I moved here from Chicago this December and recently received my new Florida license plate. While…read moretrying to install it, however, the bolts on my Honda Element broke. I consider myself fairly handy, but I struggled to remove the screws that held my old license plate on for the past 12 years. I even tried drilling them out, bought a special tool to remove the broken bolts, and watched multiple YouTube videos for guidance but didn't have any luck. Frustrated, I decided to search for mechanics in Sun City Center. I found a few and made some phone calls. One mechanic offered a fair rate for his time, while another quoted me between $50 and $100 and required an appointment to be seen. I then came across Pablo and Brad Auto Xperts. After reading their positive reviews, I decided to drive to their shop without an appointment to see if they could help. Upon entering their office, I was greeted by a friendly and courteous employee. I explained my situation, and she promptly went to find someone to assist me. A technician came out, assessed the issue, and helped me mount my rear license plate. He was friendly and genuinely wanted to help. When I asked how much I owed him, he replied, "Nothing; we did it as a courtesy." I was truly blown away by this kindness. In Chicago, I had many options for mechanics, but in Florida, I don't know anyone yet. Thank you, Pablo and Brad Auto Xperts, for your kindness, friendliness, and willingness to help. You have definitely earned my business!

She insinuated I was a liar and became extremely defensive and I suppose did not expect that I would defend myself and not allow the mistreatment. I asked to speak to her supervisor and I guess verbal abuse to women is thing... based on my experience and reading past reviews. He outright called me a liar, started cussing at me, calling me other names and became extremely threatening and verbally abusive and I mean EXTREMELY verbally abusive. I did not feel safe dropping my rental back off to him with the threats and verbal abuse. However when my significant other approached him to address the verbal abuse he surely didn't speak to him in that manner. Weak minded man who verbally abuses women but cowers when a real man confronts him. They also charged me for a late fee which was their fault and what I called to address in the first place. They double charged me for insurance for my rental. The workers there are nasty and disrespectful and I find it hard to believe that they are still in business. I am writing corporate and submitting formal complaints with business bureau's and licensing agencies. This was unacceptable! If you don't believe me read the multiple other reviews on various sites with the same issues. Here is your warning to STAY AWAY and go elsewhere!!

Customers beware! This is, by far, the worst experience I have had with a car repair company in my…read morelife. This company initially appealed to me because they advertised coming to pick up your car and dropping it off in your parking area (how convenient!) and seemed like a nice local small family business (which I always try to support). As a physician, I work very long hours and appreciated the convenience offered by this company. This however turned out to be a major issue in the long run. Some months ago, my car developed a slight issue that occurred for about a half second every 30-40 miles. I drive a 2009 car with over180,000 miles so I thought it important to have the car checked out in case a part needed to be changed. Briest Automotive initially took the car and performed a routine maintenance service before returning the car to me. Following this, the issue persisted, so I reached back out to them. They opted to come and pick up my car once again at which time they performed a repair on a part within my transmission. Following this repair however, my car began having a MAJOR issue which occurred reliably when shifting gears. This rendered the car unsafe to drive, so much so that I almost got into a car accident on my way from work (the car randomly stopped on a left turn at a busy intersection during rush hour traffic). After this, I opted to leave the car on my parking and get a rental. I tried contacting Briest Automotive about this/tried to figure out what happened, however no one returned my calls or messages for weeks. Eventually, Pamila (the customer liaison), answered apologetically and explained that they would come and get the car asap with intentions to return it only when it is fixed. After weeks of not hearing back from them, I sent a message to them to just forget about it and return my car to me by fears that they were actually trying to steal it at this point. At that time, they explained that they had performed said repairs totaling over $1,500 (replacing certain parts within the transmission) and that the car still had the major shifting issue. I reviewed this with multiple mechanics and ALL have said that this course of action was unreasonable and likely had a financial incentive. All have reliably explained that no one actually trying to solve this issue would have replaced every part of a transmission on a car with over 180,000 miles. Exchanging the transmission for a new one should have been their only move as everyone knows how expensive transmission are. I discussed this and my dissatisfaction with them, and they claimed to stand by their "excellent" work/decisions, even claiming that they were doing me a favor! charging me over $1,500. Despite my comments, they refused to bring my car back to me until I paid for the entirety of their charges IN CASH. I have never dealt with such an incompetent and unprofessional car company. Due to trusting this company, my car was damaged/became unsafe to drive resulting in my almost getting in a car accident; I was charged over $2K of unnecessary repairs on a transmission that needs to be changed anyways; I have incurred additional unnecessary car rental charges totaling over another 2K and been car-less for months due poor efficiency and communication; I still need to get my car fixed and start back at step 1 (meaning more time, more money) - I just hope that they have not damaged other parts of the car and that it can actually still be salvaged. I am incredibly disappointed with this company. CUSTOMERS BEWARE! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! These people are not only negligent but incompetent and money hungry and will surely take advantage of you if possible. I am typically not one to speak out against other professionals because I know how hard it is to own a business, but at this point I feel as though it is my responsibility to warn honest customers about this company's ways.
