Peaceful, relaxing environment. Nice place to take control of your own health and well being. The infrared sauna is clean, comfortable and has a radio with blue tooth capability so you can listen to your own music if you choose. The Halotherapy (salt room) is a quiet place to relax by yourself or share with a friend. Since starting Halotherapy my allergy symptoms are not as severe. I find myself going to Float State once or twice per week just for the salt room. Floating is different for everybody. The "air cabin" is a comfortable open room with an enclosed Roman type bath. There is a shower to rinse off prior to and after your float. Float state provides ear plugs for the pool, towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner for the shower. Other services available: Cryotherapy, Lucia Hypnagogic Light Machine, massage, yoga. The price point for each of these services is reasonable and there are different membership options available if you find yourself wanting to book one or more service(s) more than once a week. Such a wonderful experience! This was my first time coming and I came in for a float session. My first impression was the STYLE! Such great eye for detail and the place had such a calming vibe. The girl at the desk (unfortunately I didn't get her name) was very friendly and helpful. She was glad to answer any of our questions and provided enough instructions so that I knew exactly what to do before my float. The place was very clean and everything was organized and placed with purpose. Inside the float room you have your own shower, towels, Vaseline for cuts and fresh piercings or tattoos, ear rinse, spray for clearing any salt water from your eyes, a face towel for cleaning your eyes of salt water, a stool, and a place to hang your clothes and a shelf. The showers come with shampoo, conditioner&body wash dispensers (which smell amazing) and the water pressure is just right. Upon stepping inside the pod, there is lights and music which remain on until your session time begins. Once you are ready, you close the door and turn off the light (or leave it on if that's what you prefer) and lay down. Due to the high salt content, you float effortlessly in roughly 6 inches of body temp water. As you relax, you eventually stop noticing the separation between the water and your body. It feels as if you are floating in space. There is an optional head floating board for those that may feel uneasy about tilting their head all the way back, but you are advised to let the water come over your ears and up to your forehead or eyebrow area. This ensures your back and neck are aligned and that you release any tension in your body. The only downside is I kept getting salt water condensing on my forehead and eyebrows and it would then drip into my eyes. I tried to ignore it but it got pretty uncomfortable so I had to break the seal and use the mist and face towel to clear it out (which are placed on the rail on the outside of the pod). Once I returned inside, I felt much better as some of the heat and stuffiness that was inside the pod was able to dissipate and it was easier to breathe. I also kept bumping into the walls which would break my focus from meditation. Nonetheless, I emerged feeling relaxed and energized. I suffer from chronic body pain and this was the first time in a while that I was pain free. After your float, there is a chill out spot with journals, books, and tea so you can get creative and write about your experience or color while you sip on some tea. I am definitely coming again! Ps they also have amazing rooms such as a salt room and a stellar yoga studio where they host yoga classes throughout the week and cryotherapy chambers! This is so worth it! If you're hesitant to be in an enclosed spaces they also have a float room where couples can float together and it is less enclosed so anyone can try it! read more

Float state offers many services like , cryo, cryo facial, infrared sauna, yoga, meditation, salt room, lucia light, couples massage , float etc. So far i have tried the float and my husband and i enjoyed it so much. I loved it. I did the relax package which includes the sauna, float tank and salt cave. It was absolutely very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place itself is very clean. They ask you not to wear shoes once you're inside and I wasn't sure how I felt about that, but their floors are immaculate. Ok so after trying out several different places all over OC I much prefer Float State facilities. Most all of them are nice and great people, it's not about A vs B but more so just more volume of interest for sensory deprivation therapy. I am happy to return here now that I've experimented w several other establishments. The fact that I've written a review on Yelp means that I'd rather not contact you privately. My first words in this review were that "I WILL NEVER BE COMING TO YOUR STUDIO ANYMORE." This isn't a matter of not pleasing everyone. What you are doing is deflecting your extremely poor service in the attempt to accuse me of either nitpicking, overexaggerating on my experience, or simply telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about. I have had many bad massages. I've had many students who were nervous during our session. I've only walked out on 1 session and was as very close to walking out of this one especially when she was starting to ask about my personal life. I kept hearing her yawn throughout my entire massage. Typically, even when super relaxed, you can get a sense of when someone is working really hard. I've had therapist actually sweat on me at times. She was mocking me for repeating that I just wanted a relaxing massage rather than answering her question 45 minutes into the session about focusing on any injuries. I made this perfectly clear that I just want a relaxing Sweedish massage before she left the room in the beginning. The only questions that I expect throughout a session is about pressure in the beginning or even half-way into the session. The only other thing that the therapist would typically say would need to say is to flip over half-way into the session. She had my right foot uncovered almost the entire time I was face down and had my right arm uncovered almost the entire time I was face up. She asked me about using the roller when there were 10 minutes left in the session. Why did she need to ask me about using the roller at all? I wouldn't call those unique "can't please everyone" personalization preferences that specifically cater to my needs. I would call that massage therapy 101. That wasn't even everything. I just don't feel the need to repeat myself again. "We wish you the very best, Bradley, and hopefully, you reach out so we can discuss further, or at least with time, you will have a different view on I this moment where you ended up getting a free massage." I've stated very specific examples that explain that this was clearly a horrible massage, but I'm glad you're FOCUSING ON THE FACT THAT YOU GAVE ME A FREE MASSAGE. That clearly supports why you don't have any feedback section in your satisfaction survey and your lack of concern with your customers input on their experience. read more

Was sure what to expect.... we first called and the lady was so informative and pleasant, so we made an appointment for the same day in one & 1/2 hour. When we arrived she show us around & what to expect. After a quick shower, you enter your salt chamber, at first it was a little difficult to relax. Overall it was really enjoyable and relaxing. I truthfully really love this place. I have a monthly membership for the infrared sauna. The infrared sauna is in its own room which is spacious and also includes a shower. I am pretty picky when it comes to the cleanliness of facilities, but Float State never disappoints me because it is literally always so clean. I had a session of Lucia light .... totally cool and very unexpected...time just didnt exist. Then I did the float for 60 minutes. I think it being my first time theres some nerves and alot of thoughts coming and going but I still very much enjoyed it. Wow I really hate to write this review because I've honestly enjoyed float state the several times I've gone. Unfortunately, this review is based only on policy and not on therapists. My husband and I had couples massages booked for today. As we were driving back from work in Palm Springs my husband got very sick vomiting, I dropped him at the house ran to get a Gatorade and called float state as soon as I could. They let me know since we are missing the appointment and can't fill it that they'd be charging a cancellation fee. Under any other circumstances I would totally understand that, as I am a business owner as well and understand how that affects things; however, since the vomiting was sudden at 4:30 pm and the appointment was 5:15 pm im not sure what else we should have done except show up with him vomiting and expose everyone else to whatever is going on, maybe virus or something else I don't know for sure since it just happened. Sometimes policies should have grey areas for instances like this. I don't want to tear down a mom and pop business but just know this has honestly left me with a poor taste and doubtful we will return to the facility. read more
