Definitely not worth the price that you pay! I wish I could give them more stars however it felt like a really basic massage. It cost $200 for a 75 minutes massage that felt like I was just getting lotion lathered on me. I asked the therapist to apply more pressure and she applied pressure for about two minutes and then went back to a really really light massage. I definitely think that they need more experienced masseuse's there. Additionally, the ambiance isn't that great. It's a lot smaller than expected! The website makes the location look so luxurious! However, when I went into the back area where the pool was there is leaves everywhere and there was already a session in the back; therefore it wasn't like you were in private and were able to relax fully. I was hoping for a bath rob, lounging in the pool patio area in the back, but it felt like you just checked in and they give you a massage and then they say "bye". I would not come here for the price point. There are so many better massage places you can go for a better price and a better massage. read more

I am currently pregnant and went into Float Luxury Spa for a 75 min massage (mellow mamma massage). It was absolutely wonderful. Normally I don't do very well with massages because I am a very ticklish person so it's hard for me to relax, however the masseuse did a wonderful job! Best massage of my life so far. My husband also got a 75 min "Deep tissue" massage at the same time as me and he mentioned that it felt great. Afterwards we had a very pleasant 50 min facial (the works facial). Overall, I liked how we were treated kindly and were made to feel at home when we arrived. We were provided with a robe & sandals and tea/cucumber water. I didn't really walk around the premises, the inside of the building is small, however everything looked really clean, organized and had an overall "relaxed/pampering" vibe. I don't think I could go as often as I'd want to as the prices are expensive, but I definitely think its something nice to spend on yourself every now and then to feel pampered and relaxed. I got a message a hour before my appointment stating it wasn't confirmed "without verbal confirmation from you"and that they did "have to give the therapist an hour notice as we are cutting it close here." Again, really shouldn't be an option online if they can't accommodate or make sure their staff is on call/checking to see if someone booked these appointments. I called back 5 minutes after I got the voicemail and got theirs in return- no call back. Drive in from Carp, I really appreciated the email with instructions on where to park and to give yourself plenty of time because I factored that in and wasn't pressed for time. I had a terrible experience with this spa. I called in to have a facial booked. They gave me a time and a day I wrote it down. No confirmation email. Then I came that day at that time and they told me it was the day prior that my appointment was, I argued that they gave me a different day. They said they had called me the day prior - I showed them I had no missed calls. They charged me for the full service even though I never received it, so they charged me for their mistake! And I came out so relaxed and tension free. We went in for a Girlfriend weekend treat and we felt pampered. The front desk gals were so friendly and welcoming. They also have some cute purchases, skin products, bags, books, etc. in the front reception area to look through. The only reason for the four stars is that we had outdoor cabana massages. I visit a lot of spa's. So maybe I am spoiled having seen some great places over the years and had incredible treatments. Float, however, was not impressive and I will not be returning. Don't get me wrong, it was fine, they ran on time, the treatments were ok, but it was just not comparable, except on the price point. They charged prices of a luxury spa, but it was not luxury. It was my birthday and I had three treatments back to back. My first practitioner was nice, but rushing a bit in my body scrub. it was like she just had three cups of coffee. Then I asked for firm pressure in my massage and she ended it telling me I should have booked deep tissue. She basically was just rubbing in lotion/oil the whole time, not a lot of actual massaging going on. I did enjoy the facial, no complaints there. It was just the place and the offerings as a whole, it was crowded and the "locker room" which is just the bathroom with one stall, one shower, and a bench, was kinda dirty. The treatment waiting was nice but again, room was crowed each time I went in. Having to go by the front door to get downstairs to the ladies was also weird and outside patio was strange, unkept, and not private. Anyway- they are fine and trying, but you can fine better for that price. read more

We went here for a couples massage and my partner and I agreed it was nowhere worth the $400 for the 120 min massage. We got deep tissue massages but it felt like we had two amateur masseusses rubbing their knuckles against our bodies the entire time. I'm used to masseuses massaging out knots and really being in tune with my body and how to heal it. My fiancée and I both walked away neither feeling healed or more relaxed. Waste of money and time. I would strongly discourage anyone from supporting this business. I had a 75-minute massage scheduled for 5 pm, a Father's Day gift from my two grown children. I planned my day around it. Then I locked my keys in the car on my way and showed up 20 minutes late, because I had to wait for AAA to open my car. When I arrived, I was led to the massage room, where the therapist told me I had only 45 minutes left. (The person at the front desk had not told me this.) I thought that meant that they had to close in 45 minutes and that the rest of the massage would have to come later. So I said that I'd rather not split it up and would prefer to reschedule when I could do the whole thing. When I went downstairs to reschedule, I found that I had misunderstood, and that the 15 minutes that had been taken off the time was not available anymore. OK, I could understand that. I WAS late. I was told that the therapist had to be compensated for her time. I asked how much time it had taken to get there and home. I was told it was not my concern as to how much time the therapist had taken. I was told that the entire amount of the gift certificate would be charged: $160. This was unacceptable, so I asked to speak with the manager, who was not there. Eventually, Alicia (the manager) and I spoke on the phone, or rather, she spoke and then spoke over me. She had already cashed in or canceled (or whatever the right word is) the total amount ($160) of my gift certificate. Apparently her employees told her that I had been very, very confrontational. In fact, yes, I had "confronted" (as in pushed back against) the fact that they were planning to cancel the whole thing for being late, but I did not use bad language, was not condescending, said nothing personal, and told them that I knew they did not make the rules but that this seemed fundamentally unfair and not right, which is why I asked to speak tot the manager. On the phone with Alicia, she said that all the rules about being late, etc, were covered in the materials I had received. First, I did not know I would receive any forms to fill out or an email. I was on vacation and out of the house all day and didn't look at my email until the following day. I made the appt on the day of the appt, so might have been nice, and good service, to make sure I knew there was an email I absolutely needed to look at before arriving. Having received no such indication, I didn't see the email about their draconian rules until it was too late. On the phone, Alicia told me that her employees whom I'd met were both excellent, and that she always backed her employees (an honorable impulse but not always right) and took their word that I was confrontational and, so, no massage for me. If I miss a doctor's appt, I'm charged some service fee, understandably. But at Float, you might well get charged as if you had used the entire service, when you had in fact used none. Alicia eventually hung up on me. I'll not be going back. This is a human-to-human service. This was a Father's Day gift. I experienced an unfortunate and, thankfully, rare event of locking the keys in the car. No quarter was given. No compensation offered. read more

Part of any vacation for me always includes a visit to the local day spa. This visit is amongst the top 5. My esthetician was quite knowledgeable and very easy to talk to and with. I'm normally not very talkative during a facial but I felt quite at ease, and uncharacteristically chatty. I had the Luxe 80 minute facial. The whole experience was enjoyable and relaxing.
