I found this place to have good reviews on Google and Yelp, so wanted to give it a try. The dealership quoted me $330 to replace my drive belt and this business was able to do it for $220. Though it was first come, first serve, they were able to complete the work in 2-3 hours and they did it at the original quote. The staff was friendly and the service was great! read more

This place is unprofessional and crooks. First time I came in for an overheating issue. I left it for some days to diagnose and repair. They said "we couldn't find the issue, but the alternator needs to be replaced". They said they tested it and I "got lucky that that fixed the issue." I am not a mechanic but it did not make sense to me that an alternator would fix the cooling issue. Weeks later, it started doing the same thing so I took it back for warranty work. They they "we finally found the issue," which to me is why couldn't they find it the first time? They said the reservoir has a hairline crack and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part age took a few weeks to arrive. Took my vehicle back to get it installed. Now it did the same thing and they are now saying it's another part and blaming it on the time it took to get it delivered. They don't want I to take responsibility on bad workmanship and have charged and want to charge every time for not fixing the problem. Horrible way of doing business read more

I ended up needed a lot of work done on my car but Muhammad and his entire staff were so great and attentive the entire time. I got my car valve gasket done there because my car was leaking oil.Then 6months later it started leaking again more then ever' Took it to a different shop and I was told it was the same problem that it Was before' and wasn't done right the first time' If u want something done right don't take it here. Yea these guys truly deserve 5.0/5.0 starts for their work. Their diagnostic check runs cheaper by $50-$150 compared to competing mechanics across Sacramento and ESPECIALLY expensive Elk Grove. These guys are trust worthy. They give deals and cut prices to accommodate folks as best they can. Their advice is honest and reliable. Came in on Friday at 1 pm after calling a few times the day before. I think his name was Alex? Was on the phone with a customer. No "I'll be right with you". Continued on the phone for the next few minutes with a customer. Love that they take care of the phone & that's the only reason they get one star BUT someone else could've helped me. My brakes and rotors to my car went out and were growling at me allll week. Nissan Rouge. Hopefully Alex remembers me because this ugly review is for him. Did a visual inspection and said yup it's your brakes and rotors in the front & maybe the back, we'll check those. It'll be $420 out the door. I signed a paper saying okay all good $420 is uncomfortable being a single mom but let's do it. Called my Lyft with my one year old son on my hip. Unload his BULKY car seat. All for Alex to come out "hey hey I looked blah blah blah up and it's actually $550". Excuse me?!? For some brakes and rotors? Absolutely not. Insanely priced. At this point, they didn't even check the backs yet so that was apparently just for the fronts. I said nah, I live check to check at times, no. He was talking about "I have medical issues, I know how it is". Alex, please learn to keep it professional. Immediately said nope, not doing it. They weren't trying to negotiate with me so I said nope. Went down the street and paid $385 for brakes and rotors. $550 is insanely overpriced. The best (worst) part about it is he told me "your boyfriend can do it much cheaper and it's so easy". I never once mentioned I had a boyfriend or was on the phone to give impression of that. So he was out of line. Employees need to be checked real fast. I'll never come here and I know they don't care cause a lot of businesses don't care if they lose one potential customer, but I'm literally always having the worst luck in cars so I would've been spending good money if he could've kept his mouth shut. Oh and Muhammad (who was super nice) came in the office as I was talking to Alex talking about "oh she called yesterday" after Alex was saying "oh no you didn't call us" "you don't know what you're talking about". I trusted these guys for years until now. I brought in my used Dodge and paid over $100 for them to look over my car. I just bought it and wanted to address any issues asap vs. after severe damage. As requested, I was given a priority list to hit the critical problems first. #1 tires, #2 front brakes ... Since leaving there I had drip. I thought it was from an oil change at jiffy lube. I brought it back there and they let me look under the car. The transmission pan was leaking and needed to be replaced. The next day the check engine light came on. I took it back to my mechanic and learned that the sensor for fumes was going off. Long story short. I took it to another mechanic for $69 and discovered that the fuel line was leaking, and the transmission pan needed to be replaced. These are two pretty big deals, and both got missed. I was robbed and cannot afford to get robbed by them again. Tires, brakes, and everything else on their list will be reviewed and performed elsewhere. Sad, I really was happy to see them grow over the years. Florin Auto Centre, I want a refund of $110, the price of paying you to try and sell me tires and front breaks vs. looking out for my best interests. read more

I came one day to get a price on some rear lowering shackles for my truck (2014 Silverado). Muhammad goes out looks at the truck and comes back in. I was given the price $297 out the door. So I leave a deposit and would wait until the part came in to bring the truck. I get call a day later saying the part is in so I dropped off the truck. The next morning I get a call saying it'll be $165 more to install it because my truck has a trailer hitch and they have to remove it. They went outside and seen my truck before I was given the price. So the new price would go from $297 to $462! I decided no go go ahead with the price increase of $165 and went to pick up my truck instead. Next time make sure you guys inspect the cars/trucks before giving out a price. Or if you give a price honor it. read more

They open at 8 am with a first come first serve basis I arrived and 745 and walked in with the first mechanic to enter. I want her them take 2 customers in before me before I left awaiting a call. Called me at 4 before close stating that just got to look it over and had an attitude when I requested to come pick up my vehicle. They later lied about the whole interaction. I had a piece of metal dragging on the underside of my car. Found this place on Yelp and it had good reviews so I decided to bring my car in. I explained what was wrong to the man who was behind the counter, Jose. He asked for my keys and personally took my car. Lifted it up and replaced a few screws. I asked how much and he said it was just maintenance and I was good to go. The customer service was top notch and I decided to get my oil changed with them that day. How I was personally treated made me feel respected as a customer and I wanted to give them my business. Anyone who decides to read this review, please give this place a try. Took my car to have them fix the water pump. They told me it was the harmonic balancer and not the water pump. They called me back said the water pump was also a problem after originally saying it wasn't the problem. Next they had a problem starting the car and it they couldn't fix it. So they sent it to another shop who originally fixed this issue. Now, they don't want to be responsible for whatever took place that caused the subsequent issue. These people are crooks and took a two day job and turned it into a three week problem. I will never use them again and will file a complaint with the better business bureau as well. read more

I called about 5 shops around town and got estimates on a 2 inch level kit with install on my new 2019 Ford F-150 Super Crew. Jose gave me the quote when I came in and was patient and showed stellar customer service when giving me my estimate. Since his estimate shattered the other places I called, I booked an 8am Saturday appointment. They were ready for me when I got there and let me know my truck would be done between 3pm-5pm. At 2:00pm, I received a call that she was ready for pick up. I arrived and my truck was perfectly leveled. More impressive than the perfect cutomer service and quality work, was the fact they used a Rough Country 2inch level kit. I didn't even request a brand but the used a top end part. Very impressed. The flashy 4x4 and truck specialty stores quoted me almost double. His staff is just as professional and courteous. I will use this repair shop again, recommend it highly to potential consumers seeking a reasonable cost for auto repair(s). The other quotes within the community were outrageous for a repair that would not exceed 1.5 to 1.45 hours of work. Granted, the job consisted of removing things to get to the replacement part. Yet a skilled auto repair professional need not gouge the consumer by claimimg a 4 to 5 hour job to justify the cost / quote.
