AWFUL TREATMENT TO WOMEN! They broke my dresser and put a hole in my wall. Laughed at me and told me it's not the end of the world. Refused to reimburse because it's in their contract. I'm DISGUSTED by this company...UPDATE--Now, I've received 2 phone calls and a text in 20 minutes for me to take the review down because they gave me a $200 discount that I wasn't aware of. I stand by my comments and the awful, condescending way I was spoken to.UPDATE #2 on 7/29/23 What part is a lie? I did not move anything to the top of my closet so the floor could be installed. All of my clothes had been moved on the rod, but again like I had told you my biggest issue was the appalling treatment I received because I am a woman. My review is 100% accurate. I was spoken to condescendingly and it was disgusting. A few of the things that happened was I was laughed at and told "it's not the end of the world." The floors are great but I would NEVER do business or recommend anyone to your company because of the way you and your employees treat women. I walked into the showroom and met Rami. He is one of the most pleasant professional salesman with the upmost respect for what we were wanting. After obtaining several other proposals, we decided to go with Rami, even though he was a little more expensive, we are so glad we did. Called Floors and Beyond based on Yelp reviews and could not have been more pleased!! Khalil and his crews did a fantastic job with our floors and painting. Installed SPC vinyl planks throughout first floor and new carpeting upstairs and stairs. Also painted master bedroom and updated fixtures in half bath. From the moment we walked into his showroom until the moment the last member of the crew cleaned up and left, we were treated professionally and without any surprises or headaches!! Khal and his crews have been doing this a long time and it shows. Always gave us solid straight ahead information and advice and worked to keep costs down where possible! Very flexible scheduling too as our project straddled the recent winter storms! We found floors and beyond in Valpak. There are no coupons like all other contractors use to entice, but we still considered after doing several review searches on him. To date, I don't believe he has any ratings on google or Yelp less than 5. Also, he is A rated on BBB and the business is accredited. There is even one 5 star review on the BBB. So, he doesn't need to entice via coupons and we still chose him. We had our whole downstairs flooring done, kitchen cabinets, countertops and paint. Upstairs guest bathroom we had flooring, cabinets, removed tub and had walk-in shower installed and painting. You will ultimately not pay any less than a big box store, but what you are ultimately paying for is Khalil. He has degrees in remodeling and design and was always full of ideas and suggestions and that really helped. But the best thing about Floors and Beyond is the desire to make things right when inevitably things go wrong. We had a few snafus, the worst of which included ripping up of new tile that was already placed and reinstalling. There was no hesitation by Khalil to make that decision. You are dealing with the boss who has full authority and thankfully full of desire to make the customer happy. The issue we hear most about from others who are doing this type of work is the unreliability of sub-contractors. Except for federal holidays(we did our job during xmas/new years) and Sundays, a contractor was at our house every day. And every morning Khalil, before opening his shop, would stop by the house, followup, verify work done, and give any instructions to the sub-contractors for that day. We are now considering re-doing our upstairs flooring now that our downstairs was re-done and we aren't even considering anyone else. read more

Great experience. We had our whole house painted inside and out, 2 baths and a kitchen remodeled. We really did not know where to start. Khalil walked us through the process step by step and made it easy. Best thing is he offered suggestions to keep the expense down. His crews were courteous and did a great job. Floors and Beyond - AJ Was our salesperson and coordinated every step of the way on our kitchen remodel. I can't begin to mention all of the accolades I have for AJ and Floors and beyond. 99% of every appointment he scheduled was performed by extremely on time and by the most competent individuals. All completed the work assigned and did so without any instructions from us. Each time they finished they cleaned up their mess and asked if all was ok. AJ gave us an accurate bid and except for the upgrades we asked for in the process held to the exact quotes. We had light fixtures removed and replaced them with new LED lighting which improved visibility 100%. I can only offer my very biased opinion after completion, he was the very best I could have ever asked for. I seriously can't say enough about this place!!! The owner Cal was very friendly, accommodating, professional,honest and VERY patient!!! I did my entire house in a vinyl wood look and put it over real wood in three rooms and limestone!!!! Who does that!!! The house was built in 89 and beautiful, we bought it last year and the upkeep was killing me!!!! I think it was one of the most difficult decisions I have made in a very long time!!! Kay who works in the office helped me feel more comfortable!! She is wonderful! Then we have the crew that installed!!! Sergio who I called "Picasso" was amazing 3500 sq. ft in four days!!!! Finished up detail the fifth day!!! It's hard to find a reputable business and I feel very fortunate to have found Floors and Beyond!!! Will have them back to redo a bathroom upstairs next year!!!
