I am so happy to write a review for Feathers and Fur Express. We adopted our dog, Otis, from a St…read more Bernard rescue group in March of last year as an emotional support animal for our teen. When we decided to move to Italy, bringing our dog was a must. The thought of figuring out all of the logistics and making sure that we didn't mess up was overwhelming. We had never done this before and I wasn't really sure where to start so I took to the internet (also overwhelming). I started submitting for quotes from every company I could find. Let me save you a step, Feathers and Fur Express was the only company that got back to me in a timely manner, asked me the questions one really needs to in order to give an accurate quote and didn't seem like some robotic automated response. After a conversation with Lindsey I knew I didn't need to look any further. Not only was she friendlier and more personal, but the quote we got was also actually better than any of the other companies gave! I cannot imagine having transported our dog without her help. What could have been the most stressful part of our trip turned in to the easiest and I felt completely at ease with all of our dog's arrangements. While it may have been possible to do this on our own it would have been a logistical nightmare with endless stress. Lindsey walked us through every step of the way, making sure that we had an appropriate crate, all of the right paperwork and that our Otis was in good hands during his transport. She also let us know where we were able to save money by doing some things on our own (and how to do them). I seriously can't imagine another company doing this. I cannot recommend Feathers and Fur enough. It is scary to transport your animal and it can be difficult to find the right people to help. Feathers and Fur is helpful, kind and personable, you will not regret using their services and it is definitely worth the money!

I would recommend them, and I would use them over and over again. Best international shipping company around!

Enter Royal Paws Nationwide Pet Transportation. This is a service whose time is long overdue. They have been in business since 2000, however, I was unaware of them until this year. They are incredible. Only your pets are transported in an SUV or minivan that has been outfitted for their comfort with their beds, toys, blankets, whatever. The drivers switch driving so they are not stopping at hotels. The transit time for our pets was only 1.5 days. They were picked up and dropped off exactly on time, we received texts and photos along the way, and Hugh and Nola were available for phone calls at any time if we'd wanted to do that. It is quite obvious that both Hugh and Nola are pet people. They stop frequently to feed, water, and walk the dogs, never around other animals, and they treated them as their own. Fantastic folks! The process is thorough during the booking, worryfree during the transit and the cost is entirely appropriate. I cannot provide a higher recommendation for this company. They are great!

I was soo worried! This is my baby. He means everything to me. I asked Delta to please call and make sure Dandie Scottie Kennels were at the airport to pick him up. When you are 2600 miles away you do need trusting people to keep your sanity! Delta called and made the arrangements. I didn't feel right though, so I called and spoke to Dandie's groomer. Very nice lady she understood my concerns! I asked her to please have her driver call me the minute he had my dog in his possession. I track the plane. His plane landed and I got a call for the sweetest voice in the world telling me my baby was safe and sound. That man was Ricky Bevins, a great employee of Dandie Scottie Kennels. He told me he was putting out a blanket for my boy and he would be in a nice warm safe kennel and he would be the one taking him to his flight the next day to Tampa. My worries and anxiety all ended! This man took the time to call me and assure me that all was fine. Bravo!!! And one dog that's about 9/10 months old and never boarded her. I emailed them before dropping my 5 year German Shepard, Bear, off that he has really high anxiety levels and that he doesn't like to play with other dogs. They were SO accommodating when it came to him. They loved on him the moment he walked through that door and I could tell they were going to do whatever they could to make him comfortable. They also put up with my 1000 questions and directions. And were very patient with me as I wanted to say good bye and comfort him a little. I was so embarrassed to be THAT owner but I didn't care and they didn't seem to care either. They even allowed me to walk him back to his pen personally so I could get him situated. Of course the puppy had no issues and just wanted to go play with the other dogs. It was so comforting leaving them there. I called them once that afternoon just to check up on them and the girl on the phone was sooooo sweet. I was so comforted that I didn't even call the rest of the weekend. I knew they were in good hands. When my mother in law went to go pick them up, she said that bear looked like he barely wanted to leave! And he loves his Grammy! So again, I felt incredibly comfortable. It was a little bit of a drive for us but to be honest, I may never try another kennel again. Such a great experience. Such a great staff. I have boarded my dogs here twice and have had them groomed here often for years. Since they bought…read morethe bfur and after groomers, creekside's attitude has gone downhill. The groomers are professional, but the behavior of the owner/manager has become unacceptably rude. Today was the last straw. I had purchased a gift certificate months ago before COVID surged. I bought it from 2 of our dogs that go there often for another dog who has since gone back to its owner. I asked if I could use the $45 from the certificate for today's groom. Now, if she has said "no we don't let people transfer them between pets," or "no, it's not recent enough," or "no you'll have to use it another time because you didn't tell me at drop off," I would have understood and would not likely be writing this review. BUT NO! She stood there and repeatedly accused me of printing it at home and lying. She insisted she's the only one authorized to print them. That may be so, but as I told her, it was a young girl at the desk who sold it to me about 4 grooms ago. She printed it right on the printer in the front area. Then, the manager accused me lying because I didn't tell her about the certificate when I dropped the dog off, but I wasn't sure at that time if I could even find it. Again, if that was an issue, couldn't she offer to let me use it the next time? Couldn't we compromise on a lesser amount? Or couldn't she let me know the certificate couldn't be used without accusing me of forging it!!?? I'm a regular customer. She could have easily said no without standing there for two+ minutes yelling at me and accusing me of forgery like a mad woman. THEN to top it off, she swore and slammed the desk door, yelled "after dealing with COVID for a year, I'm done!" And then slammed the door to the kennels. I wouldn't want this woman near my dogs again. I don't need her $45. However, I expect respect and appropriate responses to questions. Not accusations and rants. Looking forward to finding a new boarding and grooming facility that deserves my business. ---- Update: This morning, the owner called and admit she found the record of someone selling me a certificate in Jan 2020. I appreciate that she refunded yesterday's visit, but she failed to apologize or express accountability for the incident.
