They came out, charged us, told us it was fixed and promised to send before and after photos. We never got those photos. We were just left on read. A few months later the exact same leak came back. When I asked about a warranty I found out they offer zero warranty on repair work, not even one year (it was buried in the fine print and I didn't know any better at the time. So my mistake there). Pretty much every other roofing company I've dealt with since then offers at least a one-year warranty. After the second leak I had multiple roofers come look at it. The difference was huge. Most companies sent an actual roofer who climbed the ladder and walked the roof. Kanios only sends salespeople who fly a drone, snap a few pictures and leave. The roofers who actually got up there told me there was no sign of any repair in the area that's leaking. The only patch they found was around a completely different vent that had nothing to do with our problem. Kainos just insisted the work was done correctly and refused to send anyone back out to check. No accountability at all. I'm now paying Gabriel with TrueWorks Roofing to fix it right. They climbed the roof themselves, spotted the real issue in minutes and are doing the job with a proper warranty. They even spotted a hole in my home that Kainos didn't even point out during their visit Lesson I learned the hard way: always go with a roofer who physically gets on your roof instead of just flying a drone, and always pick one that actually gives you a warranty on the work. Plenty of good companies do both. Kanios does neither. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

More than a month went by with no updates, and I had to follow up multiple times to get any information. After several texts over a span of two days and a call, they finally told me the only option was a custom door. Overall, communication was somewhat slow, customer service was not as responsive as I had hoped, and the original plan wasn't carried out.

They first redid all of the exterior with hardy plank, new windows, doors, paint, landscaping. That was for the house and detached garage. Then they tackled the first floor with all new wood flooring, a rearranged and totally new kitchen, new cabinets, fixtures, lighting, floors (tile), paint. The rest of the downstairs was given new paint, floors, shutters, moldings, electrical upgrades and lighting. New look in the 1/2 bath. We explained to them what we would like to see done and the result went way over what we expected or hoped. We were thrilled. Phase 2 was the upstairs, especially the Master Bed and Bath. New carpet upstairs, new electrical fixtures and lighting, new molding in all the rooms and hall bathroom with new fixtures brought the whole upstairs into a great look and super function. All of the closets were reworked to make them much more organized. But the Master bedroom's builtin cabinets were more than I had requested! The design by the owner was spot on and much more than I had even thought could be done. The Master bath is so beautiful with the new layout, new tile work, new light fixtures, new cabinets and new concepts - down to a toe tester in the walk-in shower. We had thought we would downsize or remodel after retirement. I am so thankful that we finally decided to remodel!
