Jim listened to what I had planned for the space and catered the grading and removal based on my expectations and some. He took into consideration that I would eventually put down decomposed granite so removed soil at edges to ensure the gravel stayed in my yard. He knew exactly how much to remove His use of his machinery is done with surgical precision so he's able to remove what needs to be removed without touching anything adjacent to the work area that needs to remain. He treated my mature Afghan pine with care and preserved my existing drip/bubbler line I wanted to retain. I am so pleased with the results which exceeded my expectations. I will use Blue Horizon Excavating for all my future projects. Jim is just the best. He is responsive and provides recommendations to make your project a success. It also helps that he is very easy to talk to. I know very little about converting a lawn to xeriscape, I'm a complete novice. We asked Valleywide to come out and give a quote for quite a bit of demo work in our back and front…read moreyards that included haul away, concrete demo, block demo. Initially, Ben was so friendly and promised quite of bit on behalf of his company. His initial consultation with us even gave hope that he could eventually help us do some extensive remodel to the back door/patio of our house and the back wall of our master bedroom. When it came time to estimate the project, Valleywide advised they were equipped to do not only our demo and haul away, but also construct a new block wall, lay a new cement slab and install new gates for us. We were so excited to have found an all-in-one company, so we scheduled our project as soon as they were free. Once the project started, it was downhill from there. They first advised they'd be a day late, then days late, then over a week late. Once they began, the demo went okay aside from a cracked drip line that we repaired ourselves. The pivot from demo to construction was atrocious. We were told a mason was scheduled to come out to construct our block wall. They didn't show for a week. After some serious questioning from our neighbors and HOA, we pressured Valleywide to get back out ASAP, and they ultimately did show up the following Monday but without a mason. Ben and his partner, who didn't appear to be masons, spent the better part of three days trying to figure out how to properly align our wall. They laid slab over the footings and ultimately created an uneven base for their project. We don't love the end result, but the wall was finally finished after the mason arrived on Thursday that week. In short, it as a sloppy finish that we'll have to sand down before we paint. Lastly, the real kicker for me is in the details. From the beginning of this project, our biggest concern was installing new gates that properly fit the fence openings, opened and closed with ease (unlike our last RV gate) and did not offer any openings big enough for our small dogs to fit through. Late Friday afternoon, the final day of the project, one guy was left on the job installing the gates. They were installed with a substantial opening at the bottom that our dogs could easily crawl under. The gentleman was nice enough to adjust the height at the end of his shift. When I opened and closed the RV gate, i realized they overlapped slightly and will not close without some force. Worse off, you have to throw your shoulder into the gate to get it to open. And as if that's not frustrating enough, they used the smallest screws to attach the composite slats to the frame that do not go all the way through the slat. In less than 2 weeks, most of those screws popped right off and are completely incapable of holding the fence slats together. When I asked Ben about the construction and size of the frame, his answer was "that's as good as we can get it." We'll be in the market soon for a properly fitted gate to replace the complete waste of money this gate ended up being. If it isn't clear by now. I would not recommend allowing this company to take your money and contract out some truly terrible work. Their demo quality (the namesake of their company) was fine. Do yourself a favor and put in the extra leg work to have other professional companies do the rest of the job.

During a flooring upgrade, I discovered a crack in the slab that had been caused by a broken water pipe at some time in the past. Flooring Professionals was the fifth firm that I contacted regarding grinding the heaved part of the floor flat so that laminate could be installed. The other four went through the motions and had the technical terms, but even on-site they didn't even look at the whole problem. Rob was able to ask the right questions about the extent of the problem over the phone (!). He gave a reasonable estimate and was able to do the work two days later. I also had him remove some tile at the same time to make my upgrade go more smoothly. After the work was done--which was an amazing job--the phone estimate was right on the money (no pun), and I was able to install my new laminate with no problems. So here's the deal--I would not hesitate to have Flooring Professionals back to do more work in other rooms. I would recommend to you that you at least call them if you are researching flooring contractors for your home. They make sense, speak English, have reasonable prices, and are happy to provide helpful hints for your project. read more

Thoroughly satisfied with Rob Hayton and his crew. They removed ceramic tile from my kichen, dining and bathroom floors today without the mess of dust from the thin set and concrete! They were organized, professional, clean and conscientious. I am so glad we decided to use this company and appreciate the way Rob fit me into his schedule to accomodate my floor remodeling. Rob is such a nice guy! Super knowledgeable and helpful. He really knows his stuff and he's not afraid to give advice and offer suggestions even to DIY'ers like us. My husband and I got into staining our own concrete and we made a couple mistakes and Rob not only gave us guidance with info on how to prevent further mistakes with the surface of our concrete but he also helped us get the right equipment and products to do the job the right way. HEALTH HAZARD: Failed to remove Gyp-Crete underlayment after water leak (standard practice for 50+ years). Didn't replace flooring under refrigerator adjacent to leak epicenter. Guest bathroom "repair" cosmetic only - ignored actual water damage. Environmental testing: 115x normal airborne mold levels. Immediate evacuation required. Forced into 12-month alternative housing. WHAT THEY MESSED UP: Improper water remediation with resulting mold from guest bathroom leak. Insurance denied coverage for workmanship. Forced to pay for all repairs out of pocket. Flooring: 428% markup, cheap laminate without cork underlayment (creates echos). Recommended herringbone pattern for highly irregular space, looks terrible ( pattern used only for square/rectangular rooms). Master bathroom: defective tile work, installed broken shower column with absurd double rain shower configuration, large pendant rain shower on low ceiling and redundant shower controls. Requires accent wall removal/retiling with all new hardware. I redesigned entire shower myself in 15 minutes at design studio, Crafted did not even put in this much effort. Painted entire unit yellow without authorization while I was out of town, no samples provided. Charged for column plaster never performed (only "necessary" because they cut floors improperly). Double-billed for baseboard painting. Different subcontractors daily with poor supervision. Attempted to enter property without permission (after being told twice to stop work) in order to lock in substandard plumbing. Took paid materials when terminated for cause. Also left unit unlocked for a week while I was working out of town. REFUSES RECEIPTS: Attorney demand letter sent requesting receipts and documentation. 6+ weeks - zero response. Claims it is "not industry standard" to keep receipts for such projects. TOTAL DAMAGE: Mold remediation, kitchen/guest bath reconstruction, master bath corrections, repainting entire unit, 12 months alternative housing, moving expenses. Over $150,000 out of pocket to fix their work with one year of planned relocation. LEGAL ACTIONS: ROC complaint filed (inspection Feb 2026), Attorney General complaint filed, BBB complaint filed, preparing for lawsuit. Will update review once completed. Despite creating uninhabitable conditions, only response from Crafted is a demand for an additional $21,092. Other contractors confirmed 4+ units in my building were properly remediated from similar leaks. Crafted did not recognize Gyp-Crete underlayment despite removing all flooring (acts as sponge when wet). Photos/video: mold report showing 115x normal airborne spore levels, yellow paint, haphazard shower install, broken shower column. I would appreciate if Crafted responds with receipts rather than emotions. My attorney requested itemized invoices 6+ weeks ago. Still waiting.

We contacted the owner and set up or consultation for the plans we had for our home. We agreed and placed a deposit. It took one week, and our main floor and guest bath were all tiled. We were happy and excited to have the other parts of the house, bedrooms and master bath tiled. We saved our money and called for part two. The one item we added was tiling of our master bath- to include removal of the vanity and adding tile for a feature wall behind the vanity. We paid 50% in December and scheduled install for spring break in March. After verifying workers would show on Monday the week before, we moved all 4 bedrooms into the garage and began camping in the living room. Monday morning arrives and the workers do not show. They cancel for the day because they behind on another project. Day two goes great and we are excited at the progress. Day 3- the bathroom tile installer called in for the day. Day 4 all the floors are done and are being grouted. They dug holes in our brand new installed landscaping in our front yard. After addressing them to not so this, new plastic barriers and new landscaping that's less than a month old, they literally dug a second hole in our front yard breaking the plastic again. Day 4 also-The bathroom has very little progress.... Day 5- the installer comes with their child. We tell the owner we can not take anymore time off work and can not be there Monday to finish up as we can see it will not be finished. Day 6- kid is back on site working with installer cutting tile and installing fyi... we are communicating with owner that the full feature wall needs to be done- what we paid for- and the installer did not want to do. He felt the new vanity would cover it. IT DOES NOT MATTER!! if I want to change my design to two pedestal sinks the tile should be installed professionally and we PAID for it! But sadly, the worker left that day, saying he was done. Grouted over newly laid tile with no spacers and begrudgingly... and it looks horrible. We paid our contract but refused to have them back in our house. We hoped they would do the right thing... an unfinished, unprofessional job.... They did not, they actually blew our phones up to get the check cashed and verified at our bank the next day... We sent photos, we communicated, we weren't bad customers... we we're screwed over and exploited for not being "those" customers

They took the tile off, gouged into the plaster wall under it. The company who brought them in agreed the jobs they did were horrible.

They're a friendly and efficient crew who protected my kitchen cabinets with plastic before beginning and moved appliances and pulled/reinstalled the toilet to get all the tile out. They were very helpful, quick, and did a great job. I highly recommend these guys for all your floor demo needs. If I ever need another floor ripped out I'll be using them again.

We used Cranmore flooring for our 3 bedrooms needing new carpet as well as our loft getting some…read morenew vinyl. I first checked on Facebook for recommendations and their company was highly recommended. I had put in for a consult and within minutes I got an e-mail to set us up for a measurement. We then went into the office and picked out carpet first. We put in our order back in June. After ordering that, we found some vinyl we liked and ordered it mid-July while awaiting the carpet. The carpet was taking forever to be delivered, with multiple delays. We actually received our vinyl before the carpet was ever delivered. Finally, come beginning of August we reached out to Cranmore again, as we had not heard about the carpet and it had already been almost 2 months since we initially ordered it. We heard back from the company, that they would make it right. They gave us a discount and upgraded us to a better carpet that they had in stock since they weren't able to tell us when ours would be delivered. The end result was the vinyl, and carpet looks amazing, and we are very happy with it. We understand things happen out of their control, but in the end they made it right.

They used a series of independent contractors (no employees) to complete our work which was shotty to say the least. All grout lines are inconsistent, edging is off on many places, and floor sloping is not right. Tiffany never called to check in and Art never answers or returns a call (only texts), and they didn't even bother to come see the completed work either. Had they bothered to come look at completed product they would've see a yard full of tile fragments/trash and white spray from tile saw all over the yard since they didn't tarp. They left all the boxes from tile sitting in side yard, their lunch drinks and trash on our bathroom counters, and drips of grout/mortar stuff everywhere. And finally they threw a bag of leftover grout over the wall since they didn't want to bother opening the gate. So I spent hours cleaning up and will have to wait for a ton of rain for my yard to ever look okay again. I have to paint the walls around the project from them needing to hire a drywall expert and deal with a final result that, being very generous is okay. I would never recommend them to anyone and would actually highly recommend using anyone else.

They always arrived on time and kept the construction interference to a minimum. Iosef and his team were excellent to work with and I highly recommend them! We could not be happier!
