Don't bother. I took my son's car to get serviced. Explained to the worker that it was the spark plugs. I was explained that I needed to pay for a diagnostic of $140 and that it would go towards the work if agreed. They found the misfire was from the fuel injector. $147.17 for spark plugs. $461.95 for the fuel injector. Approved work for the spark plugs only. Got the car back. Signed the receipt of work. Didn't realize that the receipt states I declined all work. What? Called them to inquire about it and was explained that they didn't replace it because not replacing the fuel injector would have blown them spark plugs out. This was NOT explained to me, he did not offer any type of accommodation or $ reimbursed. BAD BUSINESS!!! Sunil says he will own up to the BAD BUSINESS. read more

I always get serviced at the service center that I got my car from as I trust them since they are the manufacturer of my car. I never thought about getting maintenance done from another shop, but because I wanted a fair and affordable price, I decided to check out auto shops on Yelp, and found this place to have great reviews. I went to see if they can do the maintenance (oil change/filter, rotation of tires), and this place does! Went in around 1:30pm and I was immediately taken care of. I waited about a little over 30 minutes (which is better than 1-2.5 hrs at my usual service center). Once they were done, they gave me a reasonable price and that was it. Came in as a walk-in for an alignment because I changed out one of my tires. I ended up needing my control arms replaced. The person who helped me out showed me what happens with my car because of the old control arms and explained why they needed to be replaced. He also showed me the part, once removed, and thoroughly explained what it was, the cause, and what was happening with the control arms. Not only that but he also cleaned my car (and I've been putting it off for months). The person at the counter was super friendly and very helpful. It took the guys no time at all, I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Most auto places drag their feet but these guys get things done. He even let me know I had an oil leak and needed a new plug which he didn't over charge me for. Auto Stop message to me: bring in your car, we'll see what we can do for you. I go there, which is not a super convenient location for me to drive thru. After waiting a couple minutes in the lobby with other people, the counter person comes in to ask if we've all been helped, i have the report in my hand about why my car is having problems passing smog, and counter guy rudely tells me: we don't do smog repairs, with an attitude that says: stop wasting my time. WTF? Don't go here unless you have time to waste and get dicked around by a RUDE counter person. F this place! read more

Very trustworthy mechanics (which is hard to find, as we all know)! I have had great experiences here with my Scion xD. They have done all sorts of work here for me- routine oil changes, routine 120k mile service, brake pad/rotor change. I have also brought my wife's car here for an unknown sound, and they checked the car out without even charging us when they couldn't duplicate the sound. On top of their honesty, they have also charged very fair prices for the good work they do. I took my car in because a couple of times my car wouldn't start. They did a diagnostic on it I also explained to them what would happen when it wouldn't start. They checked my battery and it was still good. We ended up replacing the starter. He gave me a quote and the cost of the diagnostic went towards the parts and labor for the job. Text me the next day to let me know it was ready and they were able to save me almost $100 since there was a part they didn't have to replace. Early in the morning 11 March I called the shop and spoke to Kevin if I can bring my car to there shop to fix my transmission and He told me drop it off and will see from their. I told them what happened to my transmission so About ten to fifteen minutes later Steve came in and He print the estimate how much do I need to pay. Two to three days later Kevin called me that theirs a leak on the right axle that need to be replaced a seal. I told him go ahead and also they did alignment for the wheel. I am updating the review with the invoice from Auto Stop shows the oil change was performed on 6/16/2020 with customer supplied parts. The oil filter was loose and was leaking before I posted my original review back in Dec, 2020. I brought in a blue Purolator ONE oil filter for the oil change and when it leaked I went under the car to tighten the filter and discovered the filter was white color. No damage to the car but I don't appreciate the switcheroo. read more

Auto Stop is a hidden gem in Sacramento! I was way overdue for an oil change and scheduling one at my local dealership was booked out for a week. Auto Stop came up on my search on Yelp and read good things in the comments, so I decided I'd give it a chance. I called ahead to make sure they were able to work on my car since it's a 2022 Subaru, and they said they did. I came at around 12pm and Kevin helped me out immediately. He took my car info and took my keys and went to my car. Not even 30 minutes, he comes back and tells me it's all done. 30 minutes!! I had cleared my afternoon thinking I'd be waiting for at least two hours! And when he rang me up, it came out to a little over $50. Not only did I save time, I saved at least $70, whereas I would've spent at least $120 at the dealership shop. Kevin was fast and friendly. The owner is a young man named Steve, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and knows how to run a business! They also do tire rotations, breaks and a few other auto services. After reading some good reviews I decided to try Auto Stop out to fix my grandma's AC in her car. They did an awesome job and now her car's air conditioning works amazing.
