Ann was also very helpful on the day of the wedding as a coordinator - she made sure that everything ran smoothly and that I didn't have to worry about working with the vendors. It was such a relief to just be able to enjoy the day! Basically, she is a pleasure to work with and will be as involved or as laid-back as you desire. I wanted to take a pretty firm hand in a lot of the decisions, but have Ann take care of some of the details. She came up with great ideas for table cards, seating charts, and lots of other things. So, let me explain: Not only did my husband and I have enormous trouble deciding on anything....we couldn't even agree with each other! I don't know how Laura did it (in fact, I am hoping that she opens another business soon that offers marriage counseling), but she created the perfect event that exceeded both of our unbelievably high expectations! She was gentle and sweet when we needed it, and she was tough (but still nice) when we needed to make a decision. She somehow knew how to deal with both of our opposite personalities at the same time. She asked us questions that I frankly couldn't understand why.....but later realized when we walked into the reception and took in the beautiful and uniquely personal space! She held our hands (and sometimes shoved us) through every step of the process: picking the venue, finding the perfect rings, setting up all of the appointments, choosing the flowers (which she ended up doing because we knew nothing.....and they were PERFECT, and not expensive), choosing a great photographer, choosing the food and wine, our outfits, our invitations, our gifts, our cake.....absolutely all of it. And it was exactly what we wanted (even though we didn't know what we wanted). I wish I could give this review a million stars. She kept us on budget and was always reminding us when certain things were due, such as deposits, etc. Her help was priceless the day of the wedding. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. We could totally enjoy the day, and not have to worry about talking to the people delivering the cupcakes or flowers. In fact, she went above and beyond her call of duty, returning a CD I had borrowed from a musician playing at the wedding. My wife said that Michelle fulfilled all her dreams and fantasies about wedding flowers. She has very high expectation about our flowers, but still, Michelle went above our expectation! We looked at our photos and loved every aspect Michelle has prepared for us. Highly recommended! You would never ever regard choosing Michelle! The most difficult part of our decoration is the arch. The arch is basically a 3D metal scaffold and we have thought about many ways to cover it. After talking with Michelle, we proposed to use a lot of greeneries and some flowers to cover it. On the big day, we were all amazed by her work! It was so beautiful and covered so nicely with all the flowers and leaves. It was truly mind-blowing! We have never thought that our arch could be done with such a great look. The flowers and greeneries look so natural, so fresh and so full. We cannot love it more! Michelle has prepared an amazing boutonnière for me. Unfortunately when we took pictures before the ceremony, my wife accidentally pulled a flower out from my boutonnière. After Michelle knew this, she immediately made another boutonnière for me. With her prompt help, we can have a safe wedding ceremony. There are many other things we loved so much about Michelle. My wife loves eating fruits, especially berries. We are pleased to find that in our flowers, there are strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. My wife loves the brilliant idea so much! My friends know me as someone with high expectations and I was blown away by Michelle's work. Her flowers were the talk of the wedding because they were just that good- check out her instagram because her work truly speaks for itself. Hiring Michelle is like being able to suddenly make one of your BFF's ridiculously talented at floral design, and then also make them the most supportive wedding fanatic, whose main goal in life is to make your wedding day amazing. I'm sure she has better things to do but that's how great she makes you feel when you work with her! I'm super indecisive about everything and yet am a huge perfectionist so she gave me advice on linens.. candles.. everything. I also wanted a vintage look with different collections of vases/canisters for each table and she spent who-knows-how-many weekends foraging goodwills and flea markets searching for these for me. Above and WAY beyond. She's a super sweet girl, so much fun to work with, flexible, timely, professional.. basically the perfect vendor. She contacted my site-coordinator herself and was coordinated with my photographer to get the best shots. She was great at working with my budget and transparent about pricing. In fact, I had an escort card structure in mind that I had given up on, thinking it would be way out of budget but she gave me a super fair price and gave me the option to build the structure itself to keep costs down (and she would just add the florals). She made it possible for me to have my dream wedding :) She is truly awesome and I recommend her to all my friends- in fact, I'll probably think they're crazy if they don't book her. She did mention that it can take a few weeks before I see the quote since this is a solo entrepreneurship & the busiest season for her. Initially I was just looking for some floral accessories but ordered all my florals including 10 centerpieces, my bridal bouquet, boutonnières , Jaimala's & bridemaids floral cuffs.
