It has such a rich, delicious coffee taste -- definitely one of the things that stood out to me. The only downside is the seating situation. They only have two sofa booths, with no regular tables and chairs, which feels a little unusual for a coffee shop. It never quite reached the dense, syrupy texture I look for in a great cortado, and after about two sips the drink began to lose its integration. The body became noticeably thinner, however the flavor remained decent and enjoyable. One thing I appreciated was that the espresso itself still showed good quality. Even after the body started to fade, there was still a nice amount of crema coating the inside of the glass, which suggested the espresso was well prepared. The drink never became unpleasant--it simply evolved into a lighter, less structured version of itself. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit. Fast Times has a nice aesthetic, a comfortable atmosphere, and served a solid cortado. With more body and a structure that holds together from the first sip to the last, it could be a memorable drink.

Also the ladies here kind of belted out their laughters very loudly even though they are in the corner and it can be disruptive, but it's alright. Love Coffee Bar is a small charming locally owned coffee shop in Ocean Park, Santa Monica. They primarily serve Counter Culture as their coffee roaster. And on their menu they have modest selection of coffee, tea and specialty drinks. Similarly, they have mugs, tote bags and merch for sale. This coffee shop has spacious interior layout and minimalist artful design. And have dog-friendly policy which was definitely a plus. In addition, they have free wifi and abundant of natural light which makes this shop a good spot to hangout. They have rear outdoor patio for customers that crave fresh air and sun. I perused their menu and ordered a hot Flat White and Iced Coffee. Both drinks were splendid! Smooth and rich in coffee bean aroma. Staff were affable and highly competent. Prices were slightly higher to similar drinks. Street parking only. Collectively, this is a good coffee shop. Overall, I highly recommend LCB if you're in the area.

Barista was super nice and patient. If I lived nearby I'd be by way too often. Highly recommended. Great flat white and seems like they have lots of fun specialties. Parking is going to be street parking, meters or in the residential neighborhood.

But today I stopped by and one of their seating areas- namely the long table and seats near the front- was just totally gone. Replaced with more shelves of things to sell. The seating they've already had has been nice but limited. But now they've made if even harder to get a spot there. I mean, they could have put in the shelves and replaced the long table with a fairly large square table with seats (trust me, I scoped out the space for it) but so far nothing. Just shelves with more products and a big stand around space. With fewer and fewer 'third places' making people feel welcome, I'm disappointed in the less seating at Primo Passo meaning either I get even luckier grabbing a place to sit or I'm just SOL. The people and coffee are still lovely, but I won't be stopping by as often anymore. I was willing to do the drive before, but now I'll need to be in the area and not needing to bank on a place to sit and work or chill. When I first got the matcha, the color didn't look quite right to me, and unfortunately it tasted pretty watered down. I mostly tasted guava and could barely taste the yuzu. The burrito was also pretty small for $16 and was a little too salty for my taste. I did like that they cook it right in front of you, though! Overall, this place would be a pass for me. Maybe I just caught them on an off day, but I wouldn't recommend it.
