They stated no they did a camera walk around for me and started it up and I bought it and had it shipped. My mistake was trusting a business to do and tell me the right thing. I completely understand maybe needed new tires as I could see in the walk around. I've had this car since May and still can't drive it and already dropped over 3k into it. Things they would have 100% known about. Examples Blinker doesn't work, needed a wheel bearing, missing all inner wheel wells, center caps for wheels were on car on video walk around and when I got it they were off, side marker blinker doesn't work, tail light assembly needed replaced, ground affects were falling off, headlights stay on and don't shut off now, not to mention oil pain gasket leak and leak in return line for the turbo. And they won't help. I didn't expect a perfect car but when I asked any known problems they could have said rides rough and blinker doesn't work and a couple other things I would have never purchased it. Do Yourself A Favor Do Not Buy From Them Or Make Sure You Go In Person. Update from previous and reply to them. Now I have had the BMW at the BMW dealership for weeks now. They can't figure out the problem and even have BMW working with them to try and resolve it. They stated that the dealer or who ever owned this car before have hacked the system bad to the point even the dealer can't update the module it needs to fix the car. I have not been able to drive this car since I purchased it back in April. The dealer stated they tried to help Yeah they gave me $300 I am currently at over $4,000 in problems not to mention I can't even drive it. All I want is them to do the wright thing and buy this junk car back the they sold me. It is 100% a lemon.

I am talking about dealing with Van Steel. I purchased a rear coil over suspension kit from them for my 1968 Corvette. Let us say that this was some time ago. I had an issue a month or so ago, I had misplaced or lost some parts for this installation. I called and talked to a woman sorry that I don't remember her name she was very kind and helpful in finding the parts that I needed. I purchased them on a Thursday and they were in my hand on the following Monday. I then ran into a problem with a part, even though after the length of time it had been most companies would have just said sorry it is out of warranty. They instead offered several solutions to the problem and suggested the one that I believed would fix the problem with the least amount of effort. They also stated that if this did not fix the issue they would work with me to find a solution that would solve it. I am hoping that the simple fix works but am very confident that if it does not they will work with me until a solution is achieved.

After several days of phone calls and emails encouraging me to come in, the dealership prepared a written proposal for a new 2026 Hyundai Elantra SE with my 2012 Elantra Touring in trade. The agreed out-the-door price was $19,993.46, and my wife and I came to the dealership on July 4 fully intending to complete the purchase. After spending considerable time completing paperwork, the deal was stopped at the last minute because the illumination for my odometer display had become intermittent. The odometer itself still records mileage correctly (approximately 51,500 miles), but because the display was not illuminated at that moment, I was told the dealership could not verify the mileage electronically and therefore could not accept the trade. I was even told that, for all they knew, the car could actually have 150,000 miles. Since then, I have spoken with Hyundai technicians at other dealerships, as well as members of Fitzgerald's own service department. All advised that vehicle mileage can generally be retrieved electronically using Hyundai's diagnostic equipment, depending on the vehicle, and Fitzgerald's service department even invited me to bring the car in for that purpose. What disappointed me wasn't simply that a problem arose. It was that after aggressively pursuing my business and preparing a complete purchase proposal, the dealership showed little interest in exploring a reasonable solution before canceling the transaction. I later purchased the same 2026 Elantra SE from Hyundai of New Port Richey for $19,499.80 out the door--nearly $500 less than Fitzgerald's proposal--and the odometer issue was not treated as an obstacle. I also wrote to Fitzgerald's General Manager describing my experience and asking whether the dealership wished to revisit the transaction. I received no response. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Fitzgerald Hyundai.
