My bf and I did a walk in today and they saw us both immediately (yay!). We had Mie Mie and Benly for our thai massages and both ladies were amazing! As a head's up to anyone who hasn't had a thai massage before, it kind of feels like extreme deep tissue massage and has some stretching in it (i got a few good back cracks out of this one!). They asked us if we were ok with them walking on us, which we were. They also said if it's too hard at any point to let them know so they can adjust pressure. I always feel extremely loose and relaxed when my thai massage is over and all the pent up stress and strain on my body has been completely worked out. It can be a bit intense, but definitely worth it! Would definitely recommend coming here if you like thai massages. It was great. :) As a head's up, they prefer cash here for payment. Found this gem during my last visit to Santa Barbara. After hours of driving, my body felt so tired and tense. I didn't make any appointment, I just walked in. Unfortunately, my experiences with Dan did not go well. He was unprofessional. He got way too close to my private parts for my comfort. Then he walked out of the room a couple of times. We were in Santa Barbara for a special event, and decided to try a new massage place, I only saw parking in the front only. Royal Thai Massage is top notch in my book, from authentic looking in the lobby, hall ways plus the room. Once you enter you're required to take your shoes off then lead to a massage room by Mia Mia who I believed is the owner, she was very friendly. My massage therapist was Beny, she was very friendly plus professional, I got the one hour Thai / Swedish combination techniques massage, my therapist did a fantastic job, it was the right pressure from beginning to end. Beny gave me a quality Thailand massage useing her elbows, forearms, knees, feet, ankle and hands, there was a lot of passive stretching, bending and rubbing, my muscles was screaming YES!
