Came in for a 1hr deep tissue couples massage to celebrate my birthday and left feeling really disappointed which sucks because we booked here due to the rave reviews. My boyfriend asked for medium pressure, I asked for strong. I had to ask 2 more times during the massage for the woman to go stronger and I also let her know the muscles in my neck and shoulders were very tight and needed more pressure. Despite this, she didn't adjust pressure at all until the last 5 minutes of the massage and did not do any deep tissue work on my neck or shoulders. Because she only did deep tissue on two or three random parts of my body for maybe less than 10 minutes total of the whole massage, I now have something pinched in my lower back that I did not come in with. My boyfriend felt his massage was extremely light except for when his back got walked on, which resulted in him also leaving with back pain because of how rushed she was with her approach. There was also another employee yelling during the beginning of our massage as well and the music kept turning off so one of the ladies had to go out several times to tell them to stop and to turn the music back on. Overall it was a huge bummer, especially for the price of $285. It felt like we paid a lot of money to leave feeling worse than we walked in. We won't be coming back. read more

Booked a couple's massage in advance and we had a great experience. Clean, friendly, serene, and professional service. Mie-Mie did a great job. We opted for the 90 minute combination which involves half with oil and the other first half without. They have an ATM inside so bring cash to pay if you dont want to get dinged with the fees for withdrawal. read more

My bf and I did a walk in today and they saw us both immediately (yay!). We had Mie Mie and Benly for our thai massages and both ladies were amazing! As a head's up to anyone who hasn't had a thai massage before, it kind of feels like extreme deep tissue massage and has some stretching in it (i got a few good back cracks out of this one!). They asked us if we were ok with them walking on us, which we were. They also said if it's too hard at any point to let them know so they can adjust pressure. I always feel extremely loose and relaxed when my thai massage is over and all the pent up stress and strain on my body has been completely worked out. It can be a bit intense, but definitely worth it! Would definitely recommend coming here if you like thai massages. It was great. :) As a head's up, they prefer cash here for payment. They have an ATM in the lobby if needed. read more

My boyfriend had gotten me a 90 min massage for Valentines day. I scheduled an appointment with Mie Mie. My appointment was at 4:30 pm I got there on time. I was the only customer in the whole place. The massage started at 4:36pm and ended at 5:25pm. During the massage the women just keep talking, Mie Mie would take over a phone call and the other therapist would switch out with her. It wasn't relaxing at all. I had to pay an extra 10 dollars for my massage. When he was looking for a place to get a massage for me, he loved this place because of all the good reviews. read more

Wonderful experience, highly recommended. A 1 hour couple's massage cost us $180. Come check it out!!

This was the better Thai massage we've experienced before. My wife and I had Peter Nd Mie-Mie give us massages and it was the perfect balance of tension relief, working out some nots, stretching, and relaxation. Highly recommended this place and people. My wife said Peter knew exactly how hard to push her before it was too much. Great job guys! read more

Very good Thai massage. Booked it online based on reviews and it went exactly as expected.

Mie-Mie is amazing! I left feeling so relaxed and pain free. She is an excellent masseuse. I highly recommend her.

Found this gem during my last visit to Santa Barbara. After hours of driving, my body felt so tired and tense. I didn't make any appointment, I just walked in. Thankfully they had someone standing by and ready. I chose a 90-min Thai and my masseuse (her name was Ohm *sorry for misspelling the name) was amazing. The pressure was just the right amount (I did request a medium pressure) and I felt so relaxed. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a good massage! read more

A friend recommended this place to me. What a great recommendation! Vicky was excellent at understanding where the focus needed to be. If you decide to check this place out, Vicky is an absolute must. I encourage everyone to try this place out and see for yourself! read more

Very rushed massage. Must've been 10 different distractions, where the masseuse left the room to help other employees or answer phone calls. There was nothing Thai special about it. I just felt like a very rushed Swedish massage. $120 an hour And still asked for a tip. read more

Amazing massage as always! We come every time we are in town because it is always the best. Mi mi and Pim are awesome!

Wow! One of the best massages I've ever had., Mie Mie is an amazing excellent masseuse.

Mie Mie is a gem! Loved my combination massage--Thai massage followed by a deep tissue massage with oil with a hint tiger balm. It's not overwhelming and just enough to relax the muscles. I love a traditional Thai massage, and this place does it. It was quiet with spa music inside and Mie Mie is just so sweet. I love supporting a local family business and I'll be back. My body is grateful for the massage and body work today, my muscles definitely feel massaged, stretched, and kneaded! read more

This is the place for a legit sports massage. She knew just the right spots to hit and she toned it down a bit when I said that was a little too much. I recommend. read more

This was my first time getting a massage at this place and I was really impressed with the service. Miemie, the massage therapist, was very attentive and asked if I had any specific areas I wanted her to focus on. I had pain in my neck, shoulders, and upper back, and Miemie worked on those areas until the tension eased up a lot. I highly recommend it -- definitely worth it! read more

Yesterday was my second visit to this establishment. My first visit went well with Tom. I was informed this time he was not available. I worked with a gentleman name, Dan. Unfortunately, my experiences with Dan did not go well. He was unprofessional. He got way too close to my private parts for my comfort. Then he walked out of the room a couple of times. Then he started a conversation with a cohort in the room next door. This was very disturbing to my massage. I'm now looking for a new establishment to work with. read more

We were in Santa Barbara for a special event, and decided to try a new massage place, I only saw parking in the front only. Royal Thai Massage is top notch in my book, from authentic looking in the lobby, hall ways plus the room. Once you enter you're required to take your shoes off then lead to a massage room by Mia Mia who I believed is the owner, she was very friendly. My massage therapist was Beny, she was very friendly plus professional, I got the one hour Thai / Swedish combination techniques massage, my therapist did a fantastic job, it was the right pressure from beginning to end. Beny gave me a quality Thailand massage useing her elbows, forearms, knees, feet, ankle and hands, there was a lot of passive stretching, bending and rubbing, my muscles was screaming YES! This place is nice and super clean, I felt so comfortable here, this is one of the best massage I most definitely will be returning to this gem. read more

Amazing Thai massage! The therapist knew exactly where my pain was and worked it out with the perfect mix of pressure and stretching. It was intense in the best way--painful spots turned into real relief. Left feeling lighter, relaxed, and healed. Highly recommend! Thank you Mei-Mei and Vikky read more

After a friends recommendation and a after reading the reviews, I decided to try RTM. The reviews highly recommended Mie Mie so I decided to ask for her. I am very glad I did. She was everything the reviews said about her. My neck and shoulders were in very bad shape and using Deep tissue massage techniques she unlocked the stiffness that was causing it. Not to mention she was very sweet and nice and I am looking forward to go back again soon. read more
