie up he smelled something off. He went into the kitchen and noticed a burner on. He saved us from what could have had a tragic ending. For this, we are eternally grateful. Thank you to both Robert and Jonah for being such a wonderful part of Reggie's life and ours! We are so thankful we found you.
