My wife and I recently finished renovating our master bathroom, which we absolutely could not have done without the help of Christina Schaefer, Design and Counter Top Specialist at Floor & Decor in Arlington, Texas. From the get go, she made the experience of shopping and selecting the materials for the renovation a very pleasant one! As we browsed the store, we found a particular piece that we liked. We showed it to her and immediately she went to work. Before we knew it she was bringing back other pieces to complement the one we had chosen. In fact, she designed the whole bathroom look around that one piece. It was fabulous and we could not be any happier with the results! Not only she guided us to the selection of appropriate materials, she also calculated the amount we needed, using the measurements provided by our contractor. During the renovation process we had several questions. Christina was not only available to respond to them but also was super responsive and diligent. When we made changes and additions to the design at last minute, she was ready to get us the additional materials needed, facilitating that process for us. We only had to place the order online; she made sure of having it ready for us to pick up. We are so very pleased with her job, guidance and assistance through this process and can't say enough good things about her. I'm a delivery driver at night & the old fella that unloads at night was playing favoritism with Schneider. I got there around 9pm & was in the dock & Schneider pulls up & as I'm waiting for the the gentleman to come out I go ring at the door bc he's usually out by that time. The Schneider dude tells me that I'm gonna have to get out of the space bc he's going first & he was with this other man so it's 2 old dude's & I'm a young female. They try to intimidate me bc I got there first. Then the old fella comes out & goes up to them not acknowledging me & they then start talking amongst each other & keep in mind I'm a few feet away from them. One of the 2 guys pursuits to say "she gonna have to get out with her lying self she said u open at 9pm what a liar." When I get here to floor & decor they have gotten me at 9 latest 9:20pm. The old dude doesn't say anything about the other guy calling me a liar & making me look a fool. The only thing he says is " I had a lot of work so u have ur appointment at 11pm." & then again they started to talk amongst themselves. So sexist. I wasn't sure what time my appointment was but that doesn't give the reason to be treated like it's just a men world. read more

I have been looking for some time. I visited all the local places looking at wood flooring and deciding on which one since the selection is so great. Customer service was really good...but at Floor and Decor it was great! From the hello when I walked in to the final sale. I visited 3 times to make my decision on the 4th trip it was to purchase. Second time there I meet Ruben he is the Mgr. over the flooring and teaches the classes if you are interested in self installation. Friendly as he is he asked many questions to understand what I was looking for. He suggested 2 different products and yes I went with 1 of them. Next I meet Junior I believe he is the Mgr. of the store..(?) He helped me with my purchase and assured my satisfaction with my purchase. From the cashiers to all the people I met in the store It was a good positive experience....I don't own a truck so I made several trips to get my flooring home. The gentlemen in pickup and loading laughed but that's okay it all worked. I hired a contractor named Rubio, did a great job! My flooring looks fabulous! read more

Just recently I shopped at Floor & Decor on Pioneer Pkwy to complete my selection for tile flooring. Feeling overwhelmed with so many selections and after many searches at this and other tile stores, I made up my mind and bought my tile, which was to be delivered at the end of the week. I changed my mind and went to the store. Apprehensive of their reaction to my change of heart, I was surprised at the positive and supportive interactions with Kaela Williams, Cassidy Hernandez, and Tashalia Daniels. They were professional, respectful, knowledgable, and helpful! I felt that they truly cared about me, the customer. I then began to select another tile...again! Rosie Clavijo, came to me and offered her help. We walked together and she spoke about all the different tiles and the advantages of all types. I had a fantastic experience with Floor and Decor, this place has great prices and awesome selection of products.The staff is super professional,polite, prompt and meticulous to every detail of your project.  We had help from Paul the assistant manager and he is awesome! He is extremely helpful and was able to assist us with all of our questions. He made it obvious that he cares about his clients. Paul was very knowledgeable in selecting the right items to achieve the look we were going for and helped us in gathering all the materials we would need to complete our project from beginning to end. He explained everything so well to us (even the installation) that the project should be seamless. Just an overall an amazing experience!! Upon arrival I was completely lost on what exactly I needed for the floor being installed at my home. After waiting for a few minutes I asked one of the associates (who was busy with an other customer), if he can please get me some assistance. Without hesitation he called for someone. The associate assisting me was very knowledgeable and asked me questions on what my preferences were. I also mentioned not wanting to spend too much $$, yet the middle range price would be fine (expensive is not always the best). He walked me through what the best options would be and his patience, knowledge, customer service, and mannerism were amazing. I left confident I made the perfect choice, since the items purchased were eco friendly which was a major plus!! I have been to this store quite a few times over the past 12 months or so. A huge range of products and I have always found the staff to be very, very helpful. I was there this past weekend and Cheryl walked me around took at all of the options I had in mind and made some very helpful suggestions. I then went to check out for tiles I had to have shipped in from out of state. Kaylen was the checkout person that I went to and she did an incredible job. She ended up having to chase down my order at multiple stores. While she was often on hold with them she was still greeting and directing customers that were walking in, answering the phone for new calls and communicating with other employees in the store by radio. My wife and I purchased our very first house and it's very overwhelming trying to make the right decisions for remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. My wife and I could not decide on which color tiles to purchase, so we requested a designer and were blessed with Christina. Christina asked the right questions to get out all of our thoughts. She not only listened and offered suggestions, but then also offered her own decisions. She made picking out tile fun, and we wish we had more tiles to pick out because we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and process with Christina. My husband and I visited Floor & Decor and while this was our first visit to the store, our initial reception was that there wasn't any helpul staff available. Staff quickly answered your question, and speedily walked away. Everyone was busy walking to another destination or perhaps assisting other customers; we were a bit confused about the lack of good customer service -- AND then, we happened upon Ms. Brenda. She was tiny in statue, but was a wealth of information. She stayed with us, answered our questions until we had completed our purchase. On 3/11/19 I went into the store to tile match & pick up some supplies for my kitchen floor.. Christina came up to me to assist. Wow she was awesome stayed with me the whole time to make sure I was satisfied and went into the back of the store to find items that were out on the floor. Over & beyond the call of duty. Great customer service & very knowledgeable... That's not all I had to go back today to return tile & quarter round & get smaller sizes of each. I live in Friendswood, Texas and my house got 3 feet of water in it. I couldn't find any tile anywhere in Houston that I liked. Floor and Decor had some awesome tile that I fell in love with but no Houston store would have it for months because people had pre-ordered it. Andy Huerta, from the Dallas store was so helpful in getting my tile from his store and my sister renting a truck to bring it to me. Andy spent a great deal of time sending me the form to purchase over the phone and answering questions about how much the tile weighed to rent the proper truck to get it to Friendswood. Will Godfrey was such an amazing help! As he was walking past me in the aisle, he could tell I was super confused on some of the selections available. So he stopped, asked if I needed some help, and truly went above and beyond with advising me on the different selections. He took his time explaining the differences to me between the different flooring and was just super kind and helpful. I highly recommend him if you need help with anything, as he does it with a smile that you can see radiating from the mask that covers it. I was in the process of getting new floors for my home and needed a little help creating the vision I wanted. Christina S. was SO helpful with this!! I showed her pics of the look I was going for and she gave me some options to consider. She's VERY knowledgeable about the different flooring types and based off of my lifestyle she was able to give me a good recommendation! I asked a zillion questions and he answered every one of them from the tile grades, finish choices, durability.... also- all about types of grout, mortor, tools. Great tile warehouse in a convenient location. I went there today with my mother to pick out tile for her backsplash. A man named Peters helped us out and inspired me to write this positive review. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Exceptional customer service is such a rare occurrence these days, but Peters went above and beyond to help us with our tile and grout selection. I went to the store to look for a backsplash and was completely overwhelmed until Gwynn (with the fun and spunky glasses) from the design studio asked me if I needed help. She was amazing! She not only helped me pick out a backsplash with the wow factor I was looking for but by the time I left I had the entire color palette for my kitchen and living room decided on.
