Food was excellent and what you would expect nothing blowing us away but still super for the price. My wife and I have eaten here frequently. I really like this diner. The service is friendly and pretty quick, even when they get crowded (which they often are on weekend mornings). The restaurant has a decent variety of food on the menu and it's always served fresh and hot. They really do a great job of keeping coffee and iced-tea topped up without having to chase down a server the way you have to some other places. There's nothing super-exotic or unique about Flo-Anna's (other than a few Greek items on the menu) but I like family-run neighborhood restaurants and this one is well run with great service and tasty food. Flo-Anna's has been a favorite long before Covid and I was happy to see they opened again. They've always been solid service and food wise and that hasn't changed one bit. Food is simple, ample and tasty. My SO and family love their omelettes (ham and Swiss for me), scrambles, French toast and ham; chicken strips, French dip, fish and chips and hot sandwiches are all lunch and dinner go tos. My kid loves their spaghetti when she is feeling like some meaty comfort food and always has leftovers! They have delicious desserts, their servers are always top notch and I've never once had a bad or even questionable meal there. Let's make sure Flo-Anna's survives this pandemic! read more

I've been here a couple of times for breakfast and it's a solid choice. Wait staff was friendly and expedient both visits. There are cheaper options for seniors on the back of the menu and my mother in law was pleased with her order on both occasions. I neglected to photograph my poached eggs but they were nicely done. If for whatever reason, your food takes a while, there are Trivial Pursuit cards as condiments to keep you entertained while you wait. This place is so good! I'm still eating my breakfast and am so mad at myself for not coming here before! We're staying in the area temporarily and would have for sure made this our Sunday breakfast spot. The food is really awesome, for sure exceeded expectations, and the pickup experience was great! Everything was cooked well, I'm not a fan of shredded hash browns but they were seasoned well and had a good texture. The pancakes were great, my picky, I only eat small pancakes child, devoured almost all of their two giant pancakes. The butter was melted allowing me to put their food together quickly so I could enjoy mine which was more helpful then I thought it would be. Even the toast was good - I got the egg toast and I'm one to order the toast but I don't eat it, I ate the toast before I even made a dent in my omelet it was so good! The meat lovers and flos special omelet were both great and cooked SO well. No thinness in texture from the peppers in mine and they were firm but not over cooked. Not greasy, not salty - perfect. It was also really clean inside, they have real high chairs for littles and I should have asked how they keep public high chairs SO clean. I would dine in there for sure. Only thing I would add would be to mark online orders ready for pickup - it's a 20-35 minute pickup time, and if it's ready in 20 but picked up at 35 not wanting to come in before it's ready that leave a lot of time to get cold :) read more

I go to this place regularly and I am never disappointed. I just visited them today to catch up with an old friend and we stayed at our table for almost 3 hours. The staff are amazing, even during busy times. They are always very attentive to their tables and they make me feel like they are watching out for me. The food is your typical diner food. Good mimosas and decent bloody Marys. The atmosphere is relatively intimate. Be prepared for someone to eavesdrop on your conversation and chime in. Dennys is cheaper. the food tasted good. I got the joann omelette and it was good. The waitress was also very nice. Service and food both gets gold stars. Go to a trendy, hipster place for your arugula, quail toast (great stuff, just wouldn't expect to find it at a diner!) It has all the classics as you would expect. My husband and I went for Saturday brunch. French Toast and Biscuits and Gravy. It's that greasy goodness you'd expect and require from a diner. We discovered this gem not long after moving to Lake City and love it! We usually brunch here at least once a month. While we usually get the same thing (me: chicken fried steak with eggs over easy and an English muffin with a Hawaiian Mimosa, him: chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and sour dough toast with a Bloody Mary), everything we've had has been delicious. Just moved down the street and stopped here for breakfast. It's 11:30 am on a Saturday and this place is packed.A hipper crowd of young people here than I usually see at a diner. At least half this crowd has brightly colored hair, which lights up this place like Christmas ornaments. Open kitchen viewing, with a big television in the middle. No lack of entertainment here. Also, I liked the booth seating, which gives you room to stretch out. Started out with a Hawaiian mimosa; coconut rum, champagne and pineapple juice. Not really what I usually have, but it sounded good, and it was. Not too sweet and strong. Next, tried the lentil soup. It has a nice balance of vegetables to lentils. Some versions are really thick and heavy on lentils. This version was lighter and a nice amount of broth. Next, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The food comes out right away and is hot. They cooked everything nicely, I had a pretty simple order. They have a wide variety of food here, I see so many different orders that look great. Even though I'm full, I still see things I want to try. Service was good, you can see everyone here rushing around to help people. Elena was the hardest working server. She was buzzing around the restaurant, carrying huge plates of food and checking back frequently to see if people were satisfied. Well - last time was great. Not so much this time. Not only were the portions SUPER small but the service was terrible. We waited forever to get a side of toast we ordered immediately for the toddler that was too hungry to wait...after eating we waited forever to order dessert, then another 10 minutes for ice cream. The problem? One waitress for the whole restaurant. There was another gal there but she didn't step in to help out. We thought she was a busser at first but she wasn't doing anything consistently - so not sure her job. In the end this was probably the last time we'll be here. Sad. read more
