The man running the place and his son were kind. The man spoke a bit of English but I think his son understood more. They let us have some wine while we waited for our table. The house (box) wine is a euro for a glass - still tasted better than decent wine in the US ha! The meals were traditional Portuguese, the tomato salad was fresh and good, the cod was salty. The beef with egg was a bit tough but the sauce it was in was great. Cash only. Overall the restaurant was very cheap and a reprieve because we couldn't find anywhere to eat between Graça and this area on a Friday night (Good Friday) that wasn't a huge wait or too expensive or too touristy and we were starving! This restaurant is definitely not a typical tourist spot. read more
